1 starPurchased a washer with the protection plan. When I needed to use the protection plan they were not prompt and the company they contracted with was not reliable. I cannot get anyone to help me get this washer fixed and even Home Depot is regrettably not helpful in getting a repairman out to fix the washer soon. I would not recommend buying the protection plan at all from Home Depot because when you need to use it they dont actually care enough to help you.Review fromDavid L

1 starOrdered Feltilizer online, was supose to be at store 3/24-29. Called on the 30th them don't have it , can't say where it is either. 1 starI've been shopping with the Home Depot and homedeport.com for so long now. It disheartens me to write a poor review over the experience of a recent online purchase of a major appliance. A product delivered to a nearby store should be at the same level and expectation to an item purchased off the shelf where the customer is able to look and confirm the product packaging that is satisfying. Never mind an additional cost for home delivery to the doorstep can offer any more guarantees on the packaging. I purchased a Bosch Mini Split on three separate occasions over the course of the last month only to return the product back for a full refund. On all three occasions, the box came damaged and the product was left open to be scratched and abused. I certainly did not expect this as the right course of action immediately after the first purchase and I blithely listened to the customer care personnel at the ************************ and at the store hoping the product will be delivered mint on the two retries. Home depot blamed it on the vendor and there was even an attempt to get me in touch with Bosch directly which I refused because my purchase is with the home depot. Heavy, bulkier item should be packed in a manner that is consistent with crate-type packaging that can ensure better and smooth delivery which I, as a customer, am willing to pay for an extra cost if really that's what it takes. In the end, it doesn't help either of us- the customer or the business. To have scratch and dent on a brand new item that squarely to be blamed on packaging issues will probably find another market one day but at a reduced profit. I still love the product but I'm stuck. 1 starWe have had an awful experience with Home Depot's exterior door installation. The website for Home Depot claims to have a "professional service". We have experienced anything but. We paid a significant amount for a new front door and basement patio door. The front door was less than stellar, with them having to return to stop the cold wind from entering our home. The installation was months ago and they have yet to come out and fill holes in the frame or **** a gap. This door, however was the least of our concerns. The patio door was broken when the installers attempted to force the door in. We ended up with a door cracked in multiple places, a ripped screen, and huge gaps at the top of the door letting in the cold winter air. An odd-looking baseboard was put at the bottom of the door. We have many pictures of a job any professional what consider embarrassing at the least. Months later we have no resolution. We have had phone calls not returned when they said they would be, etc. We have been given very little faith in this company. At this point we have asked for a full refund of the patio door that Home Depot can come and retrieve once we hire a professional contractor to complete what should be a pretty straightforward job. We have been informed that this is not an option and the only thing we can do is wait a few more months for the job to be done right and a small monetary compensation. We, however has lost all faith the the job will eventually be done right and just want to pay for the front door and have a refund on the patio door. Any company who cares about their reputation would make things right. We are still waiting for the Home Depot to make things right.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered a refrigerator online for delivery since was not available at the local store. Before the refrigerator was delivered it went on sale for a special buy. Home Depot refused to do a price adjustment even though the refrigerator had to come out of the same stock used for the special buy. They said they do not do price adjustments for special buy sales and to check the policy. I did and nothing is said about excluding special buys. They had my money so they just kept it instead of honoring their written policy.The Home Depot

1 starThe worst window replacement and customer ********************** ever. I will never purchase windows or any home installation services through the Home Depot again. I agree with other reviews that Home Depot does not take responsibility and makes the customer chase to solve any issue. We purchased multiple windows through Home Depot and had the worst installation process who did not clean up the epoxy smears on the glass panes and had installed cracked windows. When the installer came back to clean the windows and replace some of *****************, the installer picked a fight with my husband which resulted in an escalated screaming match. By this time, we were under warranty for the last cracked glass replacement. 1 year later, the Home Depot has not replaced this last cracked glass pane. There has been multiple installation confirmations with no-show failures. Our case has been passed to multiple managers and schedulers. Home Depot will not confirm an installation timeline. The installers do not show up when the Home Depot says they will. We are not asking for a lot. We just want our last cracked window replaced and honored under the Home Depot guarantee. This window was reported as cracked during the initial installation. I am pregnant and will be giving birth to our first child soon. I need this window replaced as soon as possible.The Home Depot

1 starI placed a simple order with Home Depot One item They said it would be delivered in 7 days Well 9 days later not only did it not come yet but Home depot has no idea where it is They said it was shipped but now no tracking The number just says no tracking information After over 35 minutes on text help from Home depot no help at all They have the worse customer ********************** I will not ever order from them againThe Home Depot

1 starPurchased a refrigerator from Home Depot. They used an outside delivery service that damaged a door frame. I sent pictures and filed a damage claim. I agreed upon $100 for paint, I would furnish the labor. I was told on two occasions, I would be mailed a check. Weeks later, ************* associate said he had to order new checks, weeks later, he had a death in the family and would mail me a check. No check, no response. So far, Home Depot, ************* and ******** have not responded.What liars.The Home Depot

1 starI will never shop Home Depot again. I bought windows last April and they are yet to be installed and complete. They had to do stucco cutouts after I was told that they would not have to when I purchased the windows My house has been torn apart since December. 2022. I am now having to spend more money out of my pocket to paint my house. The stucco company that Home Depot hired did not do the job correctly and they Were unable to communicate with me since they didnt speak english. My yard had so much stucco, nails, metal and debris in it when they left. I told them that they werent doing the trim around the windows correctly but they proceeded with the job anyway. Now I have to wait to pass an inspection. It has already failed 3 inspections. No one knows how to communicate nor does anyone return calls. The manager has no idea what they are doing. Everyone just keeps making excuses up instead of getting the job done correctly.The Home Depot
