1 starFirst, I am not one to complain and I am usually very understanding and compassionate for people and running big businesses ...BUT THIS IS COMPANY IS UNBELIEVABLE. We order ** washer and dryer. Had it installed and broken by unqualified people who were basically ****************....and boy it has been H*** SINCE FOR MY FAMILY. THIS HAD BEEN GOING ON FOR 3 WEEKS in our new home we have been unable to enjoy! After weeks of disappointment, misdirected communications, false promises and more...here we are...still unable to wash our clothes and make sure this expensive machine is working properly after almost 3 weeks of being screwed over & OVER and given false promises of rectification. Literally calling everyone, depending on a company who supposedly does this for a living!!! THIS IS SUCH A LET DOWN! Today after waiting another long week...we had another team of "movers" i mean installers....put in our washer WHO HAD NO CLUE, DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND RAN OUT OF HERE THE SECOND WE TURNED OUR HEAD TRYING TO LEARN ABOUT A PROCESS THEY SHOULD KNOW OR BE TRAINED ON!!!Now because of another ignorant, unqualified delivery team...WE ARE IN LIMBO YET AGAIN. ALL WE WANT TO DO IS WASH OUR FREAKN CLOTHES AND MAKE SURE OUR MACHINE WORKS. So Home Depot I guess is ok...but anything involving an appliance being installed....BE CAREFUL BECAUSE IT SEEMS THEY OUTSOURCE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO CLUE and you will pay th price being stressed, shoved around like stale christmas fruit cake and told over and over WE DONT HAVE ANY AVAILABLE TO FIX OUR PROBLEM WE CREATED TILL NEXT WEEK.I am also sending this letter to the BBB!!!Sorry and hope you feel our frustration. But more importantly...someone actually lives up to their responsibilities and does something to TIMELY fix their faults in this matter!!!Review fromKevin M

1 starHOME DEPOT - I had two orders by a hacker that hacked into my Home Depot online account. They ordered $2,000 each order for over $4,000 in charges. I immediately contacted Home Depot and told them to cancel the order. They said they would. I was credited for the warranty purchase but the product itself was shipped to an unknown address in *********. That left $1,690 per order on my card. That happened in December, today is February 10 and after 15 calls over the last several months Home Depot keeps telling me it will be reversed in 7 to 10 days. I wait 10 days and call again for the same answer. Today they told me to dispute the charges with my Credit ************ even though it was not a credit card issue. I would cancel your online Home Depot account because they allow you to log in without a password and the hacker has some way of guessing the code sent to your e-mail. I had changed my password on e-mail as well and they still made the second order through my online account even after it was flagged as a fraud and to watch the activity. Cancel your online Home Depot so you don't experience the same 3 months of frustration.Review fromErin M

1 starBought flooring. Received the order confirmations. Then was sent order cancellations because they made a price error but the emails claimed they were out of stock. Went back online immediately after and the price was changed and stock was available. I want my flooring at the price I bought it at. This is unfair to the consumer and fraudulent in my opinion.Review fromRishi M

1 starGot hardwood flooring installed by home depot. When the flooring for whole house was being replaced, cost estimate left out removal of old flooring from half the house. After being told that edging would be needed only around kitchen cabinets, they ordered edging for whole house . On the day of install we found out what they were planning. Installers talked to store and proceeded. A week later we found out that we have to pay additional $2000. Nice bait and switch ploy used by the company. Keep the initial estimate open ended and add the cost during/after the installation. Feel like an idiot for thinking Home Depot was a “reputable” company. Trying to get an answer from store manager is impossible. Lesson learned, never again. If you feel brave enough, show the estimate from Home Depot to multiple friends BEFORE starting. If you have any concerns, stop the installers.Do not assume they will do the right thing.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot has lost yet. Another customer and I used to work at this ********* store in ******** **************. an incredibly rude customer ********************** person answered my phone call January 7 would not answer me except to say what is corrugated sheeting. Then she left the phone and never came back. I have called corporate twice. No one has emailed me and no one has responded by telephone bad customer **********************. You are to be ashamed. Home Depot so much for a power hour. I worked there I know how youre to behave with customers.The Home Depot

