1 starI had my kitchen cabinets re-faced and a new countertop installed for 28k in December 2022.I had two issues with the install. One the cabinet pull was mounted on a door near my dishwasher, that blocked it from opening. And some of the laminate was installed poorly that has a crack and needed to be redone. I called into the scheduling department to have these things corrected.I was given an estimate of 10 to 12 weeks to wait for this.Now, it's been 11 weeks and 3 days and counting. I started calling a week ago. And no one can tell me when they can schedule the repair.My rep ****** when I spoke to the first time, said "Yeah, your stuff is in".My logical jump was why wouldn't she had been the one to call me, If my stuff had come in.2 days went by and no call back, so I call and emailed the Sales Manager ****** and she won't return the call or any of the 2 emails I sent. I called my sales rep **** who had said when I met with him, he would definitely be available to call me back if I had any issues.Finally, my husband called and spoke to ****** who is saying the person who does the scheduling has been out of the office and we will have to wait for her to get back in.I also called the escalation department, spoke with someone who transferred me to another person who transferred me back to ******. And ******* we know, can't schedule because her co-worker isn't at work.My overview is Home Depot has a strange work flow, that keeps work from getting done.That I will avoid using them in the future since what they are good at is a vanishing.What does a consumer do, should I pay the 28k and pay a second repairmen to fix what Home Depot is avoiding?The Home Depot

1 starI purchased tools online and received all of them but the most expensive item. I reported the incident and advised them that the company next door admitted to receiving it, but it was sent back. I called Home Depot again and asked to be reimbursed for the item. They stated that since their system showed it was delivered to the correct address reimbursement was not an option. I would have to file a claim with the carrier and wait. I should not have to jump through hoops to receive an item I already payed for. I believe Home Depot shouldve file the claim and taken care of their customer. It seems that Home ********************** has forgotten what customer ********************** really means. Finding a different vendor moving forward.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot on ************ has sign in the garden **** that say 5 for 5 on certain plants today, March 22, 2023. However, they will not honor these prices until tomorrow or Friday. There is NO date on these signs so why are they there today. After 30 minutes of trying to find someone to help me or honor the price today, I finally just left. Tis is in my opinion, very dishonest and should be stopped.The Home Depot

1 starI've spent tens of thousands of dollars at Home Depot, including an extended warranty for a dishwasher that has been defective since it was poorly installed by Home Depot's independent contractors. I'm now being told that despite filing claims during the initial warranty period that did not address the defectiveness of the appliance, they will not replace or refund the appliance because their warranty does not cover "pre existing conditions." So they are fine selling defective goods, sending people who do not know how to install them to install them, and then not helping a customer when things go wrong through no fault of the customer. I've reached out to Home ********************** several times and they refuse to assist. I would even be happy with an exchange or a store credit--all I want is a functional dishwasher.The Home Depot

1 starOrdered a refrigerator. The first delivery did not come at the planned time and the fridge itself was heavily damaged. We rescheduled. The second fridge (which they did not discount in spite of their s**** up) was set for an afternoon delivery but on the day before it was delivered, they decided to change the time to early morning. My family all works, by the way. So that left impacts with our employers. When the second delivery was made, the driver decided not to make the delivery due to "unsanitary conditions". They were at first just going to leave the old fridge but then decided they also wouldn't deliver the new one. When I called and complained my order was force-cancelled because I was rude.I don't know how this store is still in business or why BBB gives them an A+. They are discriminatory, rude, and only care about money. They're hostile at best when you go to their store. This company need to be shut down.The Home Depot

