      Very disappointed in HD. My elderly parents used them to install hurricane impact windows and are having problems with rust. After the initial installation we had water seeping in to the crevices of the **************** in S. ******* and it rains frequently but due to the poor ******* ship we had to request service multiple times. They came out a few times and did patchwork. Never taking responsibility for the defective work they did. Fast forward- to today, I am watching my senior parents call them repeatedly over the last few months to help with the rust that has developed. NO One has the decency to call back. Oh and they were responsive when they wanted a sale, just not now. Totally unprofessional.

      This should be-1 star! First time ever purchasing new *********** **** were so excited! Recently purchased 3 major appliances from local Home Depot-not cheap-; ************* *************** ************* Dishwasher was damaged, couldnt be installed with others. First delivery was wonderful! Guys were polite & respectful. DW rescheduled for delivery 1week later. No call, no notification of delivery window, nothing. They showed up at 7:30am as I was on my way to work. Received a call from manager the delivery team was at my residence & would wait 15 minutes. He gave me a call back number that could not be understood, when I tried calling back the number I thought I understood, it was *********************!!!! Meanwhile, I turn around to race back to my home before they leave (made it back in 6 ******** ****** were pulling out-they werent going to wait. They drove right past me, 20 feet from the end of my driveway. Called another number & was told it was a missed delivery so rescheduled for 2 days later, then received notice same day that the item, that I passed this morning in the truck, was back ordered & wouldnt be delivered for 12 days?!?!?! WHAT?? Called again & was told there was nothing they could do, I was not allowing this to happen. I called again & was told it had been scheduled for the following week on Tuesday. I said Id be home after noon, please dont schedule before that. Still didnt receive call day before, I called & delivery was scheduled 9:30-1:30!!! Daughter came to accept delivery ****** were supposed to install. Was told, We have too many deliveries today to install this one. Again, WHAT?!?! I will NEVER purchase major appliances from Home Depot again!!!! Absolutely terrible, ridiculous, & disrespectful! The Manager for their delivery company needs fired!!

      I purchased a refrigerator on 2/17/23. My mistake was paying cash. They came to deliver and refused because we did not have the only connection they accept for an ice maker.I bought a refrigerator from them before and there were no issues, they installed a kit. I had to go in twice to customer ********************** to apply for a refund. They said it would be 7 to 10 days to receive a check in the mail, if the purchase is over ***** cash.When we got home the refund receipt said it takes 21 business days for a refund. They bold faced lied. It has been 27 days since the purchase and still no refund. I want to warn others of their lack customer **********************. We cannot purchase a new refrigerator until we get the money back, so this has been a huge issue for us. Take your business elsewhere.

      Ordered a new dishwasher and paid for installation. Original delivery/install was Jan 24. When they showed up, was told a plumber needed to install new water line. Plumber would call within 72 hours to schedule. Dishwasher would be left in garageturns out its damaged, so they had to take it with them. No call from plumber, but new dishwasher was delivered 2/4. No install, these guys just deliver. Call HD, was told plumber would call in 72 hours to put in water line, then installation would be scheduled.2/10 at 5:30pm, plumber calls and says they will be here between **** on 2/11. I also call HD at this time to schedule install. Im told first available is 2/17. No plumber by 2pm, I call and am told that itll be 3:30-4 maybeI cannot wait any longer, so Im told to call back Monday (2/13).Call 2/13, am told that Id be better off canceling install, paying someone local to do it. Now installation date is 2/20! I ask why it shows in the notes 2/17they gave away my time slot. It will now be over 4 weeks from original delivery, and the second dishwasher has been sitting in my garage for 2 weeks. Why offer a service if you cannot deliver on commitments. I tried just cancelling entire order, was told since the dishwasher was delivered and signed off for 48hours, I cannot. So now, once its installed, even if it doesnt work Im SOL because it was delivered 14 days before install. Whole appliance is a joke.

      We recently went into Home Depot (************************************************************ *****) to purchase a washer and dryer. When asked if we had and gas or electric hookup, we stated we unaware of the type of hook up we had, which we repeatedly told ******* we werent sure if we had an electric or gas and we were not shown what the difference was and which out any confirmation the order proceeded to be placed. Once it was delivered the delivery guy told us we had a gas dryer and were receiving an electric dryer (we were told we could refuse if the appliances were damaged or defective. We were unaware we could have refused the delivery if the wrong item is ordered. It wasnt until I went in to the store the same day as I was once informed you could refuse if it is the type of dryer as well once I went in to get help by ******) if I had known this information previously I would have definitely refused the order. We spoke to ******* the appliance supervisor who was VERY VERY unhelpful and on top of being unhelpful was really Rude! Weve offered to pay the restocking fee and purchase the new gas dryer through them and she didnt want to hear anything we had to say. So much for customer **********************!! If you need help purchasing appliance I will NEVER recommend this The Home Depot ever again!

