1 starHome Depot in ********* ** has had fruit trees in the locked up area for over 30 days and you are not allowed to purchase them . I called the store manager and asked why and he stated that they were storing them until spring and was very rude to me I rode by yesterday and they are still not out for display to buy and some are wilting due to lack of water anyway I would advise not to purchase any of these fruit treesThe Home Depot

1 starWe bought a refrigerator from Home Depot. We have to make ourselves available for the entire day as they do not call until they day before with a delivery window. Our window was Friday 12 - 5. So our fridge is now empty, unplugged and water line detached ready for new one. They called at 3:30 saying they were 20 minutes out. An hour later they called saying the truck broke down. Multiple phone calls, texts between the driver and I he was stranded with no help from Home Depot. He had to get a friend to come and pick him up. 8:30 at night Home Depot scheduling calls us and wants to know if we had talked to the driver as they were unable to get a hold of him. They refused to deliver on Saturday (even though they deliver on Saturday) so we are without a fridge for the entire weekend. Rescheduled for Monday and have to go through the same game of delivery time window. If it was my business, I would try to do something for the customer that I just messed up their entire day without delivering anything to them. I understand the truck breaking down was no ones fault (unless Home Depot is not taking care of their vehicles) but how you manage the situation says a lot about your company.The Home Depot

1 starI bought a $10,000 indoor countertop 2 years ago and a $10,000 outdoor countertop 1 year ago. Both had installation issues and neither have been fixed. The indoor kitchen countertop had one section where they did a completely different edging then the rest of the countertops. It has been inspected over 5 times by over 10 people. Each time we contact the office they would say someone else needs to do the inspection and send out someone new. The inspectors always confirmed the edging had to be redone. And they took tons of photos and videos and even facetimed some office manager during it. We got lots of promises they were going to fix it. But still nothing has been done. The outdoor bbq they installed an INDOOR granite that immediately started to turn yellow and brown. They admitted they provided and installed the incorrect type of granite and agreed to replace. But days before the demo and reinstall was to start they told me I had to remove all appliances, plumbing, electrical and the sink embedded in the granite myself or hire someone else to do it before they would do anything. So they cancelled. Since then I got a bid from a contractor to remove and reinstall everything for HD at a cost of $2,500. And I would need a new sink since the existing sink will be destroyed during demo. A new sink is over $550. So HD expects me to spend over $3000 to help them fix their error. And now noone at home depot will return my emails or calls. H6640-197345 H6640-135389.So now I have to file a claim with the Contractor ******************** Seems silly that is what they want me to do. IThe Home Depot

1 starWe spent over $20,000.00 for 21 windows in our home. The manufacture and delivery of the initial 11 of those 21 windows was botched. Only 5 were delivered. The other 6 were not in the order. The installation of those 5 windows was late and the final trim work was horrible. *****, the installer, left me low-grade, unstained, and unmitered wood to stain myself and hang. **************** had to repair *****' work. **************** also installed the other 10 windows ordered last year for our 2nd floor. The windows were installed and caulked from the inside & without the use of a ladder. On 12/25/22, a cold front with wind gusts of 40 mph blew outside and ***************************** our home. The whistling continues every time the winds get gusty where we live. After repeated & recent attempts to contact *******************, ********, and *****************************, Home Depot reps/contractors, THE DEFECTIVE WINDOWS HAVE NOT BEEN REPAIRED OR REPLACED!!! NONE OF THESE REPS HAS RETURNED OUR CALLS FOR HELP!. This intentional disregard of a problem with a Home Depot product by Home Depot reps is shameful. As a result of this terrible incident, which continues to go unresolved, I will never buy another home product from The Home Depot!!!The Home Depot

1 starI ordered kitchen appliances, to which delayed the delivery and canceled the order for an appliance. But created another order and charged me twice. The delayed appliance came in and I was not refunded the money for the canceled order. I called and spoke with the partner specialist numerous times but to no resolution. I am on phone with them now to get my refund. I don't expect any resolution so out of frustration I am just leaving a review here describing what I went throughThe Home Depot

1 starMy daughter purchased a ******* dishwasher on line from Home Depot. 1st one came broken at the base. They sent a replacement that also was broken but, they said she didn't contact Home depot within 48 hours and now it's not their responsibility. She did contact them but they put her off a day taking her past the 48 hour window. She called ******* who finally sent a tech out who said..yes broken, call home depot. This has been going back and forth for over a month with no resolution. I even tried taking it back to the ***** ******** store. The manager refused **. I called home depot corporate today and they quoted policy and refused to help. ****** learned, Never purchase from Home depot or ******. Purchase through Amazon and this would have been resolved immediately. Very disappointed in Home Depot customer ********************** which there is none!!!The Home Depot