1 starThis remodel has been a nightmare from the start. The Home Depot wants nothing but your money . We started our project in August 2022 for a kitchen remodel . After we paid $15000.00 dollars for the flooring project and an additional $35000 for our new cabinets with Home Depot they never contacted us once in over five months. We kept reaching out over and over for some communication about our cabinets and nothing finally a week out from installation I get a text telling me they will be delivering a week early . The cabinets were installed and they didnt put I. The trim work . They told me the flooring install guy would do the finish work on the flooring .. the flooring guy tells me that its not on his work order and its not his problem. The cabinet guys show up and put dings in the tailgate of my truck in my garage to cut the trim work . Absolute s*** show ! ***** the cabinet guy says the flooring guy will finish the cabinets and the flooring guy says its not his problem and he wont do it ***** is a pile of s*** and doesnt want to finish the cabinet project . A meeting with the store manager and finally that gets done . The door we had Home Depot install is now an issue and they didnt account for the sub floor that had to be removed. They tore it out and the door now has no support under it . Depot then charges us for half the cost of fixing the door when they knew it was supposed to be one floor and one level . Home Depot at ************ is a complete s*** show . When we confronted the store manager he hid behind his Assistant manager like a b**** . Do not buy a thing from Home Depot as they dont know their business and dont care about anything but your money in the pocket of the company . When I called **** in their install office we could hear on our cell phone say oh its those a******* the Burtons and they are complaining again if your smart dont ever do business with the Home Depot . They are out for nothing but stealing your money.The Home Depot

1 starHow to write exactly how this HORRIBLE experience went in only **** characters will be hard. My husband bought me a fridge. He was in a meeting when it was to arrive but I was excited to receive it so I took time off work to wait for the delivery. When it arrived the delivery man didnt even give me a chance to say hello before he started giving me grief for not clearing the path enough for him. I apologized profusely, since I would have cleared the little bit of snow if I had known. Extremely easy going people, I ran out to get a shovel to clear the little that was blocking his path. As I was shovelling his path he contributed to berate me and stood behind me to hurry me up. I kept informing him that I was sorry it wasnt cleared and I am doing it right now as fast as I could. I started to feel intimidated and started to get upset and cry, to which the man then LAUGHED AT ME. When the snow was cleared enough for him I asked if I could get anything else out of the way? (There was a doormat - I wanted to make sure this wasnt going to impact him) to which the guy then kept telling me to just get into my house and get out of his way so he can do his job. I waited on the stairs while the men brought my fridge and parts in, every time he passed by me he starred me down TO INTIMIDATE ME IN MY OWN HOUSE! And he laughed as he did it. When they were done I politely asked him to leave my house and he walked as slowly as he could and kept yelling I did my job over and over. I felt horrible and scared and intimidated. So, I called the store right away. They were apologetic and told me someone would be calling me from the delivery company. Passing it off I guess. Its been a week and nothing! JUST APPALLING! Im actually terrified of delivery people now. I hate that he made an my exciting day such a horrible memory and experience.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered a washer and dryer set from the website to be delivered this weekend, on a confirmation email I was shown that home Depot would be sending two DRYERS instead of the set that is offered together on their web page. I explained this to the customer ********************** agent and they assure me that I had no idea what I was talking about and the "complete your laundry room" button and section do not exist. The things that I was actively looking at on the website while making this call apparently do not exist. The item numbers that I had directly in front of me, offered as an option to add both to cart, apparently I was hallucinating that. I was put on hold multiple times "so my supervisor can look at your order, so my supervisor can adjust your order, so my supervisor can cancel the order"I'm not sure what the point of this guy's job is other than being a middle man to tell customers they're liars. I made the mistake of buying this 2600$ set through home Depot because it would have been delivered and set up faster, now I have to wait an extra week on top of a 20 minute phone call that made it very clear that home Depot associates have no idea what is on their own website and instead of looking, just gaslighting their customers after putting them on hold for more than half of the phone call. I got no answers. They offered no solutions. "I don't really know what happened and there's nothing we can do" isn't an appropriate answer from a billion dollar corporation.Love being called a liar by a customer ********************** agent that was apparently incapable of looking up information on their own and had to "consult a supervisor" with every single question I had.We'll see if the refund ever actually shows up or not. My mistake for giving home Depot another chance despite knowing about their unethical business practices and treatment of customers and employees, now I'll be waiting twice as long when I should have just ordered from Lowes.Avoid The Home Depot at all cost.
