      This is the first time I have ever bought a stove, are a Refrigerator. at Home Depot What I got was not what I wanted. I wanted an ** with Ice in the door. I got an ** with ice in the bottom that I had to dig in the bottom. No Water, or ice on the top. I called HOME DEPOT BEFORE THEY DELIVERED. Right now I have to take off some of the charges they made.I will be back later

      Beware their credit card offers, they are late payment traps that can ruin your credit score. The clerk offered to sign me up for their credit card for a $20 off promotion. I did it and then forgot about it. I forgot I had to payoff the $13 remaining, so for two months late payment fees piled up and then a collector called me. I scrambled digging through my junk mailbox to find the Home Depot letter I forgot I got. I immediately paid it off, but my credit score has dropped 150+ points since then. Funny, I had no late payments for 7 years, but this $13 cost me immensely. Don't waste your time with their credit card or any promos, it can be a 150 point mistake. Don't sign up for any credit card that charges you before you actually have access to your account.

      I returned an item at The Home Depot at Golden Ring in *********. I did not have a receipt for the item but I had the gift card that the item was purchased with. When I presented the original gift card the cashier advised me that I could not return an item without the receipt even though I had the gift card that I used to purchase because "people" like to steal items and get gift cards. I explained to the cashier that I did not steal the wood plank I merely wanted to exchange it for the correct width. Then she responded that I should always keep my receipt so people will know that I'm not stealing. The cashier's comments were very disrespectful and discriminatory. Even when I presented my driver's license to her she continued to speak of all the thefts they have and how "every time she turns around people be stealing." The conversation was not appropriate to have with a customer. If she has issues with theft she needs to have meeting with LP and store management. Again, when I explained to her that I did not steal anything she responded with a sign of disbelief. Many of the cashiers that I have encountered have been rude and uneager to assist customers. I am totally dissatisfied with the level of service that I receive at this location as well. I wish they would attend a training on gold star service,

      *************** was working the customer ********************** desk on Dec 27 at the **************** Home Depot. Background: I had a Rigid battery registered for the lifetime replacement warranty. A HD lady rep. over the phone said to take it to a HD with a *********** to exchange it. ******, at the Buda HD, told me she was wrong and described the tortuous path to get HD to honor its exchange commitment. I was put out and frustrated. But on my way home I stopped at the **************** ** store and presented my story to *************** at the customer **********************. She told me to go see if a battery like mine was on the shelf, and if there was, bring it to her desk for an exchange. I did and it was done. Hurrah for ***************, a very pretty redhead too.

      How Doers Get More Done. This is the slogan for the worlds largest home improvement retailer Home Depot. I, a middle-class female who just recently got married and is a first-time home buyer wanted to get more done. We order all our appliances on November 20th, 2022. Our delivery date was scheduled for December 21st, 2022. A day before delivery, I get a call that ******* is out of stock. I am understandable and confirm a new delivery date January 7th. Surprisingly, on 12/29/2022 I receive an email that my delivery date changed to 12/30/2022. My hands were being tied about the one-day notice, but we were happy to be receiving the appliances that we paid for a month ago. I am notified that ******* delivered and that I am all set for delivery. I abandoned my plans for the day and head home to remove all our old appliances. With reservation, I call the store again and confirm that the delivery is going to happen tomorrow. It is reported back that everything is set to go. The woman on the phone confirmed that there will be a delivery tomorrow and to call first thing in the morning for the time frame. At first light, my anxiety becomes a stalker. I give Home Depot another ring, and to my ignorance My delivery did not make the truck this morning. As I speak with the man on the phone, I become a raging fire. I compose myself and realize he is not the enemy, nor is the woman that kept telling me I understand your frustration. Just some prebaked rebuttals to deescalate and neuter the conversation. We are just a bean in their jar, and they dont care about us. I vow to never shop at Home Depot again! But does it matter to Home Depot? I am just one bean.

