1 starHOME DEPOT IS GOING DOWN THE WORST THINK TO DO IS ORDER FROM HOME DEPOT NO SERVICE NO COSTUMER SERVICE ***** WE HEVE OTHER CHOICES LIKE LOWES PC ******* AND OTHER BUT HOME DEPOT I WILL BE SENDING EMAILS PHONE CALLS NO TO GET ANY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT POST ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA WHEN YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM MAKE SURE ITS TRUE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ALL LIES AND I MADE MISTAKE TO ORDER AGAIN NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HOME DEPOT PLEASE MAKE SURE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING IS TRUE FROM EMPLOYERS TO SUPERVISOR TO MANAGER NOTHING HELP THEY ARE SO RUDE IM MAD AS H*** ON THIS STUPID HOME DEPOT BUT WILL NOT STAND HERE GOING TO PLAN B AND ORDER WILL BE CANCELED SISTER ORDER WILL BE CANCELED TOO BIG DISLIKE HOME DEPOT GARBAGE STOREThe Home Depot

2 stars*******************. ********. Used them through Home Depot Installation . Extensive work to bring to code (rental home), but overpriced! $2,750!! And LIED about a HD discount offer. And ESPECIALLY one for 2 year interest free financing on my credit card! Charged more than estimate. Demanded payment up front. Refuses to provide itemized bill!? ??Also. Don't use Home Depot Installation. Get your own financing. Then carefully review. Never pay upfront. Get details on paper. Dang. I knew better. Talk about a red flag.The Home Depot

1 starWe purchased a pair of garage doors on 11/21/2021 for installation some time later. We were required to pay in advance of installation for the entire cost of doors and installation. We were scheduled for installation in April 5, 2022. The installer visited our prior to the April installation measure and determine the mounting hardware. At installation time the wrong garage door tracks were sent with the contractor performing the installation. This was discovered after our original doors had already been removed. The installer determined that he could not complete the installation. The installer called Home Depot while still on site to correct this issue and reorder the correct tracks, and left the site with the installation half done. One door installed in a track the was inoperable and unable to open, and no door on the other opening leaving the garage unsecured and open. This has been the state of the installation since April. Repeated calls to Home Depot have not be able to correct this situation, and many time after talking with many managers and the stores expeditor promises for follow up calls that were never returned in a timely manner or at all. When I was able to get a new scheduled visit for installation for 9/21/2021 the same result as the previous occurred. The wrong tracks were sent a second time. After calling Home Depot and speaking with a manager again I have not heard back from Home Depot about a new installation, and the manager who promised a call back that day with a status has not called back in the past week. I have spent five months trying to resolve this installation with Home Depot, and I do not see a resolution in site. I have not been contacted with a new schedule and apparently they do not seem concerned with completing this job. Repeated attempts to get this resolved have been fruitless. In the mean time my home has been left unsecured for the past five months. If I could give them a zero rating I would.The Home Depot

1 starWe ordered an over-the-range microwave from the ********, **, HOme depot and paid extra for installation, and haul-away of the old one on Oct.4, 2022. The delivery was to an unoccupied rental condo for which the delivery drivers were given a property management telephone number to call to obtain access. The boxed microwave was delivered and left in the condo - there was no installation of the new one and no haul-away of the old one.The excuse given by Home Depot was that the property manager that let them in had left and they require such a person present during the installation, etc. No one told us this requirement in advance. Also, why didn't they call back the property management number they were given to get someone from there back to the condo? (The property manager is only two blocks away from the condo).At least the installation and haul-away fees were refunded but this is some of the worst customer ********************** we have ever experienced. Home Depot lamely said that their contract with the delivery service in question runs out soon and that that delivery service would not be given another contract.The ********, **, Home Depot should investigate the delivery people they contract with more fully and write their contracts so that their requirements are very clear. They should also inform customers of the requirement that the property owner or representative be present during installation of an appliance.The Home Depot

1 star~BUYER BEWARE~If you plan on ordering any type of major appliance from Home Depot, I implore you to reconsider. On July 28th, I ordered a nearly $1,000 Frigidaire upright freezer with an additional 5 year warranty. It was delivered on August 5th. It stopped working on August 17th. Frigidaire scheduled a technician to evaluate the freezer on September 7th. Upon evaluation, the technician confirmed that it could NOT be repaired and ********** agreed at that time to replace it. The technician told me that Frigidaire would call me within 3-5 business days to schedule delivery. They didn't. So I called them, and they informed me that ********** would actually call me within **** business days not 3-5. So I waited, and waited. I gave them a total of 18 business days from the date of the repair service and still never heard from them. In the meantime, I was in contact with Home Depot multiple times regarding this situation. I chatted with several customer ********************** reps, as well as, a supervisor. They assured me they'd be monitoring the situation to get it resolved. Yesterday, I contacted Frigidaire again about scheduling delivery. After being transferred around, on hold for a long period of time, and having to explain this long story for the millionth time, the customer ********************** rep told me that they approved the replacement on September 14th, but that it was *MY* responsibility to call Home Depot with a *** and RGA# (that they never provided me with, nor informed me of) to schedule delivery. They gave me a ***, which I find out later is the *** for the ORIGINAL order, not the replacement so Home Depot cannot schedule delivery based on that. Both Home Depot and Frigidaire keep making me go back and forth between the two and NEITHER of them are taking responsibility or initiative to resolve this situation. This is unacceptable! I have been more than patient and accommodating for THEIR ERROR, and it's been over 6 weeks and I still don't have a working freezer.The Home Depot

1 starI would give 0 stars if I could. We wanted carpet installed. Home Depot sent over a rep to measure and that rep mentioned there might be asbestos tiling in an area that needed carpeting and Home Depot might not install. When we later got the quote, there was no mention of asbestos, the possibility of now install, or anything like that - Home Depot confirmed a full install. We paid for the carpet. The day of installation comes and the installers refuse because of the tiles. Home Depot says we either need to test for asbestos or the tiles need to be removed. We remove the tiles and now Home Depot says they won't install until a certified *** says there's no asbestos. So now we have to hire a whole new company to confirm that there's nothing there. There's nothing left to test since there's no tiles left. However, Home Depot still won't install and won't give us our money back. I understand the dangers of asbestos. However, Home Depot shouldn't have confirmed carpet installation/quote if they knew they wouldn't install or that there was a possibility of no install. They can't even keep up with their own notes. After the installers refused to put in the carpet, we got a phone call from Home Depot saying they were finally sending someone to take measurements... we already had someone come and measure - that's how we were charged in the first place.It takes at least 30 min to try and get someone on the phone every time and each person is more clueless than the last. The ****************************** location is terrible. DO NOT GO TO THE ****************************** location in *******. They have the most minimal knowledge and terrible customer **********************/problem solving skills.The Home Depot

1 starWe bought a Frigidaire freezer from Home Depot plus a 5 year warranty. It stopped working after 6 months. Repair person came out and then never came back. ********** said the freezer was used so the warranty is no good. Home Depot says it is past 90 days so too bad - it's a free market. So yes it is. I will now shop anywhere but Home Depot. And I am hoping all the posts I am writing will help them lose way more than the amount they would have spent to give us our money back. All the time we spent on the phone. Thanks for reminding me they are the big guys and can treat us all like nothing.The Home Depot
