      Was on the Home Depot website, purchased a washer, and there was a system glitch. I called in and asked why my order was cancelled without notice, they said they cannot honor due to the computer glitch. Many others were also affected by the same glitch, and different people speaking to customer ********************** got different solutions. I just requested to have the same solution as someone else had received. However Home Depot did not honor the same solution. I urge Home Depot to review their policies and if you decide to not honor any glitches, then have the same approach to not honoring any solution, or offer the same solution to every customer. I would like to know how the process is for customer complaints and have more transparency as I cannot help but feel like I was discriminated as Home Depot knows well that the same solution was offered to more than 1 person.

      I am a local contractor in ****. I recently ordered some tile for a job from home depot online services. The first order was messed up they sent 3 box of the wrong tile and they were broken on top of that. Went to exchange at a local store that was a waste of time. Just ordered more to keep my job moving forward. I get the second order it is the right tile but every single piece in each box was shattered. I'm livid at this point I call the customer ********************** line and all they can do is refund me after they receive the returned damaged product and charge me for a new shipment. No expedite shipping no discount they just want to charge me for something I have purchased 2 times already. This is by far the worst customer ********************** I have ever had in my life. I'm done with this company after this job all I am doing is losing money with these a--holes. If the next tile shipment is damaged and I have to play this game again I am going to the Attorney General regarding these terrible business practices.

      I made an order for a dishwasher from homedepot.com the delivery guys went to the wrong house , we call them immediately , they refused to do the delivery. Call the corporate number, they promise they would be back . Never show up. Call again they said they would have to reschedule the appointment. Long story short no dishwasher me and my wife miss work for this company to do a delivery that never came. The level of incompetence and lack of disregard for peoples time is beyond me . I will rather give my business ti someone else , then to shop here ever again.

      Horrible, horrible customer **********************!!! They delivered a vanity to us that is cracked and they refuse to replace it. We bought it at a sale price and they refuse to price match?? We just wanted a replacement sent out. Do not buy from them!!!

      I've been duped by Home Depot for the second time in about 3 months. In December I had an issue with a gift card. I was assured by Home Depot's customer ********************** team that it would be rectified through the store. The store claimed it could not be rectified through them, and thus began my journey spending hours on the phone, sending in every piece of requested documentation and yet still left without resolution - more importantly out 200 dollars.Most recently I ordered a gazebo, I paid for installation and now I am left with an unsecure structure on my property due to Home Depot selling products without all parts included with the only two options of resolution being wait a month with this insecure structure and hope no injuries or property damage occur or pay to have it dissembled, pay to have the concrete it is anchored into made back to how it was and proceed to return this 300 pound item to the store. I am absolutely appalled at how difficult Home Depot makes it for the customer to resolve issues with their **********************. It is alarming and cunning behavior that is akin to a scam. It seems the business practice they've adopted is to bounce customers from one help desk to the desk with each saying the other will help until the customer is exhausted and gives in. In this way Home Depot steals money they do not deserve from their customers. I would reconsider any purchases of moderate to high value, go to Lowes.

      I bought a Ryobi Generator during Hurricane ***. It blew up and smoked. I took it back within the right amount of time. A manager there told me that these were used and had carb gunk problems and he had been fixing them all day that was OCT 4. That was not my issue. Mine was pouring oil out the bottom. This was one day after I bought it. I bought a Champion to replace it as I could not lift it on my own. I took it back on Oct. 6 and another manager named ***** said he would take it back but not that day because he had no room to put it. In the mean time me son and I came down with a horrible case of hemorrhoids from lifting it. I took it back a few months later after hiring someone to take it there for me and they refused to return my money. What a rip off! After $2000.00 I now have 2 generators in my garage. I spend thousands with Home Depot a year. I will not be shopping there anymore. I new when I bought that generator it would be a piece of c*** Ryobi isnt known for them. I have a receipt and want my money back. It is ridiculous for Home Depot to sell us those. Those were all they had for the Hurricane victims. Worst Hurricane ever and they sold us used generators and expect people to run them back out there to have something fixed the first day. Come on! So terrible! We were all scammed on that one. That is all we had to pick from. ***** made out great!!

