      If you are considering a Home Depot Delivery you need to know this. I hate to see anyone victimized by Home Depot Associates like my family was. The Delivery men sent to install my appliances were unprepared, unprofessional and stole my wife's wedding ring from my home. She was washing dishes and left it on the sink. The installers arrived unannounced even though prior notification of delivery time was promised and in the hustle forgot to put it on. She puts it in the same place, so we know it was there before the delivery and gone after. I have contacted the store and the **** No one can tell me who was in my home so I can have any chance of recovering the stolen property. I feel as though The Home Depot misrepresented the delivery process. I was led to believe this was a "Home Depot" Delivery. When in fact, the Home Depot outsources delivery to another company Which in turn contracts to an independent contractor. Since no one from the store or the Home Depot MDO can tell me what company delivered to my home its is apparent that the Home Depot has no knowledge or control over who the Home Depot sends into customer homes. This is very troubling and at the very least is criminally negligent behavior from the Home Depot. It seems reasonable to think that the Home Depot is unwittingly, through their own negligence, dispatching thieves, possibly even *** offenders into unsuspecting customer homes. I would suggest to any customer considering Home ********************** in Home services to not put your guard down. You do not know who is in your home or what they are capable of. The Home Depot apparently does not know either or apparently care.

      Home Depot has not done a thing to help during this ordeal. they obviously do not know who they send into the homes of their customers. They shirk responsibility by pawn it off to second and third level vendors. None of this is disclosed at the time of purchase by in store sales employees.

      Home Depot is self insured and use a third party company by the name of Sedgwick to handle theft and damage claims. I have called Sedgwick over 15 times and left messages. No one has called me back. I have received no communication from Sedgwick. It is obvious that Sedgwick is a ploy used to run consumers in a circle until they give up. This can be easily verified by similar stories documented on the internet.

      i made a good faith offer to Kelly Gentle at [email protected] Her response was to ignore me. I have been ghosted for nearly a month I was patient at the beginning. I understand bad employees exist. All I wanted in the beginning was to know the general area these employees live. I Never asked for names or any personal information past a zip code. This was so I could look for my property in nearby pawnshops. Home depot refused to help but I think it has to do more with the sad and simple fact that they do not care who they send into a customers home, The police investigator handling this case believes it is only a matter of time before they send a sex offender or worse into a customer home if it hasn't already happened. While I wish to be reimbursed for the stolen ring, or at least be taken seriously, my ultimate goal now is to document that Home Depot neither knows or cares who they send to victimize their customers. When something terrible eventually happens my experience will prove that they were aware of the situation and did nothing to resolve it While I still will get know compensation, Home depot will be shown to be the uncaring corporate monster that it is .

      Horrible experience! Run dont walk away. Their installers are shady they brought an open box appliance that clearly had been a return. First crew wanted to rip up my hardwood floor to install the dishwasher (??), sent another one who said they couldnt install hardwire and tried to extort money. Finally I had my own installer look at it and is doesnt work. Home Depot doesnt want to refund my money and pick up their junk. I bought a new appliance from Lowes.

      I purchased a washing machine in June and bought a 3 year protection planned (it was recommended by Home Depot) The total cost was over $1,100.00. My washing machine stopped working about 2 1/2 months ago. I have reached out to Home Depot NUMEROUS times! All they tell me is that they can't help me as this should be handled by ****** as the machine is only 3 months old. I have had 4 scheduled appointments for someone to come out to my house to repair...NOT once has anyone showed up! On top of this my husband can't troubleshoot as he has been hospitalized for over three months. I have begged and pleaded for someone to please help! I continue to get the same message. It has been escalated! I ask escalated to what as nothing nothing has been resolved! I have 4 kids at home and I have a fulltime job! I have spent well over ****** at the washeteria! I told the *** at Home Depot that I was going to pay someone to come pick it up and return for me. I was told they would not return the machine as it has been over 30 days.I have NEVER experienced this type of customer **********************. It's sad! I have a lot going on and I should not have to be dealing with this! I have missed work! **** on hour long wait times! and for what? It's sad! Needless to say I will never purchase another item from Home Depot!