1 starHorrible experience. Working on closing off a Kitchen Reno. Took almost 4 months... they dont even know how to design a kitchen! Guilianna from the Leila location in WPG, MB - was her first kitchen and NOONE reviewed it. Some cabinets I couldnt even open!! It was supposed to be done before XMAS! So many errors from the Sink I wanted, types of cabinets, delivery!!!! Lied to so many times by multiple staff members. Mehvish from "Customer Care" doesnt care. Ignores our dozen of emails/calls. Couldnt even order me a replacement drawer track as it delivered damaged.
I was laughed at when I asked to speak with a supervisor and told no.
we have had at least 20 + issues with this kitchen reno. From design, delivery, the actual install, communication between HD and Contractor, Quotes being 4 X the original costs. Countertop being $600 more then they told us it would be.
Every person I have spoken to, wont help us. They said they person appointed will help us, meanwhile this girl refuses to call or contact us....
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I AM HORRIFIED. $20,000 Spent to a horrible company. I will NEVER be back for the rest of my renos. I am a first time home owner, this was my first renovation... thanks for nothing!The Home Depot

1 starI ordered new floors for my 26th floor unit. Home Depot neglected to send the baseboards that I had requested and sent a product that was the wrong color. I contacted Customer ********************** and they cold transferred me to the store, which had no idea what I was talking about and hung up. I then texted Customer ********************** and they told me that I needed to contact the store. I will be using another company going forward. This was inexcusable.The Home Depot

1 starI applied for a credit card for home depot was denied I make $60,000 a year my credit score is in the high 600sI know people on disability who gets like $700 something a month applied and received one I'm buying a $75,000 mobile and like to make home Improvements a card will make things easier never late on any of my cars or mortgage in3 years never late on my loan payment I got 6 months ago my home depot is about 20 miles from me I do believe lowes is starting to be a better option it's a 30 mile drive away so thank you home depot for your years of service but I'll move on from this point onThe Home Depot

1 starI needed an item that was not stocked on the shelf but had 54 listed online. I had 2 employees go above and beyond to find the item and get it for me. It just took 20 mins. I thank them very much but it did put me late. I was okay with that since they helped me greatly. It was the lady working self checkout. She stood 2ft from me and watched me like a hawk. I can not stand that. I asked her if I could help her and she said no I was doing a great job. If i had not waited 25mins for that item and was already late I would have dropped everything and walked out. If you are so worried about people stealing then how about opening all the registers that are just for decoration and actually hire the people to work them and ************ out. That has only happened one other time to me and I did walk out of that store. I couldn't this time bc I was already running late and needed ****** items otherwise I would have went to Lowes since its closer to my home anyway. Well I will be going there from now on bc that was infuriating. There is no reason she had to do that. I was carefully checking out all my items and other people were checking out and she looked at them and then turned back to me without every leaving that spot. I am renovating my house and go to home depot so much i decided to get a HD CC but I will be paying it off and closing the account and I will start shopping at Lowes or ***** or a different HD other than this location. Again if you are that worried you should actually have registers open. I feel like I was discriminated against bc she didn't even leave my side while other people were checking out. Isn't she supposed to be watching them as well. Why did she feel the need to make me so uncomfortable and mad that I never want to shop there again.The Home Depot

1 starDid a refacing of my kitchen about 3 years ago. They did my counters and countertops. I will begin by saying that before the work was performed it was a terrible experience . At one point, one of the contractors that they send was kicked out of my house for being disrespectful and attempting to fight my husband. The job that was performed on our kitchen was a ****** rushed job. Some of the trims were so heap that once water hits it, its damaged. The cabinets that were refaced have pieces that have completely fallen off. If one is to spend so much money, Home Depot is not the place to go. We must now find someone to fix this mess.The Home Depot
