      I purchased a new ******* Pro 575 grill on Saturday 4/15. Part of that the purchase was the offer of free assembly, and that the new grill would be available by Wednesday 4/19.I arrived to pick up my "new" grill, and instead they presented what was clearly an open box item. This store attempted to bait and switch my new grill with an open box item that was stored out side. How many other people have missed this switch and received "open box" in lieu of newly assembled? Sure, they gave me weak excuses that failed to understand how this undermined confidence and trust. Bottom line they lied, and when presented with the gravity of the deception they had nothing to offer but an apology and I could get the new one Tuesday. Then again, how do I know I will receive new one? Maybe they will just spit shine and clean another open box item. Buyer beware on these type of transactions at this store

      Used Home Depot in Mentor for flooring installation. They did a poor job with the installation. Flooring is not to our satisfaction and they are not standing by their customer satisfaction policy. They used Certified Flooring for sub contractors who did a poor job!! The floor is uneven, does not measure to the other flooring and has a noticeable gap between the tile of the fireplace and floor. No one would consider this a professionally installed flooring. The installers also came to the house late, vaped in the room and ordered a delivered meal all while they were to be installing the floor.

      I spent 1 hour buying and getting the grill out of will call. The people and computers that they use need a update. With a paid receipt she would not release the grill until someone else said she could.My name was on the grill 4 feet away. You can't pay for a grill and decide to pick it up later. You have to get a refund and buy it again. Come back 2 days later and she says that she can't verify my receipt. Go thru the the process again. Are you kidding me.

      I purchased a bookcase from their website. I sorted by pre-assembled. In both the item description and product images, it said, "no assembly." However, when I received it, it came unassembled. It's not a huge ask to have truth in advertising. It was not a very large or very heavy bookshelf, there's no reason it couldn't come pre-assembled.

      Worst customer ********************** ever!!! I ordered a refrigerator, washer and dryer to be delivered and installed on March 31. On April 8 they delivered the appliances but did not install water or ice maker on refrigerator and told me to call a plumber to do that. The dryers heating element was not working so they took that and left washer. They told me that if the appliances werent working to call the number provided, I joked with the delivery guy that I wouldnt know if the washer worked or not because I dont have the dryer. He agreed, we laughed and I wrote that down on the receipt I signed. Today they delivered the dryer and when I went to do the first load the washer did not work!!!! I called the number provided and imagine my surprise when they tell me I have to call the manufacturer because the washer was delivered over 48 hours ago!!!! WHAT??!!! Im told that maybe Whirlpool will send another one or they could fix it. Its a NEW washer!!! I am expected to call them back tomorrow when Whirlpool is open because no one on the Resolution Team will call me back or even call Whirlpool and deal with them and then call me to let me know what to expect. I paid Home Depot for new working appliances that were to be installed and they still have not held up their part of the contract.

      I filed a BBB complaint first with Home Depot, due to their refusal to cancel an order, and their open endorsement of communicating with EMOJIS instead of words. ******************************* from Home Depot's escalation department, in which she sent an email saying random words. I replied with my response, and instead of acknowledging her companies' massive failures and hiring of pre-teens (or employees who communicate like 12yr olds), she ignored the email and my request. Instead, she closed out the complaint saying she responded back and let me know it would be 48 hours until its fully canceled and closed. ***** in no way communicated with me this, instead she acted like a coward and blatantly lied to the BBB response, and openly endorsed and encouraged their unprofessional emoji laced communications. They are a completely terrible, disgraceful and corrupt organization, who will do everything they can to blatantly lie to whoever they can, in order to attempt to steal money from their customers BEWARE CORRUPT ORGANIZATION

      Horrible return policy, my sister had returned 2 fence post for me (without receipt) an I was unable to use the in store credit because only the person who returned it can use the card they give. Not ta mention if your return (without receipt) is over $100 they will not return it an you are only allowed 1 return every year

      Don't rent from this company! They have poor products. I rented a pressure washer for the first time and I explained this to the young man that was helping me at the time. It took him three different pressure washers before he found one that worked. When he turned on the pressure washer, it was shaking bad and was very loud. I asked him if he could leave the hoses on because I don't want any issues putting them on because of all the issues he was having with putting them on and he said he would but didn't. When I got home with the pressure washer and tried to put on the hoses, it would not go on. It took a long time before I was able to connect everything. When I turned it on, it locked up. I called Home Depot and the young man told me I had to re due it again. At this point i was getting frustrated so I started to take everything apart again to re due and couldnt get one hose off. I told the young man it should not be this difficult and I will bring it back. I wasted my time and hard-earned money on a product that was defected. The company would not work with me or offer my money back. I understand a contract was signed but it should only apply to a product that work correctly. Customer ********************** was not helpful at all. I was advised to push it harder etc. I just wanted a product that worked.

      On April ******* I was approved by ********* for ******** to purchase a central air conditioning system for my home. I had not received the credit card in the mail by April 12th. On April 12th the Home Depot contracted installers called for completion of payment given they were to install the ** unit the morning of April 13th.I attended the Home Depot store at *************************************************** on April 12th to process the payment. I was transferred to the ********* fraud department by phone somewhere in *******. I was advised that ********* has blocked my account and accused me of fraud and would not honour the credit card approval.At this point my stress level is very high given the installers are asking for payment and they had booked the entire next day to install the unit. Furthermore I have no other means to make the ******** payment in less than 24 hours.I went home and called Home Depot, I was transferred the the ********* credit department, the bank rep could not offer an explanation and transferred to to the fraud department. At this point I was transferred to several ********* reps and told the same thing. I was advised that my account is under a fraud review.Needless to say, I was very upset with this and asked to speak to a manager to file a complaint and attempt to rectify this. At no time did ********* offer an explanation or advise me of what was fraudulent. To summarize, I was placed in a stressful situation, the contractor for Home Depot had to cancel a a full days work, I have been accused of fraud with no explanation and had to come up with ******** dollars in less than 24 hours. I have to say, I feel a huge disappointment in Home Depot, your company broke a contract with no real explanation. I have worked in the criminal justice system through my entire career and Im not retired. To be accused of fraud is very upsetting and without foundation. I would like to peruse a formal complaint with a remedy to this !
