1 starI have had such a terrible experience with this company. They destroyed my home with damage their delivery driver caused ! WHICH I HAD ON CANERA!!! And their insurance company reached out to me and tried to blame the city! They went down my driveway on my property without permission and caused me 1499$ worth of damage and left it! I disgusting display of customer **********************. ********* at their insurance company was incredibly unhelpful and a sad excuse as a representative at this company - all this time still have never heard from here after countless voicemails. 1 starOrdered 30 boxes online on the 24th of Feb, delivery date was supposed to today March 1st. Status was not updated so called and immediately the csr agent placed the blame on ****** So i called ***** to find out that Home Depot never scheduled a pick up with ****** ***** advised to call back Home Depot and ask for the scheduled confirmation # if they can't provide one means they never scheduled one to begin. Called Home Depot again asking for the confirmation # since they said they did send it to ***** but couldn't give me that number. So i asked when can i expect my order? They said they have to open a case that can take 1 to 2 business days. Once someone gets to my case from there they will figure things out. You got to be kidding. For a billion dollar company that is just utter disgrace and bad unethical practice. The CSR agent said they have to email internally instead of calling each other. What the heck is Home Depot spending their money on? So with the frustration, since my order hasn't been picked up by ***** I asked for a refund on my order. They said because it is in shipped status (when it hasn't been shipped) they cannot refund/cancel my order. Home Depot just makes excuses and excuses instead of trying to go the extra mile for their customers. So now once again Home Depot is holding my money hostage because their idiotic WH team didn't do their jobs. Another thing I like to add is. HIRE PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO WORK FOR THE COMPANY AND ENJOYS THEIR JOBS. Every single CSR agent I spoke to today were miserable and was ******* to get me off the phone. DESPICABLE ATTITUDE. Myself, family, and friends will no longer purchase anything from Home Depot moving forward.The Home Depot

1 starWe bought carpeting for our house at the Home Depot in ********, ****, that costed ** over $4000. Since that was a large purchase, we expected to love it. We have purchased many things from Home Depot and we have always had good things to say about them. This is the first time we made a large purchase there. The guys that installed the carpet did a fantastic job! After running the sweeper for the first time, I was very disappointed in the way it looked because every step we took showed up very boldly on the carpet. We didn't mind the sweeper marks but the footprints following was horrible. The next day we went to the Home Depot and told them we were not happy and showed a picture of why. They told us that all of their carpet is that way and there is nothing they could do about it. Funny that the carpet we had before they installed the new wasn't like that at all. I always thought every purchase was supposed to have a satisfaction guarantee, but evidently not carpet. They said they would notify the company that supplies the carpet and let us know. We received a voicemail the next day telling us to either sweep the carpet more often or don't go in that room. That was horrible advice and our whole house has that carpet. They treated this situation like it was a joke. I decided to call the corporate office and they took the info down to give to someone to look into it. We waited several days with no response so my husband called and got nowhere. They said someone would be calling us the next day, but that didn't happen. We were trying to get this resolved before our new furniture came so we didn't have to move the furniture again. Since we got our new furniture 3 weeks later, we decided that we are just going to have to live with it since we weren't contacted, but I regret getting carpet through them and would not recommend them to anyone. It was over $4000 waisted and we are sick about it. They wouldn't even consider refunding any of our money.The Home Depot

1 starI purchased a Ridgid air compressor from Home Depot on 02/05/2023. The air compressor was too small for what I needed so I ordered a different compressor online from Home Depot on 02/10/2023. I went to Home Depot on 02/18/2023 to return the Ridgid air compresor. I was greeted with a "Yes?" by the customer ********************** assoicate *******. I lost the card I used and ******* wanted to give me store credit, I declined and requested cash as I did not pay with a gift card or credit card. ******* began interrogating me asking me for proof that the card was mine and said she found it weird that I lost a card I just used a couple of days ago. I requested a manager, the manager never came but told ******* to issue me my refund in cash. ******* attempted to put my cash refund on the counter instead of in my hand, while I had my hand out until I told her to put it in my hand. Its very rude that I was treated this way, and the only reason I returned the $129.00 air compressor was because I ordered a replacement online from Home Depot for $578.The Home Depot

