1 starHome Depot sold me a A/C unit with installation thru ************ which they promised 24 months 0% apr after ********************************** interest 28% when I call customer ********************** ******** **** said she cant do nothing and basically dont care that they are reaping me off they also said I was to receive a 750 dollars credit card that I never got so basically they lied and lied for you to commit and after that they change everything ***********************The Home Depot

1 starDO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR YOUR HOME PROJECTS! This complaint is in regards to a cabinet refacing and horrible customer **********************. I work in the customer ********************** industry. This experience has been beyond inexcusable. The attempt to reconcile the issues to this point was laughable and a slap in the face. The only party I have a little respect for was *********************** out of **********. Although she was unable to complete my request she still led with empathy and appeared to have remorse for the situation to an extent. I will be closing my account and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. There should be some accountability for all the events and occurrences that have happened throughout my project but there was NONE. It is beyond upsetting the lack of professionalism that has been displayed and disgusting, poor customer ********************** that has been provided over the last 9 months and 4 months of construction. . This left my kitchen un-usable for over a month. Everyone involved in our project was inconsistent, unresponsive, and unempathetic with the exception of a few. The inconsideration of others' time is just disrespectful. Myself and my husband had to schedule time off work multiple times for correcting a problem that falls on home depots liability. To pay for a product and then to be disregarded once payment was received is just unacceptable. I will not accept this conduct for companies I do business with. The supervisor ******, that I spoke with on 10/4- stating that he apologized that the amount of communication was not up to my standards was condescending and just disregarded any accountability. The representation of the customer ********************** that I received along with the product completion is less than satisfactory and not up to what I agreed to pay for. The slap in the face that was accompanied by an 8% discount that was offered is laughable. I can only hope that one of the parties involved gets to experience such disrespectful and disgraceful customer **********************.The Home Depot

1 starI have been trying to get warranty work done on their ******** replacement windows for 2+yes and just been getting the run around Home Depot I am done with home depot they will not stand behind their products. they are not the only game in town and I will do the repairs my self with non home depot productsThe Home Depot

1 starI had a terrible experience with a product I purchased from Home Depot. I tried to return the items and was told they were not eligible. I contacted the manufacturer of the product and was told I would have to pay an inspector to come out and verify I used the product as instructed before they would honor the 18-year warranty they advertised on the package. I wrote a negative review for the product and it was posted for a few days and then Home Depot removed all negative reviews of the product and replaced them with compensated reviews that were all positive.The Home Depot

1 starHave been a loyal customer for years and spend a lot. We purchased a set of Washer/Dryer set to have it delivery and since the 1st time that we used them they dont work (still dont). Call them and return to the store and is been a cat and mouse between Home Depot Blaming Whirlpool and not owning their own policies and responsibilities. Worse experience ever trying to get them to pickup the phone, resolve, send a tech etc. Definitely need to start looking for a different place to shop and take my business somewhere else where they value: loyalty, values and respect each customer properly and not lie that will do everything in our power to help when they dont even answer the phones nor respect warranties even on a brand new appliance. Still waiting to get a solution done and toddy is 1/8/2023 been trying to get something resolve since 11/28/2022. Not asking for anything free, just asking to get something taken care to provide a service one purchase.Like many others you cannot leave a review unless is approve by the store prior and they always make an excuse of why they cant or that the person who can help is either: on lunch, off, sick or mot in do to weather conditions.The Home Depot

1 starOur dryer continued to go out, so we decided to buy a new pair. We chose to spend over $2k at Home Depot on this new set and its the last dime Ill spend there. The reason? Lack of ownership and accountability; and clearly a revenue sheet is more important than a customer.Ordered during Black Friday sales event, delivery and installation set for the week after Thanksgiving. Like many people, we made arrangements with work etc but it was postponed the Friday beforehand. Thats not upsetting, its the holidays and is relatively understandable. Installers came out, had no idea I already had a Rain Soft system purchased through HD. They figured it out and immediately reported to me the dryer was defective. He said he submitted the work order to swap them out & I would hear from HD. Never heard from anyone. After the holiday I followed up to check on the status. I was bounced around multiple depts for an hour, speaking to 4 different people. People blaming it on 3rd parties, different ***** etc. Eventually found someone that would help in *****. I learned no notes and no order was placed. If they were there, Id have a new dryer without issue. Now, I have to deal with mfg tech visits until they decide to replace it, scheduling visits, etc. ***** escalated the issue, the proposal was for me to buy another and HD get the defective one and I get a refund. All because someone didnt put a note in the system? Fine, lets do it the store manager declined ?? said they would then have to worry about what to do with a $900 dryer that doesnt work you read that right, clearly no concern for the customer and only concerned about defective overhead. Apparently the protection plan is worthless as well.I just want what was promised when it was installed. I just want the company that sold me this expensive set to honor their products, their employees word, etc.I doubt anyone at HD cares, Im just another ignored issue. The lack of ownership is learned from leadership.The Home Depot

1 starThe Home Depot loyalty program is a joke. They have absolutely no loyalty to anyone. I spend a sizable amount of money there for my business. So, I joined their pros loyalty program. I had over $400 in this loyalty program that I was going to use tools for my business. At the first of the year, they took all rewards that I earned, according to there store reps and cleared it. I can understand starting it over. But to take away what we have accumulated??? That its just not right. Even the store rep was saying that I did not receive the rewards that I should have. He was almost as upset as I was. He sent the corporate office an email saying they should contact me. Needless to say, they did not. I am sure this is not going to do anything, but just a crappy way of doing business.The Home Depot

1 starI spend quite a bit at this store particulary and the people there (caucasian mid age & senior citizens) are aweful! I'm not sure if they are this way to all folks or just minorities! I came in one to pick up a Ring Spotlight camera, and the old guy didn't want to go and pick up the order out of their locked cabinets. After 30 minutes, another older woman home depot associated did the work for this old guy, he complained etc. There were other instances where I've placed orders and had to wait or the staff was just lazy! Tonight, 01-07-2023 at 5:30 ET was the finally straw! Another older, white caucasian, with an attitude kept telling me, the order I came to the store to pick up, two, 100W Solar panels were not at the store, part of, two, 40ft AWG cables and two solar panel mounting brackets. Didn't greet me or say hello just called me over ( I provide info) and after looking up the order, pulled it and said here's your order. Aurgued me down, the order was complete for 20 minutes. Finally he recognized it was error, I cancelled the order. Then I call customer ********************** at 6:15 PM ET, same day and who seemed to care less. After the dissatisfiying call, I told the worker let hang up and I'll rate the call, she transferred me to another rep as in order not to get the bad review. I told him to hang up, I'm still going to leve the bad review, he said what review, and I said hang up please, he said ok. But kept the line open for 3 - 5 minutes, well I kept holding on and eventually the line clicked or hung up and I left the bad rating! If you can help it, stay clear of Home Depot, their service ***** very, very much! On another occassion, I placed an online order and added instructions I live on a hill. Called customer ********************** to explain and they said it ok the driver will deliver it up the hill. Well when he got here, he sat my 400lbs order off the truck and said he would not bring it up. I cancelled the order and will CANCEL my Home Depot card on 01/09/2023!!The Home Depot

1 starPurchased a *********** range as part of a remodel project, and had it delivered by Home Depot.When I opened the box I noticed the unit was crushed beyond use or repair. I took pictures and contacted the home depot management to resolve the issue.I was told that they would not help because I reported after the 48 hr reporting period. Management (****** and ****) did not even try to resolve the issue.The Home Depot
