      It took four visits into the store to place our special order for over $6,700. Issues with placing the order with Pro Desk not knowing how to enter an order into computer, knowledgeable staff too busy to enter the order, and no information available about specific products and the Pro Desk not calling the vendor to verify product information! Also, Home Depot outsources deliveries with a third party. Home Depot never put our address into their computer system so the delivery didnt happen on the day Home Depot said it would. Next delivery attempt Home Depot only gave the driver one phone number, we gave Home Depot three. The driver called a cell number instead of the landline number we gave Home Depot and seeing no one answered their call they assumed no one was home and they took everything back to the store. We have No cell reception at our house. So again, no delivery although workers were on site waiting for materials to start work. The order was then picked up by our contractor to begin working ASAP since a crew was on site ready to work. All items were shrink wrapped on pallets so you could not see what was there. Once at the site a quick inventory revealed items were missing from the order. Home Depot responded that they could reorder the missing items, but it would take weeks for them to arrive since they are special order items. We already waited over four weeks to receive the order and the workers are installing the siding now. We did not receive the special order matching caulk for the ************************************** Sadly we returned home from being with my dad who is in active hospice care in another state hoping the missing items were still at the back of the store. The Assistant Manager looked and said the items are not there. Did the items arrive from the vendor? We will never know, but we do know that Home Depot cares nothing about customer ********************** or going the extra mile in times of need.

      I have bought multiple appliances through Home Depot before, and they were great. Last Month, I bought a ******* refrigerator from Home Depot in Woodbury for $1500. They shipped the refrigerator to my house. The refrigerator did not dispense water after I hooked my new water line to the refrigerator. I called Home Depot the next day regarding the issue I was having, and asked them if I can return the unit, or have it replaced, since it was under 24hrs. and they had a 48hrs warranty return policy if the appliance is not working. The customer ********************** at Home **********************, said that they couldn't help me due to the fact that their supervisor was not working over the weekend, and they would not be able to help me or acknowledge their Return policy. They said that they will have their setup team to come and inspect the unit during the following week. when their setup/inspection team came to look and troubleshoot the refrigerator, they said that they will send me a replacement refrigerator. So, after a week goes by, I did not hear from Home Depot, I call for a follow up, Home Depot said that I need to call ******* and deal with them since it was over their 48hrs return policy, and that ******* should be able to do something for me or replace my unit. I called *******, and ******* send their appliance service personal over to inspect the unit, and the appliance personal told me that the refrigerator will need a new line from valve to door, somewhere is crimped shut from the manufacture. So I called *******, and they said that if I need a replacement, I should call Home Depot. When I call Home Depot, they tell me to call *******. Looks like they both can't work together and find a solution, and no one wants to take ownership of the defective refrigerator. Its been almost 3 weeks, and nothing has been done. I hope one of them will take ownership and replace the defective refrigerator. I am very disappointed with my purchase through Home Depot and the way they handle my concern.

      Countertop sales guy lied to me about countertop being in stock. I specifically said that I do not want to wait months because my countertops will be ripped out. They sent me to the wrong fabricator first who never contacted me. I contacted them after 1.5 weeks of hearing nothing and they told me they couldn't install that material. I contacted home depot who set me up with another fabricator and then home depot disappeared when I told them the material was not in stock like they told me. Now I work with the fabricator myself to get everything done. I have no idea what home depots cut is in this process but maybe that should go to me since I am the only one following up and working with the fabricator. 8 weeks and counting brushing my teeth in the kitchen sink. What a horrible experience. A rep reached out to me on ******* to "help" then said that the local store was in communication with me on a resolution so they couldn't do anything. Another lie. I haven't heard from the local store in 2 weeks since I had to call in to give them more money because they were off in their estimate.

