1 starI ordered a recliner from the Home Depot website. The chair came from oj commerce, *******, **. I ordered the chair on 2/19/25, on arrival, the up/down remote worked fine. The heat/massage remote DID NOT WORK. I contacted the customer ********************** at ** commerce. I sent pictures and a video of the remote not working. They sent the wrong remote. Contacted them, they said they cannot get the correct remote. They wanted me to send the chair back in the original box, which we had to cut open to get the chair and parts out of, so this was not an option. Plus, what would she sit in while waiting? I have been back and forth with this company about the chair. Then they offered a partial refund to my credit card of $223 for all of my hassles. This HAS NOT HAPPENED AS OF TODAY, 4/12/25. What a nightmare and a hassle this has been. I also blame Home Depot for letting this company advertise and sell merchandise on their website. They should be accountable as well!!!!!!The Home Depot

1 starThis company doesn't care about you the consumer. First delivery from this corporate bully ended with my order thrown into my front yard. Second delivery was for a refrigerator. I never received it and just cancelled the order. Third delivery was made today. They put my $600 flooring order in the middle of the driveway in the rain. When I complained to customer **********************, the response given is such that it is my fault that it's raining and the driver can just leave it where they choose because I have 2 steps to my front porch. I requested delivery to the front porch because they could basically back right up to it. I demanded a refund and for them to get that ruined flooring out of my driveway. When my store card is credited, I'm going to close that account. I'm done with this corporate bully. I took my business elsewhere. If you do your customer wrong, they will fight back with their wallet. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!The Home Depot

1 starWhat a horrible experience end to end. We were purchasing a dishwasher. I had done my research online but still had questions. We had to **** down someone to help us in the appliance department and then I knew more about the dishwashers then that person. He was not helpful at all. Then the delivery and install experience was a nightmare. 4 attempts at delivery before the last one final worked. 3 attempts were due to damaged dishwashers. More then 6 phone calls into the help line to get updates. 2 of those to be told that the date had moved but no one had called to update us. Then I was told comp would be offered following the installation if I called back so I did to get told that they could only offer 20% which didnt even cover the full installation costs!!!!! I had to negotiate for 25% when in reality 40% was a minimum expectation at this point! Took a ton of my time working through all the phone calls and new dates, rescheduled appointments, we moved around other items due to installation windows only for them to not happen. We spent almost 1800 all in and I got 318 back and it took over a month. Ridiculous!! And I leave in a large area with multiple other options. Home Depot I may never be back and Ive been a loyal customer for yearsThe Home Depot

1 starAbsolutely terrible service from the ordering to the delivery. Incompetent sales people, delivery service, and management who are not willing to listen to the customer. Salesperson didn't include my condo unit number or correct phone number on my receipt (even though I made a point of verify this information) so when the delivery people called the wrong number they rescheduled me. I know they had the correct phone number because I received the text message notifications that they were arriving soon. When they attempted the second delivery, it was so late in the day that the delivery staff stated they had to leave before the warehouse closed. In their notes they said the hand rails were in the way. We removed them, but they still wouldn't stay to finish the install and remove the old frig so they left it in my garage. I called the store on Sunday twice to verify a third delivery attempt would be made on Monday as I was told. Was told to follow up with the store Monday morning as they could see I was on the schedule for Monday, but no time frame was available to view. Called store Monday and they told me I was scheduled for Friday to have another delivery attempt. They couldn't do it any sooner, even though I verified I was on the schedule for Monday. Well, Friday comes around and since it is outside of the 48 hour "delivery window" which started when they dropped off the frig in my garage and left (not when it was installed), I now cannot return the item. I have spent hours on the phone attempting to rectifying the situation, and all I get is we can't do that. I will never, ever buy from Home Depot again, and I will tell everyone I know not to as well.The Home Depot

1 starFor summer lawn maintenance I ordered a $329 Dewalt flexvolt 60V max 17 in cordless battery powered attachment capable trimmer kit with 1 flexvolt 3 Ah Battery and Charger. PLAINLY ADVERTISED with this kit is you get a free FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX Lithium-Ion 9.0Ah Battery if you order it with the kit. I got my string trimmer today, but no extra battery. I check my order online, confirmed it was added and I did get the $229.00 credit for the free battery. When I called, customer ********************** wanted me to pay an additional $147 to get the "free" battery. PLAINLY STILL LISTED on their website is the original advertisement that states you get it for free. I have a screen capture of it. This is false advertising and then it's a scam to get even more money from me to get the battery I already paid for as a promotion by asking for more money from me. To make matters worse, I ordered an $800 lawn mower that cannot be return to the store, I have to take time out of my day to get it to **** These business practices are predatory.Review fromHeather P

1 starI ordered an expensive washer along with installation. When delivery came they literally left the washer in the middle of my garage and drove away.They never told me they were leaving or communicated anything to me. I contacted customer ********************** and they told me that I never selected the free installation option. Instead of offering to schedule the installation, they said that the delivery people can come back pick back up the ********** is that the appropriate solution? Customer ********************** said they can't install because it's not on their work order. So I informed them that they need to have a work order to pick up the washer, so please create a work order to install the washer *********** come common sense doesn't prevail?They 'hung up' on me saying "...you are clearly choosing to ignore those options and plow ahead with your demand...I am ending this..."My 'demand' to have a free installation scheduled.The Home Depot

1 starWhat a nightmare! Stay away from The Home Depot ******! Purchased a brand new built in oven and stovetop for my mother at the ************ location. Two months later, the oven no longer works! Home Depot bounces us to the manufacturer to seek part replacement through their warranty. Technician that comes in to inspect oven never even opens it up to check electrical components, connectivity etc and only by looking at the built in oven decides what part replacement is needed! Ludicrous, right? The saga continues with an offer for part replacement rather than defective product replacement. How can a two month old built- in Frigidaire oven suddenly stop functioning? After a month long exchange of emails with manufacturer and Home Depot, no results. They lie to the face of a senior and state a 48 hour exchange policy of appliances! They refused to send in someone to inspect the quality of installation they conducted and continue to be adamant about the matter. Theyre unable to guarantee the quality of workmanship for an installation which was paid to them. Stay away from Home Depot. They lost a 20 year long-time customer.The Home Depot

Called customer ********************** after they sent text to take 10% off, she said not valid any longer. My wife has cancer, and we were doing hospital appointments. They could have been more understanding. I would not recommend them.The Home Depot

1 star0 stars. Ordered 3 kitchen appliances online. Received one on the latest day promised. And the other two havent even shipped. No information on them at all. Absolutely zero help from customer **********************. They take no responsibility and blame the warehouse and carrier service. Just a call center who cant provide any other information you would find in the app and clearly reading from a prompt. Home Depot lost another customer. I will go out of my way to go to ***** now. Also every time you go to Home Depot the stores are unorganized and dirty. Nobody greets you and they dont know anything about product location or information. I used to work there when I was a kid, easiest and most fun job ever. They taught us about the products, their uses and where to find everything. We greeted and offered help to everyone. Times have definitely changed.The Home Depot
