1 starI paid for a washing machine, including delivery and removal of old appliance. The item was promised for delivery on December 7th, 2022. I was told that I would receive a phone call the night prior to let me know what time to expect said delivery. The night prior, I received a text message stating that I needed to be home between 3 and 7pm on December 8th (next day). No one showed up for the delivery. I was unable to wash my work uniform that night and unable to attend work the next day (today), due to Home Depot not following through on what was promised. I am missing out on a day of pay, as well as now being asked to reschedule for December 12th. I will be out of town (and not even confident that they would show up). When I asked Home Depot how it was they did not know the item would be unavailable until the same-day, they (Al in appliance customer *********************** stated they knew ahead of time - another agent (****** in "Resolutions") stated they did not know and that communication between Home Depot and their vendor/delivery service often experienced issues. Home Depot stated that they sent an e-mail the day prior. Customer are told to check their phones for updates (not e-mail). Additionally, the text message I received stating I needed to be home on the night of December 7th was sent (by Home Depot) hours after the alleged e-mails stating the item would need to be rescheduled. This is entirely unacceptable and could have been avoided if Home Depot wasn't so disorganized. Their company issue just cost me time and money. I would have purchased this product at ****** (scheduling deliveries for one day later and for less money overall) had I known. If Home Depot cannot resolve this issue, I am now going to have to purchase this product for more money (the sales are no longer occurring) elsewhere. Consumers be warned. Customer ********************** agents are rude and do not care. This company is horribly unorganized and there is no accountability.The Home Depot

1 starmade purchases from Home Depo on 9-20-22. I recieved a bill and credit card in an incorrect name, unknown to me. I reported this and asked for a corrected bill. I recieved **** in my name with same account number as previously billed. I reported this and was sent a bill with different account number, but a late fee and interest was being charged. I disputed the late fees and interest. I was told charges would be waved. As to date, 12-2-22, I have not recieved a corrected bill. I have made numerous calls to ********** as they do billing for Home Depo. They promise to fix the issue but have not. In addition, someone has used my social security number in an attempt to open up a credit card. ********* has not resolved this problem as well. I am asking for your help so I can pay my bill, (correct bill) and get rid of Home Depo and *********. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, *************************The Home Depot

1 starWe are building a new home and have had the absolute worst experience with Home Depot as a whole. We used Home Depot a lot due to the convenience of it being 15 minutes down the road, so when we chose to make large purchases online we automatically chose HD to order from. After multiple horrible experiences, we now drive 45 minutes to Lowes and will only order from Lowes. First, we got our tub delivered to our new home & the delivery drivers backed into our new garage door and left. We contacted HD and they sent us in circles and basically told us there was nothing they could do. 4 months later, still no resolution and we are out 3k in repairs. Next, our vanity was delivered severely damaged. It looked like it was dropped off a cliff. When I called HD, I was told it must be in the box or they could not refund my money. A 72 inch, 400 lb vanity! When I asked if I had to go climb in our construction dumpster to get the cardboard out, I was told yes if I wanted a refund. When I asked for a replacement, it was no longer on sale and was told I had to pay the price it is now. After 2 hours on the phone, they "did me the favor" of allowing me to have it at the same price I paid for the first one I ordered. However, it would be 2 more weeks before we would receive it. We had our interest rate locked in and had to close in 2 weeks. I explained we would not pass inspection without this vanity and would lose our interest rate. Yet, I was not given a discount or any type of resolution other than being told I could pick it up from the store and rent a uhaul to pick it up. Of course, HD said they would not pay for the uhaul. I spent an hour peicing the cardboard back around the huge broken vanity. When the delivery team picked it up for the return, they scratched our NEW FLOORING! That is now more money that HD has cost us. Be ware, customer ********************** will say 100 times how they value their customers, but will do nothing to actually show and prove that they do!The Home Depot

1 starItem : Rheem Performance Plus 8.4 GPM *********** Indoor Tankless Water Heater Purchased : October 20, 2021.Amount : $1003.46 Returned : July 24, 2022 (Within 1 year warranty.)Reason : Failed to work properly. ***** could not find a local plumber willing to work on it.The Story:1.Ordered (Home Depot on-line. Paid with AMEX.) for the unit listed above.2.Received and installed the unit. Did a beautiful job. Photos available.3.Unit worked OK for about four months or so.4.Then unit started vibrating and hot water was limited to half a shower.5.Contacted Rheem several times but they were unable to find any plumber in Phoenix willing to work on the unit.6.Contacted Home Depot Customer ********************** and was told to take it to a local store for refund.7.Home Depot did not have a 40 gallon tank type water heater (short) sized to fit my home.8.Bought a short 40 gallon water heater at another store. (OK, Lowes.)9.Took the Wall Mount Tankless Water Heater off the wall, and installed the new tank-type heater. (About 2 hours.)10.Took the Wall Mount Tankless Water Heater to my local Home Depot for the promised refund.11.Home Depot refused to refund the purchase amount to my AMEX, and would only give me a $1003.46 Store Credit.The Problem:1.Im 79 years old and will not live long enough to spend $1003.46 at Home Depot.The Request:1.Find a way to credit the remaining balance of $936.89 back to my AMEX card.2.Or, find a way to convert the $936.89 to 9, $100.00 Home Depot Gift Cards I can give to my kids for Christmas.Home Depot Store Manager and Home Depot Customer ********************** Rep refuse both requests 1 & 2, so they have my money and I will never get it back.Home Depot is now on my "Tell all my relatives, friends, and enemies, to avoid" list.The Home Depot