      I ordered some items from Home Depot on 3-25-23. I received the items on 3-30-23. I opened the package on the morning 3-31-23 only to find I was sorted 1 item. I call Home Depot on 3-31-23 to explain they left out one item. The associate I talked with I had a hard time understanding them due to accent took me several times before they understood they sorted me one item. The associate the proceeded to tell me they wear going to credit my credit card for the item. If I wanted the item they sorted me I would have to reorder this item again. I explained I needed this for a time sensitive project. So can you just send me the item they sorted me. I told them I didn't make the mistake they did so just do the right thing and send me the item. They said they can't. I proceeded to tell Home Depot I would be glad to tell other people in person and on the internet about there customer **********************. I said is all this trouble worth $1.31 the item they sorted me. After that they texted me the following:I see you've recently interacted with the bot.I'm passing your info along to an associate who will be with you in about 3 minutes.It's now 4-1-23 and no one has contacted me. My assumption if you tell anyone about there customer ********************** how they treated you, they will stop communicating. Just remember a customer that complains gives you an opportunity to fix the problem. Companies only exist based on there customer. No customers no business. Please be careful shopping at Home Depot. I have had this happen at Lowes but they did the right thing and sent me the item they sorted me. Thank you Home Depot for defining the difference between you and your competitor ******. You only get a first chance to make a first impression . Maybe we all should be shopping at companies that give customers service like ******. I will be one less customer shopping at Home **********************. Word will get around.

      I signed a contract with Home Depot for over $18,000.00 paid in full up front back in October of 2022 to replace counter tops & refurbish cabinets. The counter tops were completed fine, but 4 months in, after the project should have been completed, they were unable to give me any eta, claiming an IT issue was preventing them from viewing the project status. This continued every week for 4 more weeks with me reaching out to everyone listed on my contract, and receiving no further update than that there was an IT issue they were working on. Now I have been informed that their IT issue, among other things, prevented the purchase order from being issued to the cabinet manufacturer in the first place. So they haven't even started making them yet, despite the sales manager, *********************, assuring me early on that everything was actually on schedule. If I am lucky, I may eventually get the cabinets some **** months after I paid for them in full, and after being lied to then ignored.

      Your service at 3 different levels is terrible. I spent 32 mins on the phone w/ the initial rep. ** called the local store to help sort out the shipping mishap; but the lady at the local store was no help. ** then attempted to **ntact the freight ** 3 times; but throughout the call he showed a lack of understanding your **mpanys systems & of understanding of standard customer ********************** skills. Ultimately that rep **nfirmed my suspicions that I was just annoying him when he hung up on me.My 2nd call gave me some hope as the rep listened to my problem and admitted the **ncerns and situation I was in definitively was a problem. ** left me feeling extremely **nfident the resolution team; whose for whatever reason **uld only be **ntacted via text was gonna definitely going to solve the issue. That 18 minute call ended with a promise the resolution team would look into my issue & should definitely be able to find a resolution within 48 hours.This morning at 12:20am my final **nfirmation; that your **mpany is trash & does not care about the customer was received from the resolution team. The email was full of bs & showed that no effort was put into understanding or solving my problem. The rep I spoke to in my 2nd call either didnt explain my issue to the resolution team or that team just doesnt care since they just hide behind a keyboard & dont have to speak to customers. Your customer ********************** department has literally zero ability to provide just that. I hate to believe it is the reps ability & lean more towards it is it just your customer ********************** model to defer/blame others. The problem is you hired the freight **mpany so blaming them just looks bad on you. The poor customer ********************** is related to a lack of empowerment being provided to your reps.I hope that my ability to criticality think, **mmunicate with people, & to be persistent gets the problem resolved directly with YRC customer **********************. Hopefully they employ reps that actually care about customers.

      Summary of issues with Home Depot failure to provide advetised product 1. Falsely advertised, heavily damaged product from Home Depot with no resolution 2. Home Depot knowingly sold us a custom triple sliding PREHUNG door that took three months to receive. Product not as advertised, not pre-hung and required extensive labor to prepare and assemble for placement 3. Sent packaged and padded heavily damaged product (not visible at pickup)4. NO ownership or proper resolution from Home Depot staff and customer care **********************. 5. Total cost to us over $7,000 (cost of door, transport and labor) a. Jelwen "Prehung" Sliding doors (3) Model: **** b. Transportation (60 miles to site): $100 c. Labor to install and delivery: **** 6. Proposed resolution from Home Depot $500 rebate and . Not accepted, then Home Depot offered a $750 store gift card ONLY if we remove and return damage doors and ship at our own cost to store (60 miles). Then we can reorder custom doors for $**** and hope they come in undamaged condition in 90 days and repay another $**** to reinstall these same mislabeled doors. No offer to refund cost of door installation if we bring it back (after paying for it to be removed)7. Total cost to fix the doors for Home Depot $500. Total cost to us the customer up to ****** upon completion if we follow their "solution." -Note: We continue to fight for resolution of this issue. We will document in video for Company and public guests who visit this income rental property as well as use for major events