1 starI went to The Home Depot in ************, ******** for my window replacement project. I signed a contract with the design consultant. On March 30, 2022, an installer came to my house to install the new windows. I paid the whole project amount of $3888.35. After the installer left, I found that there were two windows that were not caulked, and some damages to my previous windows during the process of installation. I called the installer and asked him to come fix the issues. He said that he would come fix it soon. Two weeks later, he didn't show up, so I texted him again and asked him to fix the problem. He said he would come but he didn't. Over a month later, I called the design consultant who I signed the window replacement project contract with, I told him about the situation and asked him to fix the problem. He said he would handle it and get it solved. I waited and waited, but nothing happened. I texted him and sent him the pictures of the issue and he responded that he would get the issues solved. But until now, nothing has happened, nobody showed up to fix the problems. I chose Home Depot for my window replacement project over multiple window businesses, but the experience I have been through during this time disappointed me. As one of the 500 Fortune companies, Home Depot really shouldn't offer this kind of service to the customer. Very disappointing.The Home Depot

1 starwe put in our order for refrigerator November 4 2022 and just got it, January 19 2023. first the order was not put in, even though we were given a delivery date, I even spoke with someone and stated it will be delivered that day November 15 and it will be close to 4pm, I called again around 5 coz we still didn't get a call, then to find out it will not be delivered coz order was not put in, (they said it was GEs fault), someone took care of it and stated it will be delivered before thanksgiving , we are out of town and requested to be in the afternoon of Wednesday November 23. We got a call Novemebr ******************************************* the morning November 22 and the delivery guy was very rude, insisting it will be delivered . we did reach out to the local store where we put the order in and we just have to move the delivery date, there was no attempt at all to fulfill our request to be delivered later that day, so we didn't have a refrigerator thanksgiving day. Another delivery dat was scheduled and the product has a dent so we did not accept it. In the mean time, nobody knows when will we get our refrigerator and have encountered some rude employee even the assistant manager and even stated "you can cancel your order". even suggested to call GE, why is it our job to find our product when we buy it at your store, not very helpful. So it was finally delivered to us but there was a dent and of course we did not accept it. we tried to be patient so another holiday without refrigerator , Christmas and new year. it was finally delivered January 19, unfortunately when they move it towards the kitchen they bumped out counter and put a dent and scratch on our refrigerator, we called the local store, she made it sound it will be a good compensation so we did accept it. after over a week, got a call and they are going us $400 discount, this is $2400.00 refrigerator, only 15%, I think w deserved more than 15% compensation, if I knew its only 15% I WILL NOT ACCEPT ITThe Home Depot

1 starOrdered a $900 ** Dryer - the one they delivered was defective and did not work. It came on at installation and stopped with the 1st load. Instead of simply scheduling a replacement, They sent someone out to tell us... hey your dryer doesn't work, you need a replacement. The tech said he ordered one, the customer ********************** line said it was never ordered. Then, Home Depot says they don't handle the replacement - that ** has to handle that. Now we have to wait for ** to call us to schedule the delivery of the replacement. NEVER AGAIN will I order for online delivery at Home Depot. When you call for help, their reps are ignorant and rude - nobody wants to assist. In the meantime I have a $900 paperweight sitting in my house with NO WAY to dry our family's clothes and having to spend more money to go to the laundromat. Do not buy online from HomeDepot and DO NOT buy ** products. This is completely ridiculous, I've never had such incompetent service in my entire life! At this point I should ask for a refund and go buy my own replacement somewhere else.The Home Depot

1 starWe bought all three of our appliances (Fridge, Stove and Dishwasher) from Home Depot in ******* ********** for our new home that we are building. We paid for installation to be done upon delivery. When delivered, the hose for the refrigerator was missing so the delivery/installation guys said they could not install the appliances and that they had to wait for the hose and for us to set up a new installation date. They left the Appliances shrink wrapped and uninstalled making it impossible for us to inspect closely but could see that there were no dents of any kind. We were NOT advised at any point that we should have sent them back until they could install them or the 48 hour window in which we could report any damage would expire. All this was out of our control and there was a lack of communication on both Home Depot and the delivery guys. When they came back to install the appliances, we notice after they had finished that there were three deep scratches on the top of the oven door. The delivery guys said they did not do that. I called Home Depot immediately to report damage. Fast forward ,,,, I spent two and one half hours on phone with ** and then another three long phone calls and one visit in person to Home Depot only to be told in the end that they would not do anything about the damage because it was not reported with in the 48 hours of delivery, even though it was their fault that parts were missing and the appliances were not able to be inspected because of the shrink-wrap. I was told by one Home Depot employee in one of the phone calls that the delivery/installation guys SHOULD HAVE installed the two that were not missing parts, had they, we would have been able to inspect more closely. Bottom line Home Depot once they sell you something they do not have your back in the end and don't seem to care that they were in the wrong too. My advice, buy from and independent retail appliance store, at least they care about good customer **********************.The Home Depot