      In April of 2022 I decided I would move forward with the purchase of 13 windows to be replaced in my house. During which time I was informed that most installations are 6-8 months away. In July off 2022 I was notified my windows would be ready for installation in the first week of October. I received countless emails, phone calls and text messages reminding me to move all furniture, take down blinds and remove storm windows before the install team arrived between 8am and 10am the following morning. I spent 3 hours getting my home prepared for installation, between moving furniture, removing blinds, ensuring the installers had clear paths to move around. Also partially destroying molding around my windows from removing storm windows and the like. The installation team was supposed to be there between 8am and 10am. We received a call at 10:30 to inform us that not only would home depot not be showing up but also that our windows weren't actually ready and they wouldn't be ready for another 3 months. So of course I was furious. Furthermore, because there was a 3 month wait, my storm windows that I took off, I had already taken to the dump, so I had no storm windows to keep my heat what little heat they kept in the house; going into the inter months and my electricity bill/energy bill went through the roof. I notified **** depot about the issue and I was promised compensation by the company for the mix up and have been kept being blown off since my install in December. I finally received my windows in December and much to my surprise one if them was broken and installed broken and wasn't replaced until the second weekend of February 2023.I will never recommend home depot windows or installation, they don't care about you after they have received final payment for the windows. I have called several times and continue to be ignored.

      It has been over 2 yrs, 11/1/2021, when I signed a contract with Home Depot for a Cabinet Makeover, in ***************. and job still not done! Home Depot told me back on Nov, 11, 2021 the job would take 4-6 weeks. The cabinets were shipped to Home Depot sometime in the summer of 2022. Home Depot never inspected the order for the cabinets. THE DRAWS THEY SHIPPED, ONE YR LATER were WRONG!!! THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO INSPECT THE ****** When they came out to install the draws, they discovered the order was wrong. but the bathroom was alredy torn up. . It has been over a month since the installer came out and I still haven't received a date for completing the draw installation. As we also live part of the year in RI, we flew back, despite a family medical issue to get the cabinets installed on the first installation. I have called sent many emails and talked to their resolution team. They, the so called resolution team, continue to make it almost impossible to speak with them. They leave no last name to dial by name or wrong extensions. THE WORST EXPERIENCE ever and has also cost us an additional $700 dollars so as to keep must needed doctor ************ that could have been avoided if they had sent out a proper person to do the measurements and examined the cabinets prior to installation. To add to this misery of dealing with them, they left my bathroom a mess and we have been living in it for over a month with NO END IN SIGHT

      ****************, was contracted by Home Depot to place back splash in my Kitchen. Dragon Scale used the brand new sink as a bucket to do all the grout work, which caused scratches in the stainless steel sink. We placed cardboard over the newly installed countertops to protect them and the worker cut a hole out to use the sink. Reaching out to both Home Depot and Dragon Scale. **** the owner visited and argued that the worker did not cause the scratches and wanted to use Cascade Gel to rub out the scratches. I did not have any; he did offer to go purchase. But with his bulling attitude was unkind demeanor I only wanted him to leave. pictures were emailed to Home Depot and ****************.The renovation took place in June, 2022 Dragon Scale's fix was ****** refund AS of December 2022 the caulk started to deteriorate. I telephoned Home Depot February 8, 2023 to advise them of the caulk issue. They said that is not covered under warranty and it is normal to have to re-caulk, I said AFTER 6 months. I think NOT Buyer BeWARE

      We purchased a brand new washer and dryer with pedestals on 12/24/22. They were delivered damaged on 1/10/23 and we refused the entire order. The Second delivery was set for 1/27/23 and they were delivered damaged AGAIN! We refused the delivery and cancelled the order completely! It is now 2/11/23 and we still have not been completely refunded. They are passing the blame to the vendor saying one of the pedestals was not returned. We did not do business with the vendor! We did not accept any of the products. They should refund our money and go after the vendor for the missing product. They are holding our money hostage when they are doing business with an unreliable delivery vendor. We have made numerous calls and had to go in person to receive a partial credit. DO BETTER HOME DEPOT!!!!

      It gets worse. On Saturday, we were contacted and told it would not be until the following Thursday before a plumber would be able to install the dishwasher. So now it will be just over a week with a dishwasher sitting here which is completely unprofessional and ridiculous. My husband and I have to take turns taking days off work to sit around all day waiting for a delivery or plumber to arrive and then find out they are not showing. I don't know if Home Depot knows this, but most people do not have the luxury of taking days off work to wait around for deliveries and plumbers just to be
