      The online orders and their delivery service is completely unacceptable. Im working on my own major home renovation project and out of ten or so orders, perhaps 2-3 has been OK and on time. Past four were complete disasters with incorrect items delivered, kiln dried lumber and plywood left uncovered in the rain, and delays up to two week or completely cancelled order. Getting a refund was a major problem one requiring multiple phone calls to corporate customer ********************** and the local store with nothing but empty promises. Only reason I had to go back to them was that they were the only local supplier of the siding I was using. Its extremely frustrating to try to plan the project with this level of incompetence and ignorance. One more order and I should be done with the project and Home Depot.

      I purchased a 7 piece patio set and it was missing 2 chairs when delivered. Reached out to customer ********************** reps and was told they couldnt find the chairs so schedule a pickup to return and ordered a new set. The missing chairs showed up the day after the table and other 4 chairs were picked up. The new table arrived STILL without chairs. After two weeks of calling and being told theyre coming and to just wait and finally told would be earlier this week. They havent shown up and I was told today that the chairs are back ordered and only thing they can do is offer a refund. I have been trying to just get a patio table for 2 months from this company that comes with everything I paid for. Multiple people told me the chairs and tables get separated during shipping and they have this problem often, but no one is able to get me a complete table set. *** had to wait around for deliveries and pick *** 5 times now. This is absolutely insane.

      I purchased the Hampton Bay Riverbrook Padded Sling Swivel Dining Chairs from Home Depot on 6/19/2022. When uncovering the set on our deck last week, the round bases of the chairs are all rusted with the rust actually falling off. According to the book with the set, there is a 3-year warranty on the frame. When I called to speak to the ******************** I was told that "rust was not covered under the warranty". The real reason I purchased this set was that they were "rust proof" and would last for years. They had actually been covered during the winter with the Hampton Bay cover AND we did not have any weather like snow that the chairs would actually be sitting in for a period of time. This is ridiculous to pay the amount of money we paid for these chairs and have them rusting just months later. **** knows what they'll be in 3 years. Please do not buy these chairs! I will never buy a Hampton Bay product again!

      Quick story about my bad experience with The Home Depot installation services. The sales person was very nice, informative, and responsive. Deal was quickly done and paid for. Then, about a month later they tell me the city won't approve the installation as is. Fine; I say cancel the part of the order not in compliance with city codes. I quickly sign the amended change order. It has been over 3 months, and I have yet to receive my refund of the portion that was cancelled (a significant amount of money). They say they can't refund the cost of the cancelled portion until the installation is complete. That is just wrong and bad business. Why would the installation status affect the correct amount owed, and why am I on the hook to float this loan (even if it ends up being temporary) for The Home Depot mistake in the first place? The reduced scope installation is now good, but I still don't have my refund. Pretty sure this is my last time I will deal with them.

      ***** from Hardware, she was annoyed I asked for her help at the key kiosk sign, telling me to step farther away because she didnt want to breath the same air {as me}weird & rude since I was at least 3 feet away in front of the opposite machine, then ***** was complaining about EVERYTHING; my key was indenting her thumb, how dirty this store is, shes the only employee working in her **** for 6 hours, shes got a cart full of boxes to work, that the store wont hire more people, tales of customers recently trying to steal tools in a yellow-lidded bin through the garden center. As ***** is on her anti-Home Depot tirade, another customer in a long-sleeved orange shirt presenting as Latino gentleman politely asks if ***** know where the gutters section is, instead of giving him an answer she loudly responds What, what do you want?, the customer repeats gutters for water and holds up a gutter clip to show her, but ***** isnt even listening because she is yelling saying What, what? I dont know thats not my department! Go ask someone else!. The other customer looked taken aback & turned to the side to walk down the aisle to the right, and ***** hatefully said (loud enough for me to hear & to him) WHY DONT YOU LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH!-I called a supervisor before leaving the parking lot.UPDATE: 11:48AM 4/24/23 Callback from one of the managers, saying he had pulled ***** to speak with her, because when they put on their apron they are representing Home Depot. So hopefully the appropriate measures are being carried out.UPDATE 4/28/23: Above was the experience review I left for the Home Depot store at ******************************************* in ********, ** for whatever reason my review & one of my included photos was taken down/blocked from ****** review so I re-post it to Home Depots corporate ****** review page in hopes of there being some sort of accountability for this disgusting behavior.-Now Im reviewing it on BBB, because this is unacceptable.