1 starWe recently ordered a dryer. When it arrived the door was not functioning properly and it was pointed out to the delivery driver. One of the delivery guys said it would start to function properly with use and did not take the item with them when they left. After several calls to home depot they advised they would send another team to pick up the dryer and issue a full refund. Once the dryer was picked up the refund was never issued and we had to spend hours upon hours on the phone dealing with corporate to have the issue resolved. We won't ever use home depot, definitely not for a big purchase. Disappointed with the entire process and will close out our credit line as soon as the full refund is applied.The Home Depot

1 starMy mother purchased a new GE stove in February and since November 1, she has not been able to use it. She was told explicitly by a GE service repair person to not turn on the stove because it has been wired completely wrong. It is December 4 and she still has no stove to use. I feel that either Home Depot or GE should replace the stove. She is very lucky this stove did not catch her house on fire dude to faulty wiring!! I would never recommend Home Depot ttany one die to their lack of customer **********************!The Home Depot

1 starWorst experience I have ever had buying appliances. I have spoken to at least 10 customer ********************** representatives regarding receiving a credit for the purchase and delivery of a dishwasher that could not be installed because my drains are in the basement and a refrigerator that was price matched with Lowes by selling me the wrong refrigerator. I had to purchase another refrigerator online and have the wrong one picked up. Even though I had confirmed delivery and pick up with them, the delivery people didnt know about it and didnt want to take it. Very rude. Every service person tells me a different thing about receiving credit and I still am out $722.00. I had to pay for a plumber to come install dishwasher because Home Depot couldnt do what they said they would. I have spent countless days and hours trying to get this resolved since 11/12/22. There was also a broken clip for one of the fridge shelves and they said I need to contact the manufacturer. No service or help from them. I will never make another purchase from this retailer.The Home Depot

1 starThis is a review of Home Depot's headquarters, not my local store which I love and have no issue with. In short, OnTrac is giving Home Depot a bad name.I ordered a 100-pack of HDX AAA batteries from Home Depot. They shipped it via OnTrac; I would happily include the tracking number but the BBB will not let me. OnTrac showed the package "DELIVERED" at 9:04p, 11/07/2022, "BEHIND GATE".This started a bunch of searching on my part for the package. After extensive searching, asking neighbors, etc., and not finding the package, I called Home Depot to report that I had not received it. With me on hold, Home Depot called OnTrac about the package. OnTrac "confirmed" to Home Depot that the package had been delivered. The Home Depot rep apologized and suggested that I file a credit card dispute.So I filed a credit card dispute. After many days, the credit card company came back and denied my dispute. Home Depot, as "proof" the package had been delivered, provided a screenshot of HOME DEPOT'S WEBSITE, showing the package status as "delivered". Well, Home Depot's website is simply linked to OnTrac; Home Depot showed the package as "delivered" because OnTrac showed it "delivered". Home Depot also unhelpfully included 6 pages of receipts and other irrelevant documentation that were not in dispute.Here's the kicker: OnTrac finally delivered the missing package to my house 12/2/2022 - TWENTY FIVE DAYS LATER. The driver said, and this is a direct quote, "I figured the package fell of the back of my truck, so I marked it Delivered. Later I found the package under my seat."Unbelievable. It cost me a lot of time and effort, and because I re-ordered the same batteries, I now have a 100-pack of AAAs that I cannot use. So, even more time and money will be wasted returning them. Home Depot should stop using OnTrac immediately.The Home Depot

1 starI went to buy an exterior door. I could not find the type of door I needed on the shelves with the correct swing. I found some with different swings. I walked around the doors and windows area for 20 mins and the one employee I saw was working with someone. I went to the main isle and stood there. Every single employee that came even close to me I asked for help. After another 20 mins and every employee telling me no, I went to customer ********************** to see if they could help. They looked up the door and said my size door with those options any swing were out of stock. I had just seen a few that had my size and options so I knew that wasnt accurate. They said to try another store. I went back to the door isle and the one woman there was still working with the same people. I stood back in the main isle and continued to ask employees for help. Eventually after I had been trying to get someone for an hour someone helped me but all he did was go down the isle and looked with me for 5 mins. He said I needed to talk to the lady that was still with the other people. After being in the store for an hour and a half just trying to buy a door I left. Its weird how a company that literally pays people to help customers, those employees decide to stop helping customers when the customer is trans. Canceling the $1100 oven I ordered online on Black Friday and Ill buy it at lowes.The Home Depot
