5 starsI purchased a double sink vanity in July 8, 2022. When it was delivered it seems strange that the box looked crumbled but I thought nothing of it. I used my dolly to put the merchandise in my shed until the repairs for the bathroom was complete. I never opened the box until I was ready to place it inside my home. When opening the box the top of the vanity was damaged and the side piece was also damaged. You may ask why I didn't open the box sooner, well I would have had them to open it before it left the truck but I wasn't home and the vanity came before the estimated date. However, I reached Home Depot in August to report the damages. They reimbursed me for that vanity and reordered another vanity. It was estimated to be delivered on October 19. I never got the vanity and no one at customer care can find it. I've been calling them for the past 15 days. Each time I call them I get the same response from each person. It's always a case number and someone will reach out to you in 24 hour, not so. So it's been 3+ months since I ordered this vanity, still haven't received the vanity and no attempt to give me my money back. They are saying that they are investigating the issue. Why are they not responding back with better options seems unreal. It was very difficult to find a vanity in the size that I needed and also for the price. I'm very stress with this situation! This is too much and I will never order from Home Depot online again!The Home Depot

1 starWe purchased a ******* kitchen appliance bundle on October 19 of this year from ****************** and had a very wonderful experience with Shaista, their appliance specialist. Very helpful, courteous, and professional woman. Delivery was scheduled for today with an automated message from yesterday (10/24/22) stating that we will be contacted 30 minutes prior to their arrival and that the delivery window period would be between 0700-1100. Delivery day comes and we get a VM saying that the delivery team are outside and will wait 15minutes. We come outside not even 10 minutes later only to find no delivery truck. We call back the number and get the information that they have left and will be rescheduled for next Tuesday.We get that they are busy and their time is valuable but our time is equally as important. Just as they have jobs, we have jobs. We took time off from work to make sure we were here for the delivery come to find out we have to take time off again because their delivery dates are limited. Don't have someone call when you are already outside when you specifically state you will call 30 minutes prior to your arrival. You only come without "warning" if your delivery date is specific (i.e., we will come by ****, etc). You call ahead of time for window periods like what you have so we know to expect you. Not everyone live in houses where you can easily peek through your window to see a delivery truck. We live in a large multi-unit condominium with multiple entrances/exits and we were scrambling to make sure that they were not at other areas. We called customer ********************** but of course there was nothing they can do at this point but have us wait for the next delivery date. **** from customer ********************** was more than helpful and understanding regarding our frustration with this botched delivery. But issues like this are preventable if they would just call 30 minutes prior like they said they would. Here's to hoping they do just that next time out.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot - my experience with them was the most disappointing. Never ever am I going to shop with them again. I placed a order on September 22nd for a dishwasher which was in stock apparently and the delivery was scheduled for October 1st between the hours of 12pm to 4pm. Waited all day but not a call or message to update for the delivery. At 6pm after I called and was out on hold for nearly an hour they say they cannot deliver. Really ??? For no reason. Called back to reschedule and nothing till October 14th. Again the day of delivery we get an email to reschedule. Reschedule to October 18th. Called up the day before to confirm if the delivery was coming in. I was assured by the Rep that there was delivery coming in and we were #** on the list. Again in the day off delivery we get another email to reschedule. Enough of the cats and mice chase. We cancelled the order. To get a refund we have now being pushed around to different phone reps, visits to the store and no refund yet till the manufacturer approves??The Home Depot