      My home was built in the 60s. A fact ********* didn't bother to ask about until after they charged me $50 and sent someone to do the measurement. He wrote down - clear as day on the report submitted for an estimate - that due to the age of the place, there could be asbestos. He assured me that if so, the installers would only charge about $100 extra and handle it.After literally hours and hours of endless discussions and verifications on phones and in person, I was given the greenlight and an estimate. I purchased all the materials and the installation. I paid someone to bring the heavy load from the store to my home - Home Depot would only deliver either to the store, or to the curb. I also had to free up my schedule, empty the kitchen and the fridge, and get up at an ungodly hour. THEN the installer informed me, on arrival, that I needed to hire a special company to check for asbestos before he could proceed! I also discovered that if there was any, I would be charged thousands of dollars to handle it.I managed to get Home Depot to pick up the materials cluttering my living room. Almost 3 weeks later, Home Depot has not yet refunded the money.My credit card companies are handling this part. But I am out $160 ($50 for useless measuring that is unrefundable because of the "service" I supposedly received, and $110 for someone to carry the materials). Not to mention all the time I wasted and the aggravation.Home Depot refuses to take responsibility for any part of this fiasco. Whether dishonest or incompetent, I would never use Home Depot again for any installation project I might have.

      The worst experience ever. I purchased a custom made entry front door (had to because I live in an older built home). While going over the details about the hardware and other materials, I was asked if I had a storm door, I replied yes. Then I was asked if I wanted to keep that door, I replied yes because the storm door is still in good condition. I was told no problem but I would have to pay to have it re-installed. I replied ok again. On the day of the installation of the new custom entry door everything goes fine until the installer informs me that my storm door (which I told them I would like to keep) does not fit. I responded what do you mean it doesnt fit. Home Depot sent someone out to take the measurement. After months of dealing with Home Depot customer care and theyre trying to encourage me to purchase a custom made storm door, nothing has been resolved. I asked for my refund for the re-installation of my storm door which the quickly returned. The Home Depot Special services contract was done on August 25, 2022. The entry door install was done after thanksgiving 2022, I waited three months. The issue with the storm door lasted two months. I got so frustrated with them that I asked for my refund which was done on February 22, 2023. I have not experienced such foolishness from a company in all my adult years, I am 65 years old. I know nothing will be done about this mishap. Its a shame that companies can make an error and expect the consumer to pay for it and at the same time if I dont pay their credit card (which I used) they can put a lien on my home. I just wanted to put this out there for everyone. They have lost this customer.

      The website states that delivery is available for large equipment rental. When I called to rent a 1-ton mini excavator with clearly indicated "delivery available", I was informed that there is no delivery available- false advertising and poor business practice.

      I had a kitchen Floor replacement in less than 6 months it started coming apart Us Install is the company that is the contractor they use They literally had to come to my home 6 times to repair and still wasnt satisfied so I reached out to the Corporate Office for help US Installation had to come back out and replace the whole floor I have been dealing with this issue since 3/28/2023 I have all documents and photos of the very sloppy installation work that was done I had to put in a complaint to consumers Affairs and the Attorney Generals Office I have been a Customer since 2007 and I have never had a problem or issue with the Company not only did I have a complaint about the installation Company US Installation but the Contractors themselves very unprofessional Whatever you do please dont get ************ work done from Home Depot contractors US Installation I still have a dispute going on against them I repeat US Installation is not the ******************* you want to deal with I feel that Home Depot should replace this Company if they dont want to damage there Reputation any further I spent $3000 for this Unsatisfactory Job and I will not be spending any more money with this Company I give them 0 Stars for this project Watch Out **************** US Installation if you have any work to be done if you see there name RUN ??????

      I am concerned about the Homedepot on *********************, I always liked shopping at this store. However, I had a bad experience after purchasing a washer/ dryer set. We spent a total of $1799 including warranties, parts for the delivery. They delivered the items on April 26, 2023. The dryer didnt work. I called the store where I purchased them. The washer/ dryer section lady transferred me all around until she promised to call. She did not. I called a number on the website hopping to get help. Such disappointment after the sale.