1 starOrdered new windows & put deposit down Jan.4 2022 Took 6 months for only partial of windows to install. When they did install partial windows they broke 2 of the window frames. That took another 4 months to come in and install. when they came out to finish installing the remander windows they order the wrong windows. Finished reinstalling the broken frames with old sashes, ( not a new window). ( I did not pay for mix & match windows). When installed the sashes do not fit the window frame now. waited 4 more months for new sashes, they do not window frames. When installer put sashes in the dining room window he broke the frame. Now I have to wait for a new widow from Home Depot to order a new window & have this installer fix the bedroom window. Probably take another 4 months, needless to say I am upset with their so called ******************** highest standards installers. Their windows quality themselves, cold air coming through. & not happy at all with Corporate helping with this problem. They have not helped ( at least in my opinion), because nothing has been resolved yet.The Home Depot

1 starI contracted Home Depot to do my Huracn window for my house in ** back in 5/22/2001 because the sales person asur to me that going with Home Depot was a head ache free deal. So I got convinced an I purchased over $58k worth in huracn windows. Had a guy come out and measure all the windows openings within days and leave with what apear a good plan back then I got a call telling me that my windows would be install around Nov of 2021. When Home Depot installer show up they installed only a 1/3 of the windows of the entire project because the rest where the wrong size or the wrong glasses so a field manager came out to remeasure again. Home Depot then called and email days later to said that because of COVID the rest of the windows were delayed for 6 to 8 months. Installers came back around July **** with what it should been the rest of my windows but they only could install one because the rest of the windows were wrong sizes again. Home Depot send the same Tech to remeasure all the windows again then I got an email saying that because of Huracn *** hitting the west coast my windows were delayed until February 27/2003 for installation. Here we are again installer comes out and cant install the first remaining window again because Home Depot send the wrong size windows for the third time. This is the worst experience dealing with a big retailer like HOME DEPOT that sends out a sales person to homes to sell something that they cant deliver per the contract. I was sold this windows with misleading information ( Head Ache Free ) this is not even close to be that !I reached out to Headquarters today and they are telling me that I need to wait ******************************************** like I havent waited enough already, by the way Home Depot is handling this issue it could take another year to get part of the rest of the windows if nothing happens between now and them.The Home Depot

1 starWe purchased an ** refrigerator with in door water/ice maker February 9th including a stainless steel water line, scheduled for delivery February 15th. ******** arrived as scheduled however the two associates were under an influence. The unit being delivered measured 33 wide however the two doors the crew measured were only 34 which they deemed too small to fulfill delivery. The delivery duo failed to measure two other doors, one measuring 36 and the other 40 . The delivery canceled by the duo, who left with refrigerator and line.We called the store explained the problems, were informed because the delivery was cancelled we had to repurchase the refrigerator and start the process over again. A new delivery date was scheduled for February 22nd.A different delivery team arrived as scheduled without the water line. The team leader explained they would not have installed the water line because the water pipe was greater than 6 feet from the unit. The existing water line was not compatible because the new refrigerator required a threaded line, which was not explained at time of sale. The delivery team would not plug in the unit either to verify it functioned, although the store advertised installation. After delivery we called Home Depot to locate the water line, were informed that the line was errantly omitted from the re-order. After explaining the ordeal, we were offered a $150.00 credit as compensation for the experience, which had to redeem in person at the store. We went to the store as instructed on February 24th, were advised we were not required to process the credit in person, the credit would appear on our account automatically. The credit appeared on February 25th.Our experience was poor, wrought with misinformation, unprofessionalism, and ignorance, wasting hours of our time, creating inconvenience, and costing us more than the credit. We would not recommend Home Depot as first or top choice for the purchase of a major appliance.The Home Depot

1 starOrdered dishwasher from the store, was told it would be delivered in 3 days. They changed the delivery to a week later the next day. When delivery was set up for 7am to 11 am. it never arrived. I called 800 number and after a few calls back and forth it was deemed lost. I said to cancel order and get a refund. The refund for the extended insurance came the next day but still do not have refund on the dishwasher. Home depot is still saying they cannot refund the money until they find the dishwasher, CRAZY. I did not lose it, I never saw it. I am going through **** now. DO NOT ORDER ANYthing from them. Last time for me!The Home Depot

1 starOrdered a dishwasher online. People came out four times. Each time there was a different excuse of why the dishwasher couldn't be installed. The excuses were unreasonable and flimsy. I wonder if the delivery people even know how to do the install we paid for!! Finally asked for a refund and ordered through Lowes. Worst experience I've ever had on something that should be extremely straightforward.The Home Depot
