      Awful customer **********************. I requested for a security door quote and was informed they'll send out a technician to take my door's measurement. Technician came out and said that my door has a pop-out on top and wouldn't do any measurement, but was happy to take my money. Said the pop-out was an issue. Lady from office depot called me and told me I would need to get it removed, but would not explain why that pop-out is an issue either. I went around in my neighborhood and saw at least 10 houses with pop-outs that had security doors on them. Emailed them back, and they continue to give their side of the story, but won't explain to me why the pop-out is an issue. Feels so much like a scam, or should I say, it is a scam. At the very least, it's dishonest work, or not wanting to work and just wanting to make up excuses.

      I filled out military discount info on line as requested. Got star put on husband's license as requested, different rules everytime you go. Wouldn't let me use, unless I brought husband. I pulled up account at register and had my id. Can order online with discount no problem. Just can't go to the store. Now you are going to have to use phone. My father was also military. He's 89 and doesn't have a smart phone. You have been our go to home improvement store for years. I now mostly go to lowes if my husband isn't with me. They make it easy for me to use my husband's military discount, as it should be since it's our money I am spending. In closing, if you don't want to give discount then don't, I would shop a store if they didn't give a discount, before I would shop a store that acts like it but makes it to difficult to use.

      DONT Buy any services from Home Depot ,I.E windows they don't honor the warranties on the windows if the company they represent goes out of business. We purchased windows from HD, VIPLEX *************** having issues with 2 windows, HD is saying that they company went out of business, so HD can NOT honor their companies LIFE TIME warranty.We have all of the original paperwork from when we purchased the windows. It doesn't matter to HD. I would assume this would be the same for ALL of their services, ROOFING, FENCES, Windows, Siding, Door's, Kitchens, Flooring , Heating Cooling, Closets , Electrical, water Heaters. It's proven so far that if you buy windows and the company goes out of business, HD does NOTHING to try to make it right.

      I was going to have 7 doors installed. They sent out an estimator from ****** and he did the measurements. When he was measuring my front door he told me that it was not a standard door, which it is. I live in a condo and all condos here have standard size doors. He also told me that the trim around my door is supposed to be a half an inch away from my wall. Home Depot, **** called me with the estimate which was ridiculously high because they had to special make my front door since it is only 35"wide, which is incorrect. **** agreed that condos don't have special sized doors and told me that his hands were tied. He did message the company to re- measure the door and nothing from the contractor. You would think that my money down would have been returned since the guy who came out was an idiot but that hasn't happened. Probably won't go to Home Depot again!!!!

      I want to start to how disappointed and so frustrated I am about these big purchase I made at my local Home Depot with is located In *********** **********, I was so exited to buy a big kitchen aid stove , long story short I went to the sore so they didn't have it at the store they ordered for me a week after the stove was deliver, stove was counter depth to big for my kitchen had to hired people to help my taking it back to the store I get to the store and my big surprise was that apparently I only had 48 hrs to make the return with is a non sense at all when you are spending **** dls is like slap on you're face, I talk the manager and her argument was that I should read the policy but my issue is is yore spending the kinds of money why the sale person does not mentioned anything for you can be able to think twice to buy from company that is not going to support you if something goes wrong with your purchase. So I end up with an expensive stove that is not fitting in my kitchen , I tried to contact ***** number that they gave me and not help at all.

      Home Depot is charging me too dollar for a kitchen cabinet remodel. The sales people said it would be done in 3 days. We are now looking a 4 weeks of living in a half finished kitchen. It is a mess. It makes me feel like I have really been had. They need to compensate people for their scheduling errors and failure to fulfil the promises they make during their hard sales tactics.

      Home Depot gives the absolute worst service. I bought a dishwasher from them in 2020 and it broke 2 years later because the installer they contracted with did it incorrectly. After spending $150 to diagnose the problem, we found this out and contacted Home Depot. They gave us $100 credit towards a new dishwasher. Since the dishwasher we wanted was too expensive in our local appliance store, we decided to give it a shot and go with Home Depot again. Big mistake. Delivery has been canceled or messed up three times now. The first time we were told the dishwasher was coming only to be told that the installment kit was not available 5 minutes later. The second time it was canceled without warning. And finally on the third time the installers showed up but there was no dishwasher to be found. Home Depot has yet to make this right and it was all their fault in the first place that we have to get a new dishwasher. I think it's worth the extra $400 we would have paid with the local appliance company. I guess you get what you pay for.

      I purchased a washing machine and it was defective, I purchased the warranty and they mailed me a check and the check bounced. They promised to mail me another check and it is going on two weeks since filing my claim and I have yet to receive my check.

      We had entry way doors installed through Home Depot and their installers did an absolutely terrible job. The door doesnt shut and the storm door lasted all of two weeks. Never again will I use Home Depot.

      Cheating Customers I purchased appliances online, the day they were to be delivered I found the same appliances with lower prices. I called customer ********************** and was told they couldnt price match because the items were on clearance. The difference was $110.00- Such a horrible way to treat customers especially since the items hadnt even been delivered. If I didnt need the stove I wouldve cancelled and went elsewhere!
