1 starKitchen pantry installation. Design was done and signed off on. Expected ETA was 14 weeks. 20 weeks later the installers show up - destroyed the walls. There was no care in pulling out the wire racking, they just yanked on it. We needed to actually repair not small patch over the drywall. The design team measured 3 times, apparently that wasn't enough as the unit didn't fit. The installers left the rest of the pantry in pieces and left. Designer came back 2 weeks later and we were told our corrections would be put on a rush as our house was now strewn about with pantry items and construction materials. Slow forward 12 more weeks and the installers still didn't have all of the shelves and were missing the baseboard. Now Home Depot is staying that the project will stay incomplete because they sold us something they don't actually make. We can leave the project unfinished or they will come back and rip it out. I am thoroughly disgusted with this experience and would not let anyone I know use them again. Stay away!!!The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot is the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer. I ordered a washer dryer from them and 3 times it came damaged. They are impossible to get on the phone and when you finally do, all they do is apologize. I will NEVER deal with Home Depot again.The Home Depot

1 starDo not buy anything from Home Depot. I bought some window shades from Home Depot about a year and a half ago. The motor broke. I called Home Depot to have them repaired. I was told that they don't keep purchases in their computer systems longer than a a year and a half. They told me I need to contact the manufacturer but they can't find my order so they don't know the manufacturer. Now I have some window blinds that I can't get repaired. If I buy some thing from Lowes or ****** or ******** they will make it right. I cannot believe that they don't keep orders in their system that are older than a year and a half. When I told them that ****** or ******* would help me out, They said that they are not Costo or Walmarart. This is a bad compay to deal with.The Home Depot

1 starWe have ordered shade in May 2022, they have been installed wrongly and there were some issues with the dimension of the shade that were noticeduring the installationon September 2022.It's end of November 2022 and we still doesn't have any update on what going on, or when we will get the replacement for the shade with wrong dimension and a correct installation done for the shade that have been wrongly installed (all of them!). We were supposed to have everything fixed within a month and it's been almost 3 now.The Home Depot

1 starWe bought a refrigerator from Home Depot and was told it would be delivered within 5 days. Eight days later it still had not arrived. I was told by one manager that it's not Home Depot's problem, rather that of the shipping company they use. Another manager said Home Depot is not responsible for whether or not their customers receive the products they purchase through them. Needless to say, we cancelled our order, purchased a refrigerator elsewhere, and will never shop at Home Depot again.The Home Depot

1 starWe ordered 2 refrigerators from Home Depot as they were listed as "in-stock" and scheduled delivery for the following week. We were told to expect a call or text approximately 30 minutes prior to delivery and a 4 hour delivery window. On the date of the scheduled delivery we recieved no call, no text - and when I called customer ********************** they informed me the truck had broken down. A new delivery date was scheduled 4 days later - and another 4 hour delivery window. On the 2nd delivery date again no call, no text and no explanation as to why we did not receive our order - and no idea when they might actually deliver. The customer ********************** agent told us they couldn't get their delivery contractor to even return a call or pick up when they inquired on the delivery status. What kind of customer ********************** is this? This is a mickey ***** company with ZERO regard for customer satisfaction and completely incompetent delivery service. My advice NEVER ever order anything for delivery from Home Depot - they clearly are not capable of meeting their commitments...pathetic. Zero stars from me...the review website required at least 1 star - undeserved.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot installation division mishandled our kitchen and bathroom cabinet install. We contracted with HDepot April 2022 and paid $65,000 for the job. It still has not been completed. When the cabinet parts came with the installers there were several pieces missing. The installer made a detail list which was delivered to HD and they reordered the missing pieces. Yesterday 11/19/2023 the installer came with the reordered cabinet parts and most of the parts were still missing. Our liaison HD employee assured us that our kitchen and B/Rs would be completed by Thanksgiving. Now we are looking at next year. If only the reorder could have been reviewed prior to be sent out. If only the quality control employee could have audited the packing list when the parts came in. I am incredibly disappointed in lack of attention given to the detail on our job. I have no complaint with the quality of the work by their subcontractors. Detail after the sale rates one star.The Home Depot

1 starIt looks like I'm not the only person having problems with Home Depot and their unethical business practices. They are more than happy to sell you appliances that they don't even have in stock. Their whole hope is to sell you a product and hope the manufacture can get it to them and then you before the customer has knowledge. The truth is they ************************ have very little in stock and if there is a problem shipping from the factory, opps to bad for the customer. We purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher and on the sales agreement that the delivery date was Nov. 18th. We really need the refrigerator but bought the dishwasher also. On the evening of the 17th they notify us that it won't be delivered because they are waiting for the dishwasher and refuse to deliver the refrigerator until the dishwasher arrives. To bad for us because they don't care. So, they changed delivery date to Nov. 21st, then the next day change it to the 17th of Dec. Still don't care we are without what we need. Cancelled the dishwasher and even though they have it can't guarantee delivery within a week. Won't be having any dealings with them unless they make an effort to make things right for us. Be ready to wait a long time for ordered products. One more thing, they don't give veteran discounts on anything that has a high price on it. My point is they don't really care about veterans either.The Home Depot