      So I went to home depot to open a credit card for my new job as a new construction plumber as i thought home depot was reputable and a good company and seemed reliable in the pastand i figured if i had a problem it would be adressed. so i get a credit card i was avoiding as i always avoid credit cards in the first place and bought the $499 combo pack as a deal it was supposed to come with a 6.0 ho and that never came with the rest. I spent about 3 hours on the phone being sent back and forth from home depots customer ********************** to their warehouse to milwaukee playing the blame game. So I figured I would just go down there and the lady that tried to help me also had to play phone tag and eventually after 40 minutes threw her hands up and said idk what to do. So pretty much I was screwed nothing to be done and let it go. Now 3 weeks later my drill goes out and the charger starts blinking as well. So I try and extange the item and the supervisor spent an hour trying to find a way to help me and he just kept saying "this is so messed up" "you are screwed" (he was very good at his job but its home depot not wanting to take responsibility he tried everything he could think of and apologized profusely. So I tried to leave a review and it won't even let me leave one on their site unless they approve it and it even says they can reject it for any reason. Now I can't do my job and I'm losing money because in order to fix this I have to bite the bullet when I get paid and buy a drill I already paid for and a battery I already paid for and a charger I already paid for. I will have to pay off this credit card which will only give me $500 anyway and go to lowes or ace this is literally the craziest experience with customer ********************** I have ever had and left a bad taste in my mouth. I could expect more from a ma and pop shop.

      Does Home Depot care about customer satisfaction? My experience as a customer shouts No! We placed an order in-store (******** **) for a refrigerator on 12/16. We selected a specific brand/model because of a promotional offer that comes with purchase. We spent over an hour because even though they had 2 gift items in store, we have to wait until MARCH for it to be delivered by truck. No one in the store could figure out how to place the order otherwise. The free gift was a compact freezer that would have been a huge help because our refrigerator/freezer died, hence ordering a new one! So right off the bat the response from Home Depot was sorry, theres nothing we can do. Delivery date was set for 12/26. We wait around all day for them to show up. They came with the paper work BUT the refrigerator was not on the truck! Customer ********************** response was sorry, theres nothing we can do. So we set another delivery date for 12/29. The refrigerator shows up today with dents! Guess what customer ********************** responds with $150 credit on a DENTED $2500 refrigerator. No thank you. They then say they can send a replacement door for the side with the water/ice dispenser. No thank you, wouldnt that void the warranty!!? Now we need to wait for another refrigerator to replace this one. We also PAID for a new hose to replace the one we had, but they didnt bring it or replace it. We also never received a copy of the delivery receipt. I called the Woodbury store and spoke with the manager on duty, and after getting disconnected twice (!) guess what she said sorry, theres nothing we can do. I get there is a distribution warehouse and a third party delivery service, but YOU hired them Home Depot! You are still responsible for quality control and customer satisfaction. I will never return to HD to purchase another major appliance because I got the message loud and clear theres nothing you can do! So why would I come back?

      I placed an online order for a refrigerator and microwave on 11/27/22 with a delivery date scheduled for 12/08/22. They then called to reschedule the delivery for 12/13/22. The order was never delivered and I had to make a call to confirm. They rescheduled me for 11/16 - 11/20, none of which the appliance arrived. I called again on 12/21 to be told that they will deliver on 12/28. It is now 12/28 and my order has still not been delivered and has been rescheduled for 01/05/2023!! I've called several customer support numbers and not one person is able to help me with my order nor assist me with a cancelation. I have been transferred between calls endlessly. The text messaging service is also complete garbage as I messaged it at 5pm EST on a Wednesday after being urged by the customer support personnel to contact as it is a faster response time. Only to be sent a message from the messaging system that they are close and only open Monday to Sunday 8am-9pm EST... The customer support is ridiculous and the delivery is joke. The fact that no heads up is given if they change my schedule for delivery as I had to call every single time that it doesn't arrive. And to make things worse is that my time is wasted waiting for the delivery on multiple occasions and calling them on the phone takes ridiculously long.

      Windows were installed in Oct 2021, still not inspected or corrected have been contacting since Nov 4th of 2021 about terrible work 4 different contractors sent to correct, still no satisfaction and ZERO communication from HD.over $13,000 paid up front and still waiting for proper installation lied to by salesman about HD backing for all warranty work wish for total refund and windows to be removed upon day of new installation by new installers.*****************
