1 starI ordered an item from HomeDepot.com in Nov, 2022. All went well. In mid-Jan. of this year, my account with HomeDepot.com was hacked into and other people not using my name made 6 fraudulent charges through my account which went directly to my credit card. I found this out after I received my card statement. I spoke with a very nice man at Home Depot.com and told him about these charges I did not order. He told me what the items were, where they were shipped to, and who had ordered them. I contacted my card *** and they said that they would open a case and investigate. I gave them all the information I had and who I spoke with at Home Depot.com. 1 1/2 months later my card company informed me via a letter that I was the one responsible for those charges. Something went horribly wrong. I am not sure they even investigated my case. I called Home Depot.com back and told them that I wanted a refund to my card on these orders I did not authorize. They turned it over to their security **** and I was told I would be called back within 24 hours. That didn't happen. I called them back and was able to speak with a person in security. She told me that I would have to work it out with my credit card company. I told her they aren't even looking into it. She would not help me one bit. She kept reading me her script telling me to work through my card ***. I told her that it is their responsibility to protect the account that I have with them. I am their customer! They let a number of other people use my account and they do not care! She said they will open a case. I asked her when they will get back to me. She told me that there is no time limit for them to get back to me. I doubt that they would ever get back. This is a horrible policy. They don't care what happens to their customers. They only want your money! NEVER shop on HomeDepot.com. You might be the next victim! My card *** did listen to me the 2nd time and I have been reimbursed my $4,200 ! 1 stari wanted to buy some window coverings from Home Depot, and I needed measurements and installation, which is provided as a service. I followed the online link from the Home Depot website and was put in touch with a Home Depot Design Consultant. He was very aggressive, pushy, and deceitful. I told him I had picked out some blinds from the website, and he told me they would not be able to custom fit them to my windows because they came pre-measured. I was OK with this because they were a lot less expensive than the blinds he was pushing me towards. I told him I would be OK with the pre-measured blinds, please send me the installer to measure first, then install later. He said fine and set it up.10 days later, someone comes out, a contractor, measures and leaves. I ******************** from Home Depot, message our Design Consultant to set up the installer to come back after the blinds arrive, and he tells me he cannot do that and cancels my install. I ask why, and he said because they only install their own custom blinds, which apparently are not Home Depot after all, but a company named ******. I am confused and ask for help, and his response is very rude and aggressive and tells me to call customer ********************** (who btw were also super confused).I write this review as a warning to all who seek to purchase window treatments from Home Depot. Some items on the website can only be installed by your local store blinds department, while other, more expensive custom fit treatments go through a different company and install process. DO NOT BE FOOLED - you will pay 2x or more for the custom work, and while they say they are Home Depot, they are not. If you get routed to ***** for your install appointment, you've gone down the custom design path. I only found out what was going on by walking into my local Home Depot and talking to the manager. I recommend you find your own installer, or go in store and talk to someone directly. Good luck!The Home Depot

1 starI bought a new ******* washer/dryer in late December with the base drawers for them to sit on. The washer/dryer set was delivered late december and the drawers were out of stock so didnt ship until late feb. When they were installing the bases Home Depot's move people dropped my washer and caused something in the barrel to come loose. I called their service department to come check it and they called their supervisor and recommended a replacement. They told me i would hear back in a few days. Couple weeks go by and still nothing. I called every home depot department I could and the answer i get is that i need to contact ******* for service. I call ******* and explain what my washer is doing and their immediate response is that it sounds like the washer was dropped and/or damaged and i need to call home depot. Every time i call home depot they tell me i need to work it out with *******. I even tried returning the appliances to home depot so i could just buy them elsewhere only be informed appliances are excluded form the 90 day return period and are only returnable within 48 hours.The Home Depot