      I have been involved for well over a month trying to have a countertop replaced in my kitchen. I have spoken or written to at least six different people at **** Depot and their subcontractor ******************, (located in ********** with an agency on Vancouver Island) never knowing exactly who was responsible for what. The written documents explaining the process were contradicted by the real process, online links malfunctioned, people's spoken words were contradicted by the written documents. Finally, I paid in full for the counter installation on February 13, 2023. I was told I would hear from ****************** in a few days. Five days later February 18, having had no news from anyone, I emailed **** in the kitchen ********** of **** Depot requesting him to contact ****************** and keep me in the loop. There was no response. The 22 February, nine days after having paid and still having heard nothing, I telephoned **** Deport at 9:30 am requesting to speak to ****, head of the kitchen ********** who had previously told me I could contact her for any problems. The recorded automatic message asked me to leave a message, so I left my phone number requesting a return call. Again, no response. I am fed up. I feel that **** Depot should be paying me, not me paying them, for all the rigamarole they have put me through. I want to cancel the whole operation and be refunded in full the money I have spent. How? I cannot seem to contact anyone at **** Depot. Working with the Home Depot bureaucracy has been very trying, to say the least.

      Home Depot is woefully misleading on their website offerings. We purchased vinyl flooring using the ** website and the website DID NOT inform us the flooring would be shipped from manufacturer by FedEs. We had a flood and needed new flooring. When the flooring arrived and our installers began the installation work, ALL of the flooring was damaged. Home Depot would not rectify the cock-up and we sit on our unfinished without flooring living room bare floor. Shopper trying to use the ** website should be warned that what they might believe is at a ** store, what a customer might receive is not what was purchased. Bad form and dang poor customer **********************. Won't shop Home Depot again...EVER!

      Store charged me twice for the same item only rung up once. Was immediately told at checkout it was a hold and it would fall off, it did not. 48 hours later I called and spoke to the manager who told me it was not his problem and suggested I was trying to steal from them. He did not bother checking the sales report, did not check the stock on hand, did not look at my receipt, didnt ask one question but immediately dismissed me and hung up on me.

      Its to bad I have to choose a star to leave a review. The associate helping us at first was great! I have made numerous purchases at Home Depot. It all went down hill from there. Our associate stepped away to see if the appliance we were looking for was in stock. The associate gave us permission to look at the pics of the appliance he had pulled up on his computer screen. As we were doing so, a female associate, while helping another customer, told us to get away from the computer that it was not meant for public use. I explained to her we were looking at the appliance we were purchasing. She became demanding and rude that we could not be on the computer. Again I said we were looking at pics. Anywho, I asked for her manager. The manager came over and before I could explain in detail, he told us to get out of his store and we could not speak to his associates that way. I tried to tell him how rude she was but he would not listen. He shouted at us, pointing his finger, demanding we leave his store. The female associate laughed in our face as we passed by her in our way out. Never have I experienced such hostility from a place of business. Those two individuals should be reprimanded! I deserve a written apology at the least.

      I did a project loan to have my kitchen remodel. My job start date was May, 2022 and was supposed to be completed July 2022. They did not start until October 13 . 2022 and were in February.2023 and the job is still not completed. I was without water for about a month once they took the cabinets and sink out. I had to eat out three times a day by me being diabetic. Thru this process they were very unprofessional. I file a complaint, they kept me a bill for payment which I was and then stop because they hadnt started my job. Never offered anything for the inconvenience.. I still waiting and they still sending me bills for payment.

      I was thinking of paying someone to install a secuity door for my home. Family persuaded me to buy security door and have homedepot install the door. I have always paid someone to fix things around my home. I was told that home depot are professional and any mistake made homedepot will correct and fix at no cost to the customer. I decided to buy door and have ******************** install door. On September 5, 2022 I contracted homedepot to install security door on my home. The contract read. Install wooden trim first against the wall then s**** the frame and door on the trim. 1. Trim was not put on.2. Gap was between the locking mechanism and the frame. Easily for someone to unlock door.3. The frame boards which the metal frame sets against cracked due to screws are large in diameter which cracked the boards.The job was incomplete as the contract stated. I went to home depot to try to get resoved and they refused to replace the boards that they damaged and blamed it on the boards were old.They homedepot management blamed poor work on the customer and the boards. I am dissappointed of the poor customer skills and management. They refused to fix the boards that they damaged. Basically damaged my home and simply blamed me for the wooden boards being old. I know that if i could afford a lawyer i would definetly get more money than what i paid for their service. These business are taking advantage of customer rights and there is no one to stand up and help. But as for me i will begin to go to Lowes instead. I wish we could *** these companies that abuse there right to serve customer.
