5 starsBe careful on what you buy at home Depot. I had bought a riding lawnmower at full price the next day they drop off a floor model that has been sitting outside in the weather for two months when I went to start it didn't start it wasn't finished being put together. That's when I noticed it was the display model. I was told that they had a lawnmower in a box . They needed to assemble it and make sure it was working properly before they dropped it off I was upset about the whole situation so I went to home Depot they tried to make me pay for a pickup fee they tried making me feel like I was in the wrong there resolution to the situation was to buy another one on the same credit card and do a refund on the one they delivered all I wanted was for them to get the lawnmower that wasn't the one I bought out of my **** I bring me a new one like I had bought not just a new one a working one DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOTThe Home Depot

2 starsBe very cautious when thinking of purchasing a kitchen through Home Depot. They have some nice cabinets and blind you with some very talented kitchen designers that will do a detailed plan for you. However, do not take out a Home Depot credit card to pay for your kitchen!! AVOID. The issuing bank "Citi" is just terrible. They hit me with 4K in interest! 4K for not paying my bill in the 18 mos. Over 9k in cabinets. How many people can pay it in 18 mos and they won't extend it. The bank is unreasonable and now we will be going into collections. They refused to work with me even way in advance of the interest rate expiring, when I tried. They would rather, you not pay your bill I guess because I am not giving them an extra 4K. You are better off taking a personal loan to pay for your cabinets. Period. Do not open a home depot credit card, whatever you to. Be careful of the Home Depot Loan too. Not great at 12 or 15% interest and they won't budge either. Home Depot does not have your back against the bank. Not at all. They could care less.The Home Depot

1 starOn March 24th, 2023, I purchased ( total of 20k worth of equipment's including refrigerator, dishwasher, cooking range and windows blinds from the above mentioned Home Depot store for my brand new House.Buying experience should be pleasant one but in my case it's a nightmare which is not over! - First one of the associate ("*******" entered my appliances order wrong causing with ******* to delay my entire order due the refrigerator unavailability). - I rushed to the store, talked to the store manager *************************** who assigned his senior associate name "*******" (Assistant Manager). Who canceled my entire ordered and reenter the order again assure med everything is going to fine. Week later dishwasher and cooking range arrived. But no refrigerator. - Refrigerator suppose to arrive today 04/17. I received a call from the driver early in the morning saying he will be at my house in 30 minutes. Two hours went I receive massage from Home Depot that my order delivery is canceled. I called the store and ******* told me that he enter my address wrong causing this to shipped to wrong address (Only last week they deliver dishwasher and cooking range so they had the right address). Instead of giving a shipping company right address and having them route to my house. I have been told that Home Depot have to now cancel my refrigerator AGAIN and re-enter it again for the 3rd time. - We have no refrigerator as you can imagine we just moved. I end up buying small one which is barely enough for family.- My credit card charged now 3 time for the same order.- I lost all my discounts which i got from ******* and Home depot.- This cause extreme stress and sufferings to me and my family. we have to eat out. cannot buy groceries.Store Manager ***************************, replied no phone calls, neither he is willing to talk. He is extremely rude no sense of customer **********************. I am sick to my stomach don't know what to do!!!!!!!!The Home Depot

1 starDont use Home Depot appliance delivery. They use a third party *** and HD blamed all my problems on them. It was installed poorly, used the 48 hour window to return the appliance, and have now waited months for our refund. Their phone customer ********************** did not help resolve the problem, and they lied twice about our refund being on the way. Their customer ********************** blamed me, hung up on me, and did everything to delay and downright not pay me back the refund.The Home Depot

1 starWorst experience trying to order a ladder through Home Depot. I ordered a 40 ****** ladder and about a week later I got an email telling me it was shipped. After about another two weeks I received a notification that it was delivered to my local store and to wait for another email when it was ready for pickup. After several days I didnt receive another email so I went to my local store to find out what the problem was. They told me the shipping company damaged the ladder and that ladder was no longer available. So they refunded my money and when the ladder became available again (for $125 more than when I originally ordered it) I ordered another one. After a month again, I was told the shipping company now lost this ladder and refunded my money again. So they have wasted about 3 months of my time and still no ladder. Considering using only Lowes from now onThe Home Depot

1 starThey picked up a fridge and I had to actually open a dispute for a refund on their store credit credit card I used for the purchase. They dont automatically process refunds and thats a big red flag.The Home Depot

1 starOn 4-13-2023, went into the home depot, store number #*** on *****************************************************************. I bought a cast iron sink. I made a mistake. After realizing I made this mistake the very next morning at 6am I went back to try and cancel the order the front store manager told me I could not because the product was in vendor status. I then went home and looked up the policy on returning items bought on Homedepot.com. I had 45 minutes to cancel the order within the time I purchased the order. So I went back up to home depot and told them that this was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. This is an unfair policy, because by the time you drive home and realize that you have made a mistake in the purchase and drive back to the store the 45 minutes is up. I was very upset. Then the store manager and the front store manager told me that I had to wait until the item was shipped before I could cancel it. So I went home and called Homedepot.com and spoke with ***** and she told me this was true. My order was shipped last night, on 4-14-2023. So today at about 6:30 am I went back up to the store, the same two managers was there and now I was told that **** could not cancel the order because ***** wrote in the comments that the order could not be cancelled, after I was told that I could cancel it when it was shipped by all three people. However, ***** did tell me that only if the vendor will agree to cancel the order then it could be cancelled. If the vendor does not agree to cancel the order, then the order has to be delivered. Then we can physically carry this cast iron sink back to the store and get our money back. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED WITH THIS PROCESS. Starting with the sells associate did not disclose we only had 45 minutes to return the item, from HomeDepot.com, then the constant changing of the information that was giving to us. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE CANCEL PROCEDURE.The Home Depot

1 starI received a **** Bilt mower that was supposed to be new. It was delivered yesterday and is covered in rust. ****, the store manager, tried to tell us that it is because the mowers are left outside. But the battery even has rust on it. They do not stand behind their products!!!The Home Depot

1 starThe Home Depot needs to seriously upgrade their online shopping experience,especially when it comes to big-ticket items.I recently attempted buy a 60 gallon air compressor for my shop, using Home Depot's online store @ thehomedepot.com. I found one I liked with good reviews and purchased it along with several more accessories,paid in full,not financed. I received the three accessory items within three days of purchase,apparently from the closest local store,so I thought everything was going great. My compressor arrived a few days earlier than the tracking # showed,which was even better---until it actually got to me. Home Depot chooses the carrier it uses for delivery services,so I had no say in who delivered the compressor. The day it showed up,I and the truck driver unloaded it and started to unwrap the plastic to inspect it before he left. Good thing too,because the thing had obviously been damaged during transit. The main cast iron pulley had been broken in several pieces,the plastic guard was mangled and there was oil all over the top of the compressor. Naturally,I did not accept delivery for a damaged compressor,and it was reloaded on the truck and sent back.I called Home Depot to report the issue and only asked for a replacement to be sent as soon as possible,as I have work waiting on a compressor. After 30 minutes and 3 different representatives, I was told that an exchange would not be possible,as Home Depot was not "authorized" to do an exchange on that item. The only procedure would have to be a several day wait for a refund,and then I would have to reorder the compressor, which would cost me several more weeks of down time. Really Home Depot? "Unauthorized"?? You are authorized to sell these compressors,service them,take care of warranty issues,but you can't do a simple exchange for a brand new unit damaged by YOUR chosen carrier and never used because of it?? This was NOT a cheap purchase and Home Depot has lost me as a customer for good.The Home Depot