5 starsI purchased a refrigerator and a dishwasher as a gift for my daughter I paid for the installation and I paid for disposal of the third-party contractor came in and requested more money on top of Home Depot itself he wanted an additional $450 to add to shut off valves when it wasnt needed he also begin to say that it was mandatory by the county of Prince ******* and ******** it didnt sit right with me so I called the county myself and they told me it was not mandatory because it was a swap all of the things that they required if it was new construction they would have to implement those things this is all construction you just replace was needed no further the counties not involved no permits I needed to change a dishwasher ************************* the manager at Home Depot in ********** ******** he sent his personal friends over there which were Latino as well and they tried to charge an additional $450 at this point Im very angry so now nobody is not going to make any money I returned all the items Ive been a customer with Home ********************** for sometime and Ive never had a problem like this price gouging and a representative giving kickback from his friends who he says to fix things and make money off of the customers direct from Home Depot ************************** told me the customer he supports the plumbers not the customer so I was wrong the plumber was right I have the proof from the county he heard to tape and he said he still supports the plumbers well you guys stick together and its proven fact so now guess what you have lost the sale on the dishwasher and refrigerator so continue to price ***** and I hope you get fired bad businessThe Home Depot

1 starI ordered a refrigerator and took an unpaid day off to receive it. I got updated delivery time up to half hour before the delivery window ended. I then got a call from home depot saying they would not be able to deliver. The excuse was that the truck was stopped by the police in my town. I asked them to leave it at the store and I would pick it up myself. I was told the truck was 1 hour away. My entire town takes 10 minutes to drive through. Then I told them I would get the item from the truck with my own vehicle. They refused to accommodate me. My only option was to reschedule the delivery and take another unpaid day off. I cannot afford that. That would triple my cost. I asked for a refund and canceled the order. Unfortunately, I had to haggle with the manager on duty and now must wait for 72 hours for the refund. I was told that this is the way Home Depot does business. My business would be done with a more customer friendly company from now on.The Home Depot

2 starsPurchased 0 turn lawn mower at around $3700.00 on line. Got email ready for pick up, got there and employee couldnt find were puller said they put it. Finally got ahold of mower department said theres one out front ready to go. Now after a long wait they finally found the key. Went to get to load on my trailer wouldnt start. They now said give us a few minutes well work on it and get it going.talking to lawn floor person I said your inventory shows 2 out back I really dont want to buy one that needs working on before it leaves Home Depot yard. He said let me go check and came back NO NO they wont sell me one of them and I said whats NO NO mean and she just stood there looking dumb found, so I went to service desk and told them to take off my account they can keep it. Its good there is a lowes right across the street that also sells mowers. Being a customer for years this really pushing me away.The Home Depot

1 starBought all my appliances at ****** except for the stove. Ended up returning the stove after failed attempts were made to replace a faulty stove top. They approved the return after the replacements kept arriving damaged. This was in June-July, ******************************** my house and it's almost November. I'm still getting a credit card bill. Home depot tells us to deal with the vendor. Vendor says they are waiting on Home Depot before they can pick up the stove. Credit card company doesn't care, they want their money. I need this fixed.The Home Depot

1 starI've never seen a company with such really horrible customer **********************. I'd give them NO stars if that was possible. My story: I ordered a refrigerator on Oct. 15, advertised with a promised delivery of Oct. 22. We were given a window of 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., not great, but there it is. By 6 p.m. we hadn't heard a word from the company, so I called. They canceled the delivery without bothering to tell us, and then pushed it back to Oct. 31. The employees were beyond rude; I think one of them may have moved the delivery to the 31st as revenge (that's how bad it was). This company cannot be trusted and their employees are just flat out liars.The Home Depot

1 starMy delivery was supposed to be done on October 24th. We get a call at 10:52 from their delivery service with 30 min window notice. I was at work nearby and made it here before the 30 min window expired. Not only the delivery guy was rude to me when I called him to confirm but he also cancelled delivery at 11:15, well short of 30 min window. Will never shop again at Home Depot especially not the appliances. Lowes has better service.The Home Depot

1 starI bought a refrigerator (7/20) and once it was delivered to us (7/23). We didn't like it. My wife went to Home Depot on 7/26 to ask for store credit in order to buy another one. She went to the lady that sold us the fridge and she referred her to the manager. The manager refused to do anything for us. Which forced us to go to ****** to purchase a second one. Until this day I have the original fridge from Home Depot in my living room.The Home Depot
