1 starPaid for *************** delivery & install. They never delivered. Called customer ***************************** said I had to go to store to get refund. Went to store 2 days after delivery date & they refused to refund my money because ************** were not returned by delivery company. Store could not tell me how long I have to wait because there is no policy for the delivery company. Thats stealing! DONT BUY APPLIANCES WITH DELIVERY FROM HOME DEPOT! THEYRE THIEVES!The Home Depot

1 starDont order anything online if you need it in time. They ship with ***** which is a guarantee not to be delivered on time. Clearly, they do not care about their customers, and only about saving money on shipping.The Home Depot

1 starI bought a $300 Christmas tree from Home Depot last year. THIS YEAR IT DOESNT WORK AND THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THE TWO YEAR WARRANTY BECAUSE I DIDNT BUY IT ON A HOME DEPOT CREDIT CARD! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BOGUS COMPANY AGAIN!!!The Home Depot

1 starI went to home depot to get a special order screen door glass for a door I ordered, I went in store to place order on 10/10/2022 at 930am and paid over ****** out of pocket and was told it would *********** weeks. I called door to see if glass was in ,headed to store to get door. However I went to store and was asked did I have a tax number I could use I gave the employee the number I was given by church I did janitor work for and was given the number by decon that was in charge of department anyway I gave to employee of home depot and explained to him at the time that I will be paying for door and picking up However when I arrived with receipts after I had been told I could not get items without receipts so I went home 45 min away to return and be informed by the supervisor that told me to bring receipts that I now could not receive the glass window that I purchased. The employee that put this order in did not put my name on order as he had me thinking he did but if camera are reviewed on the 10/10/2022 at 930am it will clearly be seen that I paid for the door and the employee did not enter correct information so now I am told I just lose over ****** dollars for the order I have never experienced anything as I am a senior citizen and have been a customer for home ********************** for a long time.Review fromkenneth m

3 starsYou're got some sorry people working for you. I seem to run into the "FUNNY ACTING " EMPLOYEES" in this store. I just spent $1500.00 with you and I come in to pick up what I thought was a headboard and several other items turned out to be just one small item. The female that was working at the counter acted like it was a real pain in her a** to wait on me and my son. 1 starIf I could give them a negative number of stars, I would. Home Depot has lost a customer for life. My wife and I purchased a refrigerator and washer/dryer on 11/12/22. We spent $4728. The earliest delivery date was 12/1/22. Today is 12/1/22 and I had received a text notification yesterday that my order would be delivered today between 10am-2pm. When the didn't show by 2pm, I called Customer ********************** and found out the delivery was delayed, but would still arrive today. I called again at 4pm and was told that there were still 4 more deliveries ahead of me. How can that be when I was originally given a time window of 10am-2pm? While on the phone with the Customer ********************** Rep, she told me that her system updated and they had to cancel today's delivery. I could not believe my ears. She could not make any accommodation for me and was only able to reschedule the delivery. The earliest date available was 12/14/22. This means we will have waited more than a month for our order. I would not recommend buying from Home Depot.Review fromKat O.

1 starExterior Door Purchase Nightmare: Purchased special order exterior door early October with install date of 11/10. Service rep ordered door to be shipped to our home. Door delivered 11/7. Called store on 11/10, no record of install date. Told by door rep receiving an install appointment and order shipped to home by service rep was not the process. Received a new install date of 11/30. Called complaint line who assured me I would hear back from someone from the management team. Never contacted by management team. On the day of install on 11/30, I got a call later that morning from the installer scheduler to be told that my door would not be installed again today because it was too cold. This time of year, in *******, is generally going to be cold, that should be expected. The installer scheduler indicated that this is their policy and that doors are not installed when the temperature is under 25 degrees. And that I should have been told this. I was never told that a door could not be installed when the temperature is under 25 degrees and nowhere on any paperwork or email is this mentioned. I was told someone else would call me back to schedule another appointment. I received a call later that evening to be told that the earliest that they could get the door installed is now 12/15. You mean 12/15 when there may be snow on the ground and the temperatures are most likely to be under 25 degrees. What a joke. All I know is that I have a door that I paid for, to include all the cost of materials needed to install the door and the installation labor charges. However, no door has been installed. Customer ********************** and lack of professionalism is below average here. I have been misled and have wasted so much time, money and resources on a product and service of nearly $4000.00 from Home Depot that does not live up to its promise. Buyers Beware!Review fromAmy B

1 starI ordered a washer and dryer--was called by HD the night prior to delivery saying the delivery person would call 30 minutes before they came to my house. I work about 10 minutes away and was going to come home for the delivery. No phone call (seriously NOTHING in missed calls on my cell all day) but received an email saying they came to my house and since I wasn't there they left. I called HD and the next delivery avail was in TWO WEEKS. I asked to speak to someone to escalate and she gave me their ***** number. I told her this was unacceptable and cancelled my order--honestly the customer ********************** rep did not even care. I'm sure HD won't miss my $1600 but I was not going to buy anything from them (and will not do so in the future). D- Home Depot--shame on you.Review fromTLFal

1 starI've been a Home Depot customer for 20+ years. Have always had positive experiences. Until now. ***** surge from Hurricane *** destroyed everything in our house. Everything inside is gone - down to the studs. Thankfully, it's structurally sound and we can make the repairs needed to get back to pre-Ian ********** status. We were excited to order new kitchen cabinets from Home Depot. And then everything turned to c*** 8 of 12 cabinets were delivered without advance notice 4 weeks ago. The terrible shipment tracking system claimed we received 9, but we didn't. We had no way of really knowing when the remaining cabinets would arrive. Important because we can't live in our house yet and are rented off-the-island. So, cabinets would get delivered one at a time and be sitting outside at risk of being stolen or mistaken for rubbish for the city to take away. After nearly 4 weeks of this, including at least 5 calls/email threads with Home Depot and shipping vendor service - that solved nothing and were very frustrating, we are left with 11 of 12 cabinets. And, just for extra fun - the 12th cabinet which they claim we received (which feels to me like an accusation that we are lying - which makes no sense whatsoever) is a pivotal corner, Lazy ***** base cabinet - a cornerstone of the kitchen. Even worse - it's now out of stock and Home Depot can/will do absolutely NOTHING to help us find one in another part of the country so that we can move ahead with putting our lives back together. This has been so stressful and exhausting on top of an already stressful and exhausting situation we're dealing with - like so many others. I'm deeply disappointed, disillusioned, and don't want to EVER give them ANY of my business. But, we're stuck - no option but to repurchase the Lazy ***** whenever it may be back in stock. Meanwhile, trapped without a kitchen. This is TERRIBLE SERIVCE. We feel abandoned. I wish someone would care enough to really help. But they won't.Review fromLily G

1 starWe purchased a new refrigerator which is supposed to include installation. We were told we had to have a shut off valve with 6 feet of new refrigerator or the delivery person would not install the water and ice machine.There was already a water line and a shut off valve in the basement. We paid a plumber to install a new line and shut off valve.The delivery men refused to put the handles on the refrigerator door and refused to hook up the refrigerator. They dropped the refrigerator just inside the front door. They didnt want the refrigerator inspected for dents and didnt care if it worked. My husband is severely handicapped. We could not move the refrigerator to the kitchen nor could we install the ice maker and filter. A friend and his son helped us. We are very angry that this happened. If we did not have a capable friend we would have been ***.Home depot is responsible for the delivery of the appliances it sells. They should investigate whether the employees are doing more than dropping the appliance inside the door without handles put on and that the appliance is installed.The Home Depot
