1 starI signed a contract with Home Depot to replace all windows and sliding door of my home back in September 2022. To date after the first sliding door arrived being the wrong size, they finally replaced it with one they called "stacked" which according to the assisstant manager they found in a warehouse, 4 hours after the day they learnt the first one was too large. They assured me it was exactly the same size and style as the custom made. After installation, I found out it overlaps the exterior wall therefore changing the aesthetic. When the application was made to the *** and city it states same style and size. Obviously the door is the wrong size. Added to that I noticed there is rusting on the joints and yesterday I noticed the storm door is warped, which may be the reason it never locks. It is now more convincing after seeing the warped door and one manager saying it is a "stacked" door the field personnel saying it is a "custom" made door and the manager used the wrong terminology "(conflicting statements)" and the rust is dirt which he couldn't remove, I am wondering if and when customers orders custom made doors they find ones that were rejected in warehouses and install them? Since, so far I found 3 defects. The door is not the same dimension as one replaced. Secondly storm door is warped and thirdly, rust on seams of welding inside and outside. To date they offered me a $500 gift card, instead of trying to negotiate. Customers beware when you are purchasing custom made they may be "stacked" instead . Be cautiousThe Home Depot

2 starsI would give a higher review if it was solely about the windows I purchased. The gentleman who sold me the windows 11/2021 explained the install process that was not what happened. The windows came in 4 months after the order was placed. There was one missing slider so I asked to not schedule the install until all the windows were ready as I did not want to take additional days off work. Being a single mother I need to work as much as possible. I was called the next month to schedule the install and they assured me they had all the windows. When the installers arrived they found out not only were they still missing the slider there was also a broken window. They went ahead and installed the remaining windows in two days, I wished I had not let them start without having all the windows. They left the sliding glass door minus the slider in my garage and there it sat for another 8 months. I called many times and was told the windows were on order. Then in November I found they were not ordered, some computer ordering misscommuniaction so i asked to speak to a manager and he offered me a gift card for my troubles ( I never received this). Then the slider came in, a man was scheduled I took time off work but this man was not trained to install the door. I called and spoke to another manager, ** he apologized and offered me a $500 gift card (I have not received this either) he scheduled someone I took time off work this person didn't show. I called again, ****** told me the window came in. I took time off work, the installer showed but was told by ****** he was only installing 1 window and didn't have time to install both. I called again to get the last item installed took time off work and the installer installed the last window in December 2022. I had to call monthly or every other week. 1 starWe had sliding patio doors installed by The Home Depot installation services in late Fall of 2022. There was some damage on one of the door panels that was preexisting and was supposed to be replaced per warranty by January of 2023. It has not been replaced and we were told the panel was in. I have contacted them 3 or more times about this and some missing parts on the other door panel. I do not recommend Home Depot Installation Services and feel like these sliding doors cost more than they should have. We had to put duct tape on one door during the winter to keep out snow because the plugs used to cover the outside holes for adjustments were missing. 1 starI went inside the the store to purchase a Dewalt tool. I was directed by a store employee towards and end cap with special deals for Dewalt tools. The sign on the end cap stated you get (2) 20 volt 6h battery packs for free if you purchase a combo kit. The store employee confirmed the sign was correct. I proceeded to pay for the combo tool kit and it registered over $600.00. There was a selection to receive the two batteries for free in which the clerk would not select. I spoke with an assistant manager who agreed the signage was improper grammar. The assistant manager told me he couldnt honor the signage and directed me to call Home Depot Corporate office on which I did. I spoke with a customer ********************** representative who stated the Home Depot stores have the right to revoke their own advertisement if the wording was incorrectReview fromGary C

1 starWe bought a ge refridgerator in June of 2019 with a 1 year warranty. In addition we bought a 3yr extended warranty through home depot with the understanding it would take effect when the 1 yr warranty from ge expired. We now have a problem with the fridge and called for warranty coverage. The company tells me our warranty had expired in June of 2022 3yrs from purchase and we have no coverage and that the extended warranty took effect the day we bought it. I argued that why would anyone pay for a yr of coverage on a refridgerator when the warranty that came with the fridge we paid for was already in effect? I asked the sales person repeatedly if the extended took effect after the ge 1 year expired and was told yes 3 times. Very misleading sales person and terrible business practice. This is fraud. We have bought 5 appliances from home depot in the last 5 yrs and will never buy anything from them again. BUYER BEWARE! I cant leave a zero star rating so i guess they get a 1.Review fromChelsea A

1 starWorst customer ********************** ever. We JUST bought an ** washer and dryer set and we have had it for 4 days. Because we didn't call a day earlier, we are stuck with it, and we have to contact the next worst customer ********************** **. NEVER BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT. 1 starI placed an order for a President's *** discounted item on Home Depot's website. The first expected delivery was cancelled and rescheduled. When the second expected delivery date approach, five weeks later, Home Depot cancelled the order, claiming there was a "computer glitch", and they were out of stock.For most of that five weeks prior to the cancellation, they continued to sell the item online at full price. 1 starAfter my warranty for my fridge was over, I have a call from Comerco offering me extent warranty for 4 years at the price of almost ****** which by itself it is a ridiculous amount for an extended warranty. Comerco has an F rating in BBB, one of the worst companies around, read the complaints in BBB and you get a just of it: *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** The only way they would have known that my warranty was over was through Home Depot, I later learned that Home Depot is actively encouraging people to get extended warranties from them! Doesnt Home Depot know that this company is a scam? Why would send their customers to them, how low a company can get, first selling our email address to a third company and now our warranty information to such a company of no morals?The Home Depot

1 starInstallation nightmare. Contracted for windows and sliding doors in September. Including the initial salesperson, three Home Depot reps measured and took pictures of the project. Installation was finally scheduled for 2/13. The installation team was at my house about 1/2 a day on the 13th and the 14th, about 2 hours on the 15th when they left leaving one of the doors wide open, with keys in the lock. I got to clean up the remnants of the leafnado created. 5 weeks and they have not returned to complete the installation, or even clean up their mess. I have made over 20 attempts to resolve by email and phone to the "installation specialist", the "branch installation manager" and the "territory sales manager" with no resolution. I have been told that there was an "unforeseen" issue with the "casing" despite three visits to my home prior to installation. HOME DEPOT cannot trim out windows and doors? Really? My living room has been sealed off for over a month due to the draft from the lack of a seal around the doors and windows and the wood outside has been exposed to the weather, including several storms, for weeks. This ineptitude is astounding. Wish I could give zero stars.The Home Depot

1 starI was in the process of doing a price. The agent approved it and made sure the website that was offering the lower price was legit. I placed the order and just like the agent said I sent the order number as requested. All of sudden I get an automated message and a new agent comes on. Im given some BS about the site being a discount store and what they offer is to cancel my order. What a crock of S*it. Home Depot uses price match to deceive people into buying from them without honoring on their end.The Home Depot