1 starWe ordered a ** Fridge (Store SKU# XXXXXXXX) from Home Depot on 02/18/2023 (order # XXXXXXXX). First fridge was delivered to us broken. I got a second fridge scheduled for delivery. This fridge was delivered defective. A third fridge was rescheduled and delivered broken as well. I called Home Depot for next steps. They offered a "white glove treatment" where the fridge would be inspected for damages and defects before it is delivered. I requested to be put on the phone with ** and Home Depot to hear directly from ** that they would offer the "white glove treatment." ** refused to speak to me, admitted to Home Depot that the model is defective, and decided to cancel our order to which Home Depot obliged and I had no choice but to agree to. Home Depot said they would refund our card for the ** fridge. Home Depot then offered a 25% discount if we ordered a different fridge from them under. So we ordered a Whirlpool (Store SKU # XXXXXXXX, order # CPXXXXXX). They also promised a white glove treatment. This fridge delivered to us broken, no white glove treatment was done. I called Home Depot for a reschedule and they informed me that Whirlpool AND the warehouse will inspect the fridge for damages/defects. This delivery is scheduled for Saturday 03/18/2023. They also gave us a $250 gift card instead of giving us a better discount and a working fridge. We legally paid for a fridge that we have not received and Home Depot still has all of our money, including the money from the first order. They have not refunded the first order claiming that there was a "glitch in their system" that only IT can solve. This does not add up and I feel scammed. They have over $3,000 of our money and we have no refund nor fridge. All we want is to receive a non damaged/non defective fridge and our money back from order # XXXXXXXX. We did receive a refund for the haul away/installation charges under order # XXXXXXXX, but Home Depot cant refund the fridge because of a glitch? SCAM.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered a washer and dryer. The day before expected delivery, they called and said the washer wasnt available and it would be a month delay. I canceled the order for refund. I was refunded the money for the dryer but not the washer. Ive been given several excuses why it wasnt refunded. Its been close to a month and still no refund, just promises that someone will get back to me. Im still awaiting a resolution. I was told that the refund wasnt issued because the item wasnt available. That is why the order was canceled in the first place. I have purchased the items from another company and have had them for a couple of weeks now, and STILL dont have a refund for my cancelled order.The Home Depot

1 starOrdered appliances January 20 havent received they now say they had to reorder now will be March 16 2023. Would not recommend them no consideration no compensation, have to eat out or microwave since February 23 received email to remove old appliances which still worked February 22. 1 star*****Do not buy appliances from Home Depot! I***** I repeat, ***** do not buy appliances from Home Depot!!! I am very upset for the service I M recieving from this company. This is the first time me using the. To purchase an appliance and I wish I would have purchase from Best Buy. I have been rescheduled twice for the delivery if my washer**** order# WP59950832. First they had to reschedule me due to my order date changing when I schedule for a sat due to my hectic work week. I even contacted the customer ********************** a day before a Friday and they inform me that I sh mahouts receive a calll with an eta window for delivery by the evening. That never happen and I call the day of delivery and was informed my date was pushed to Tuesday and no one would be home. So I rescheduled for the following Saturday. Fast forward to the day before I receive the calll letting me know my item will be delivered tomorrow with an eta window. On Saturday, the driver calls me and say he is 20 minutes away. After 20 mins Home Depot calls to me let me know we have to reschedule. Now I am very upset at this point. I have to make arrangements to ensue that someone is home and and have piles of clothes to wash. I spoke to the rep to get more information on how we can get this resolved and letting her know next sat schedule for me is tight. now I have to find someone to be home. I asked if she would provide an eta and she stated. They would be able to provide an eta window of delivery the day before. She said she would talk to someone and put me on hold and phone hangs up. I called back and spoke to another rep who was pleasant. I asked the same questions and received the same answer. So now, I rescheduling again for an another day and praying I get my washer. If I do not receive it, I will have to cancel my order. This is such an inconvenience for a working single mom. Now I have to drag myself and the kids to the laundry this weekend and change my plans. 1 starI am writing with regard to the North ******* Home Depot. We ordered new appliances for our home on January 14th. They consist of a standard refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. We paid approximately $5,100 for the merchandise that day. This does not include the substantial kitchen remodel we contracted with Home Depot. We arranged for delivery on February 10th. The Home Depot cancelled the delivery and rescheduled for February 16th. After providing us with a literal last minute cancellation, Home Depot rescheduled again on March 9th. After yet another reschedule, Home Depot cancelled our delivery today. This does not include the times we had to reschedule due to Home Depot scheduling on days we explicitly told them we would not be available.Home Depot has not delivered our appliances two months after we have paid for our merchandise. Customer ********************** was inept at addressing our issues with Home Depot's delivery delays. The third party Home Depot contracted to deliver our appliances gave us no accommodation for the delivery or worked with us to find an alternative path.As a result we had to completely cancel our purchase. A complete refund will be pending. I will be sure to update this review if we do not receive it in a timely fashion. We will not do business with the Home Depot and we advise anyone working on home improvement projects to take your business elsewhere. If feasible we would also cancel the entire kitchen remodel. This company's shoddy customer ********************** and inability to deliver are frankly embarrassing. For a company with self-proclaimed expertise in home improvement, it has much to learn when it comes to transacting business.The Home Depot

1 starPurchased a dishwasher from Home Depot and arranged delivery. Dishwasher was damaged and never installed. Told they would call for new delivery date but delivery showed up without notification. I called to inform delivery I was out of town, then rescheduled the delivery for March 10. Returned to town to receive the dishwasher but no one showed up. Contacted Home Depot who said they no longer had the dishwasher and wouldn't be able to deliver it until after March 15. No apologies, no offer of compensation for returning twice from out of town AT THEIR REQUEST....NOTHING.I will never do business with Home Depot again.The Home Depot
