1 starWe oredered an oven to be delivered and installed. We waited six weeks. When it was delivered, the delivery person said they weren't licenced to install it. They recommended we either hire someone to install it, and they would drop it off, or cancel and they would return it to Home Depot. Since installation was supposed to be included in the order, we called the Home Depot number provided us by the delivery service. The person told us that because the delivery person "disqualified himself" we had no alternative but to reschedule our delivery and then hire an installer on our own. We decided to cancel our order. The person told us we would get a full refund, and that an email stating that had been sent. I looked in my inbox and there was no email sent stating that. The person promised me that it would show up "soon." An hour later, the email still hadn't showed up so I called the number back, spoke with another person who disonnected me while I was explaining the situation, without saying anything. 1 starI ordered 2 Hotpoint washing machines by accident. I meant to buy a washer and a drier but found the website difficult to navigate. They were delivered to the driveway of my rental home. After they arrived my contractor discovered the mistake. Home Depot WILL NOT ACCEPT A RETURN of the excess washing machine!What? They said the order should have been rejected upon delivery. Are you kidding me? I was told I should have read the terms and conditions. I strongly recommend not buying appliances online.Review fromKevin C

1 starVery disappointed in the quality of service from employees and even management. Ordered a gazebo in store at the ********************************************************************************* location and after over a month of being lied to be the store saying it was on the way and assuring me it was shipped l, turns out they shipped it to the other side of the country and now have said we burnt and they aren't gana do anything to make the situation right.The Home Depot

1 starI am writing as a very dissatisfied consumer. Back in October 2021 and November 2021 I purchased / signed on with Home Depot for 2 rather large projects.Project 1 kitchen makeover - signed for on 10/31/2021. I knew due to Covid that the timeframe would be longer than expected due to supply chain issues, however here we are 15 months later and my kitchen is still not complete. I have had issue after issue getting this project complete. The original install was started in May 2022 - this included countertops, cabinet refacing, reconfiguration of some existing drawers/cabinets, new sink, tile back splash. First came the countertops and sink-Home Depot never put my countertop order in-they kept telling me that ******* would reach out to me and I kept reiterating that I ordered Granite not Cambria - once they finally listened to me the contractors doing the sink and countertops were great and things went smoothly. Next the cabinet refacing - installer was great on day 1 as week went on it went downhill. I went to talk to him about my handle placement, but he told me he already drilled holes so basically it was too late - he put the handles on drawers on top of drawers and they needed re-order drawer fronts. Once new drawer fronts were in, while installing a handle the installer broke it and scratched drawer front - then new one had to be ordered, along with new crown molding which is installed incorrectly this was October, today I sent another email to Home Depot (this is a biweekly process) and still I sit with an incomplete kitchen -broken drawer handle, scratched drawer front, misaligned crown molding - basically an INCOMPLETE project - yet there is no problem taking my money! The full scope of my projects/purchases during this time was flooring(entire living area), all new appliances and this kitchen makeover-to say that this has been stressful and very time consuming is an understatement.I would not recommend doing these projects with them to anyone.The Home Depot

1 starThe reviews of products they sell are fake. I reviewed products for mold and mildew remedies and decided on Infinity Shield products based on reviews supplied by Home Depot. The product did not work as reviewed. When I went back to read the reviews I shouldve known by how much fluff was in them that they were written by the manufacture. Shame on Home Depot for not doing research on the products they sell.Review fromKerry D.

1 starI had a horrible experience ordering a dishwasher and it still has not been resolved. I ordered on 11/7/22, it was delivered a few days later and installed by Home Depot. Right after the tech left, about Half way into the test cycle water starts seeping out of dishwasher and floods kitchen floor. I call Home Depot and they said a tech would be back out to check installation. Then a few hours later I call, and they said nobody was coming that I would have to wait til Fri, which was three days later. I Asked if they could just bring a new dishwasher since I did not want to get this one repaired since the power button kept blinking after spewing the water everywhere. They verified it was in stock and that tech would bring it fri. Friday morning comes, doorbell rings And the man said he is here to pick up the broken dishwasher and knew nothing about fixing or replacing the current one. I call Home Depot back again and they said it would be another two weeks and they only had available for the day before thanksgiving . After back and forth I decided to just cancel the order and ask them to pick up the broken dishwasher and give me my refund. I go through the cancellation process over the phone, But then never got a callback to come pick up the dishwasher. I had to call back again, Finally I got a new pick up date, weeks later. They came picked it up and I have not received a refund. I emailed Home Depot.com about my complaints about the run around and lack of communication. I had called dozens of times and just got passed around Re-explaining my story. Nobody emailed me back. I would never buy another appliance from Home Depot. Maybe posting here will get somebodys attention because their customer care line didnt even have the courtesy to respond. Is this how Home Depot values customers?The Home Depot

While I have been contacted by a Home Depot escalation specialist, I still have not received a refund. I was told 3 to 5 business days, got copies of my refund refund receipt, but still no money was refunded to me. It was 5 business days yesterday. Why would I ever consider buying an appliance from Home Depot in the future? What would make me want to shop at Home Depot when there are other options?Review fromStan S

1 starI will give them a one because I can't give them a zero. My wife purchased a christmas gift for me that I did not need. Upon returning the gift I learn that I can only get store credit because I don't have my wife's debit card with me. So I take the store credit. When I try to purchase a medecine cabinet which we do need I discover they only have one of the model we want in a box that has a large hole through which it is easy to see the mirror is smashed. I ask them to order me one of these cabinets to which they respond that they cannot because they have one in stock regardless if it is broken. Of course, they can order one to be sent to my home but I cannot use the store credit for the purchase. Talk about a rip off. Think I'll see if Lowes can help me.The Home Depot

1 starHorrible. My washer hasnt been working, we had three appts in December and still not fixed. I keep calling and complaining, last call: I asked for a new machine or reimbursement for a new machine and money towards laundry and was told to follow up Today as a decision would be made. Today I called and was told there was no note regarding the last call and I needed another service repair appointment before they can make the determination whether I can get a new washer or not. Its going to be a month next week since the washer stopped working and Ive been calling every 3-4 days to complain and it seems each supervisor in the escalations department is doing their own thing. And I informed them of the new email twice before which I learned today was not updated!The Home Depot

1 starI returned items after our barn was built . These items were charged on my one and only charge card, so the missing receipts should have been able to be verified. I was given a Return Denial with a phone number whose person who instructed me to call a phone number for a third-party return department that was a message, only, that instructed me to send the decline to a web address that does not work. Seriously? How unprofessional for a company whose IT department is clearly lacking in verification of previous purchases.The Home Depot

1 starI bought an HP ink cartridge on Dec. 1, 2022 in ******** ** I opened the ink the other day and my printer told me it was defective.Today, on Jan. 2, 2023 I tried to return the defective cartridge at the Office Depot in *******, **.The cashier told me I had 30 days to return the cartridge and I missed it by a day.Yesterday they would have given me my $41 back but today, no dice.I have been an Office depot customer for 26 years. Today I lost $41 but Office Depot has lost a customer. I don't understand how they can enforce this policy. No one can stock ink.It has to be opened and used within a month.I left the store and told them to keep the bad cartridge. The credit went to my rewards account which I will not be using. I think they could have cut me a break because of the holiday and the fact that I was not aware of the policy. The cashier asked the manager and he said NO. Well I just ordered some ink from Target and guess what? It's only $33 - $8 less than Office depot. Maybe they did me a favor by driving me away. And why is half the ink defective from Office Depot anyway?The Home Depot
