1 starI bought a console table online from Home Depot and paid for assembly, however they evidently outsource assembly to Go Configure Corporation and I can not get an assembly technician to assemble the product. 1 starI ordered a refrigerator from the Deptford Home Depot to be delivered on 3.19.25. The installation included a new water line. After they were done and gone, we discovered that not only did they not install the new water line, they broke the shut off valve which then flooded the back part of our basement. When i called Home Depot to report this, they told me that the soonest they could have someone out is by 3.21.25 to fix it and that someone would call me on 3.20.25 to set up a time. I did not receive a call on 3.20.25 so I called them on 3.21.25 to follow up and they said they "see a workorder for 3.20.25" but it was never completed. Then they proceed to tell me they need to do an insurance claim which could take 3-5 business days, then they'll schedule a time for them to come out and fix the problem. Meanwhile, I have a leak in my basement that has to wait for more than a week? This should have been addressed right away and fixed the next day. There's risk of more damage, mold and so much more and they have zero concerns since they already got their money. I am so disappointed. I have spent thousands at this Home Depot in the last 2 years alone (air conditioner, washer, dryer, etc) and they just do not care about the service they provide. Safe to say, I will never buy another major appliance from this store.Review fromM. V

1 starWe rented a truck and dolly to do moving out of County. We paid all of the fees after returning the truck and dolly. About 3 months later we get an "overdue " bill for $454.17 saying we never returned the dolly. There was no way to prove this after 3 months. We paid the fine because nobody would believe us and we will never do any business with them again. I would actually give them ZERO stars if it was an option.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot has now failed to fulfill my order or issue a refund twice. I placed an online delivery order using a gift card and they partially filled it. They adjusted my receipt, but never issued the difference to me. Never contacted about the amount they stole on how to get it back or when the missing items would be delivered. After seven interactions with customer ********************** - text and phone calls - I finally got a local store representative to tell me that I had to come in store to get it refunded. I ordered online because they are an hour away. The second order I placed with guaranteed same day delivery has been held in "processing" telling me to keep checking back. Again, my money has been taken, but no items have been delivered. I called the store prior to placing the order and they assured me that there were 15+ items in stock and the website said more than 200. I ordered 2 and they won't proceed to actually filling what I paid for. This corporation repeatedly steals. They stole more than $500 from my parents by not accepting an unopened box of flooring for return. The flooring was still for sale on their shelves. I will never do business with them again and have begun spreading the word. I don't know that ****** is better, but at least they haven't stolen from me.The Home Depot

1 starI was falsely accused of theft on March 13, *************************************************************************** my infant sons stroller and when he went to search into my stroller without any gloves and didnt find any tools he stated so where did you put them and that I was responsible for the theft of tools. This accusation was false and he never found any tool let along I never went inside this store to obtain any tools. This false information could have caused me my entire career. I was searched in front of everyone causing humiliation. Under the 6th amendment that establishes rights for individuals accused of crimes has the right to know their accuser. I asked for this employees name and was told I couldnt obtain this information for confidentiality. I also asked to make a complaint and I was told from General manager ******* it wont be any paperwork just written down and handled on how he see fit. Also the assistant manager stated well he said you stole something ***. My constitutional rights were violated. And this was pure humiliation , discrimination and harassment. I will never do business with them again.The Home Depot

1 starHi There, I found you from ATG Office which i also file a complaint with them on Home Depot and ********. This is what's going on in May 2022 i sign a contract with Home Depot to install a New Island Kitchen in our home. Well the work had many long delays by Oct they started and more delays getting us UPSET. By Nov 2022 it still was far from finish so i blow up at the store . I did not want to wash out turkey in the bathtub That's all we had for months. So they call the Police on me. I told the Police and show them everything the Officer told me to take them to court. Well we did Mar 2023 we won in Small Claims Court they refunded some of the money . But they also BROKE the Contract. i was told to just pay what we owe. Then in May 2024 they hit us with over $7000. Interest on what ??? We disputed it right away and many other times. ********* said Home Depot needs to fix it Home Depot said ********* needs to fix it. I got in contact with Home Depot Headquarters in **. Many talks and they said they get me an answer well that turn out to be wrong. Now Home Depot said its not there fault it's ********* Faults. No one wants to fix this problem. All they want is to paid it. i owe right now $117 on my card and my wife card $2571. Total interest they still want is OVER $7000. We need help with this and if you could fix it even sue them i don't care anymore. I try to do the right thing i am Disable and a Veteran i had to teach my wife how to finish the job ourselves. 1 starI placed in August 2024 with The Home Depot ************************************** and remains unresolved. After the initial installation, I noticed that my door had split at both the top and bottom. I reached out to Home Depot immediately, only to be told that I had to contact the manufacturer, ********, directly because they could not assist me. This has been a horrible customer ********************** experienceI purchased the door through Home Depot, reported the damage the next day, and yet was left to deal with the manufacturer on my own.Additionally, when I reach out to Jeld-Wen the wrong order was initially delivered, and I was told that a corrected version would arrive by February 13, 2025.February 24, 2025: I was informed that my order was under review for material and production capacity and would receive an order acknowledgment with a confirmed delivery date within three business days. I asked if the acknowledgment would include an installation date but received no response.February 27, 2025: I called and spoke with ***** from Jeld-Wen, who said the order was still pending and expected to arrive at the tech store by March 3, 2025. However, she could not provide an estimated installation date. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told they were unavailable, and the call was eventually disconnected.March 18, 2025: The technician attempted to install the replacement, but the measurements were incorrect once again. This is extremely frustrating, as this is a custom-made door, and the company has had the correct measurements multiple timesyet the issue *********** this point, I dont know what else to say. The previous technician who performed the replacement took new measurements, yet the order is still incorrect. I am deeply frustrated and concerned about when this will actually be fixed. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY AND DEFINITELY NOT REFER TO ANYONE.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered paver blocks - took 2 weeks to get to me- When they did arrive it was for a customer in ******** - I called immediately to let them know- I was on the phone for over an hour- I was told the wrong ordered would be picked up in 3-5 business days and my order would arrive by 3/20 on This was after he told me I would have to reach out to they **************** myself and figure out where my order is- 3-18 I was told they have set of the return and my ordered was refunded and I would need to reorder and ***ay again - since my refund would be 7-14 business days- They would have to have payment- I was told by there employee that they block would be delivered and the wrong ordered would be picked up- Which is the total opposite of what i was told- Case number ********- the *** i spoke with said that the *** advised me I could wait til 3/20 to see if the order would show up- that is not what he said!!!!The Home Depot

1 starBought a bathroom vanity from home depot and the first one that came in was slice down the middleno other day countertop Which put a delay on the construction of my bathroom And why should the time of my contractor. When I wanted to return it because it was delivered they wouldn't pick it up. So my contractor had to take it back and when he did they Financially Refunded the wrong product. So between working and trying to get to home depot I managed the refund Issue straightened out and had to wait until the refund(s) cleared before Reordering a new Vanity. ?? After waiting for my Refund for another week, I ordered the 2nd vanity and it came in almost completely broken in half according to my Contractor. Now he has again wasted his time and my time having to go through the Refund process all over again. I can't again use my bathroom because of the incompetence of Home Depot to deliver a quality product!! ????????The Home Depot

1 starThe worst company ever.Poor customer ********************** horrible delivery drivers No help and the appliance is not good. I called and paid for installation the delivery said I didnt pay. Customer ********************** confirms payment. Delivery driver drives off the worst experience ever and still no installation. Please shut them downThe Home Depot