      I purchased a dryer from Home Depot on 11/7/2022 (online) and had the delivery scheduled 11/19/2022 days from purchase, which was on a Saturday. They cancelled the delivery due to my delivery route being cancelled. The guy on the phone from the delivery place said it would be delivered the following Tuesday. I called Monday because I had not received a follow up email. The guy on the phone (customer *********************** said there was not a delivery scheduled, so he scheduled me one for a week later on 11/30/2022. I cancelled my order on 11/23/2022, but I had already paid for the dryer via PayPal, MY MISTAKE. They told me in the store that it would take a week to get my money refunded. Ten+ days passed, no refund.On 12/5/2022 I called the store and again requested a refund of my money as I cancelled the order they told me it was up to the people in the warehouse to scan my order and finish the cancellation of my order so that I could get my refund. They said then it should take a couple of days. On Thursday 12/8/2022 I went to the store to again request a refund. This time they said they expedited the request and that they do not know when I will get a refund. Today is 12/11/2022 and I have still not received my refund from Home Depot. This is a lot of money and I want my money Home Depot!I definitely will not ever be purchasing another thing from this store ever. ****** has got my business from this day forward.

      Last May I purchased a Karavan utility trailer from this store. As it is a vehicle, it must be registered with the State, and Home Depot sent in the necessary paperwork. I was told that a plate would be mailed to me after a few weeks. Several months went by and still no plate (I was out of town for an extended period). I called the State licensing office, which referred me to Tri-City Licensing. I contacted them and they said the plate had been mailed to the ************* store back in JUNE! I have been trying to get this store to do something about the missing plate for over FOUR MONTHS and I keep getting stonewalled. I left numerous telephone messages with the store manager that were not returned. Well, I FINALLY got thru to the manager who made it clear that they could do nothing about the missing plate, and that I would have to do this ON MY OWN and AT MY EXPENSE! The people at the store just keep passing the buck on to someone else.

      I bought a floor going to do the house floor and they could not find my old account gave me a new one and saved me 100 dollars, when I made 2 payments they added it to my old account and turned me in a credit agency and did not want to listen so I paid the floor off and they gave me a bad rating

      This was the worst online experience! Ordered compound miter saw with free stand online. Recieved saw but no stand. Service center online was extremely rude! Supposedly the stands are now sold out and thats it!!!! So much for hubby Christmas gift. So now he will have to sit saw on floor !! Ridiculous!! Not even offered any compensation of any kind, just oh well !! No more Home depot!!

      I would like to say something about the Home Depot Installation services. We contracted with Home Depot in May to have our kitchen redone. They said that they were backed up and would not be able to get to the project till September, which we agreed to. They indicated that it would take about a week on the project. On September 12 they started the project. The workmen they contract with are outstanding but the administrators at Installation services are terribly inefficient. They provide the supplies for the contractors and schedule the work. The contractors have never received all the materials they needed to complete the job. So we are now in December with kitchen drawers without glides sitting on the floor, our kitchen still in turmoil and no one can tell us when the job will be complete. The most frustrating part is that they leave you contact a number but when you call it no one answers. I have logged over 16 phone calls and have yet to receive a call back. I know that I will never use Home Depot again and would never recommend them. There was also a refund due us because a "blind corner" unit we wanted would not fit in our kitchen. We are still waiting for our refund.

      If your buying a gift card don't do it from here. They email it hour's later if you get it at all. Instead of sending the 50 .00 one I bought they charged me for two.They customer ********************** staff are worse. Don't shop here for gift cards

      I've purchased flooring throughout my home and all of my lighting for my current home through home depot. I purchased 5 Home Decorations Collections ceiling fans for my home (there is a larger and smaller version of it), one of which Home depot was out of stock of (44") so I purchased it through amazon. The light out of one of my overhead lights has stopped working after 23 days of use. I reached out to the customer ********************** on the owners manual and they refused to help because one of the lights were purchased at amazon. So in spending 700 dollars on their brands of lights they won't stand behind their product and offer assistance for a 20 dollar light. In nowhere in my purchase off of amazon does it say that it could void any product warranty. I reached out to the product information from the actual box. That's terrible customer **********************. I will be building a new home in **** and I can promise you not one finish will be purchased from Home Depot due to their terrible customer ********************** on something so small. I would hate to see what happens if something more expensive or on a larger scale is faulty.
