2 starsMade my first ever large purchase from the Home Depot..spent $6,300 on appliances. I ordered a washer and set to be stacked on pedestals. The men that showed up did NOT know how to install them. So they tell me they will arrange for another technician to come. They did not, however, arrange another technician.I had to keep calling and getting transferred to finally get someone that could help me. Not only did they not give me a timely appointment, but yet another day I had to take off of work to sit at home waiting. Does the Home Depot think this is a game? This is actual peoples lives you are messing with.people with jobs and responsibilities. It is OUTRAGEOUS that you would send someone to do an installation FOR WHICH I PAID that does not know how to execute. Shame on you. The only reason I gave you 2 stars is because you extend your military discount to veterans. But guess what?..so does Lowes. Which is where my next purchase will be.The Home Depot

1 starFalse advertising at all times to mislead consumer purchases. Bought an appliance package with quoted expected delivery of Dec 12th. After paying and getting confirmation email i was told delivery would be February 13th. 2 month difference for delivery? They do not list backorder items as such to influence you to buy thus limiting ability to choose form other products that *** be in stock. It's 2022 I'm sure they could have a better inventory system allowing the customer more choice. If they are doing this knowingly it is illegal and more than deceiving. Not first order I will be canceling but will be my last as I will NEVER shop here again.Review fromwendy d

1 stari am a house flipper and have to have reliable contractors and suppliers. ** in ********** **. the sales associate in countertops sold me a product that was not even in stock. i used the ** installers program ************, home depot never contacted me to give me the infor until repeated calls and messages left by me. it has been months and i am still waiting to for ************ to even receive material to fabricate my solid surface countertops. ** did not tell me it was not a local company. i told the ** Sales associate that i was trying to close on a house and had to know this would be a timely process because i was on a time crunch. she was more interested in making this sale than being honest about the process, or providing me correct info. i would never use this service again. i am beyond disgusted. i have been waiting for months and still no results because ** selling me a product that was not available. i am in contact with ********************** but never any conclusive information. i have paid months in advance for a product i am wondering if i will ever get. my home closing cant be completed because an inspection has to be completed and this can not be accomplished until the kitchen counters and sink plumbing are installed. absolutely disgusted with **.The Home Depot

1 starOrdering on-line at Home depot has been hit or miss for me. One order was recently cancelled with no explanation given. I then went to my local HD store and found that the item was on their shelf. A second order I placed was scheduled and then delayed 4 days in a row even though their status said it had been received by the locale delivery facility. I am done ordering anything online from Home Depot, they are just too unreliable.The Home Depot

1 starWow home Depot, Really? Put out all these big sales for Black Friday then just rip people off? I purchased a special they had for a light and a drill roughly $350. Money was taken out of my account. The delivery date came and no package shows when I call they give me some story about my business ATM card does not match my home address.....Duhh, it's not supposed to. So they claimed they had to cancel my order for this reason....ok, wheres my money then? Oh it will be back in your account in 3 to 5 days. It's already been 4. A week passes and still no money returned to my account, Home Depot blames my bank so I call my bank and nope. Home Depot has not released my funds to be transferred back into my account. Why is this? Why would they just take people money if they're not going to give them what they ordered.The Home Depot

1 starI purchased 7 kitchen cabinets from HD **************** for promised delivery 11/9, kept tracking and visiting the store. Finally, it was determined that 6 were and still are lost!!!!!Prior to learning of the lost cabinets, I took delivery of a Fridge, Oven, Dishwasher and Microwave to the tune of $4475.18 from HD *********************.Without the cabinets, the appliances are of no use!!!!!!!The assistant manager in ********************, WILL NOT take appliances back, says I had 48 hours to report any damage.Well, there was none, just Home Depot setting me back thousands and months in time.I will not pay $4475.18, my bill, that is my policyThe Home Depot

1 starNEVER let Home Depot do an appliance installation for you- it's worth getting your own plumber/electrician than waste your time and money with them. I tried having a dishwasher installed by them and cannot describe their grotesque incompetence that I witnessed. Let's just say the unit dramatically short circuited immediately from faulty wiring that could have caused a fire. On top of it all, I lost three days of work and many many hours on the phone waiting for them to show up and when they would, they were always forgetting some part. Once, they forgot the entire dishwasher. I finally just ordered from another company.TOTAL NIGHTMARE.The Home Depot

1 starAbsolutely horrible when it comes to customer **********************. They don't answer the phone. U have to go in. They just stick ur info anywhere & leave you to straighten everything out urself!!!! I'm trying to get a toilet installed but they scheduled me for a bathroom remodel project! Told me someone would call in 2 or 3 hours which I found out is wrong. It takes 24 - 48 hrs. Sad!The Home Depot

1 starI considered a complaint, but am settling for now for a review. Once the transaction has been completed a complaint may be required. I ordered a couch 36 hours ago and tried to cancel it. I was told it had shipped, even though the website showed the carrier had not received the item. This is contradictory - complaint one. I was told they price-matched. I found the same item at 200 dollars less same couch - same dimensions, same maker, but was told by customer ********************** that if it's not the same store sku# then it doesn't count. If the stores are giving unique sku's to their sale items, then how would price matching ever occur? Unless it's between their own stores - it wouldn't. This is a false flag and false advertising. I'm highly disappointed and inconvenienced by Home Depot's actions in this purchase - they have lost a customer. I expect more thoughtful ********************** and fewer tricks when shopping online or in the store. The couch they couldn't possibly cancel arrives in a week and I'm supposed to refuse the item in order to get a refund which I was told would be processed in 5-7 days. If this does not go seamlessly, I will be back to file a complaint, I relied on the website to fully inform me about my purchases and my choices - it did not. In fact it mislead me with regard to my rights as a customer.The Home Depot

1 starDO NOT APPLY FOR A HOME DEPOT PROJECT LOAN ONLINE. Do it in person. What they don't tell you until AFTER your ********************** report is pulled, AFTER you are approved, and have the INSTALLMENT LOAN AGREEMENT in hand, is that you can only access $500 of your max ********************** line until 7 days have passed. And that is to the MINUTE of your approval (i.e. 1:32PM EST in our case), not the application. So if they need additional verification of something, CALL them asap. We waited 2 days because the message said "we will call you shortly for further verification." This policy just screwed us out of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and 20% off a display model closeouts in-store. AND since we can't buy plywood and drywall, etc. , our contractor is RESCHEDULING us 3 weeks out.Sid W.

I should point out that if you apply in person you won't have to wait 7 days to use it. They told us the only way around this is to close our new loan account and reapply in store. But we can't close it until the $500 we spent yesterday has been applied. And we probably need to pay it off so it won't affect the new credit line.The Home Depot
