1 starOn July 15, 2025, I was contacted by **** ****** who initially provided me a quote $2258.48 for which I paid a deposit of $905.00. I contacted **** and informed him Swift Shift has a reputation for fraudulent misquoting services. **** never responded. I got a call from ****** *****, Director of Operations and advised her the inventory was incorrect: on July 17, 2025, I sent ****** the correct inventory. Today, September 08, 2025, I received a call to review my inventory: I was charged an additional $1050 as the agent was insistent that my concerns for being misled had no merit because what mattered is what was on the contract and asserted ****** ***** had no authority to change the list. Swift Shift is a scam and should be investigate for fraudulent practices.This company does deserve a one rating.Swift Shift Van Lines L.L.C.

1 starWhat started as an affordable moving solution quickly became a nightmare of hidden fees, poor communication, and accountability issues.Swift Shift initially provided a competitive estimate that was significantly lower than other companies I contacted. After paying the required non-refundable deposit to "secure" my moving date, the real problems began.On moving day, the actual movers (who, I later learned, were from a completely different third-party company) arrived and immediately informed me that the price would be nearly double the original estimate. They cited additional charges for stairs, distance from the truck, packing materials, and various other fees that were never mentioned in the initial quote. With my belongings already loaded and limited options available, I felt forced to pay the inflated price -- how can you back out on moving day? Tenants were moving into my apartment two days after my moving day. Swift Shift knows this is typically the case and exploit it.Once the move was underway, getting any information about my shipment became nearly impossible. Phone calls went unreturned and when I did get through, I was hung up on. I was promised delivery dates came and went without explanation, and when I did manage to reach someone, they seemed to have no knowledge of my specific situation. The lack of tracking information and constant delays were absurd.What Swift Shift doesn't make clear upfront is that they operate as a broker, not a moving company. Swift Shift points fingers at the third-party movers, while those movers claim they're just following Swift Shift's instructions. Swift Shift was unresponsive to my calls and emails about insurance information. Moving is stressful enough without dealing with misleading, predatory business practices and poor customer service. While *********************************************'s estimates may be attractive, the hidden costs, lack of communication, and accountability issues make them a company to be avoided.Swift Shift Van Lines L.L.C.

5 starsI said I would post review if you guys came through and you more than delivered! I almost was taken advantage of by another company trying to overcharge me. Swift ************************************************* gave me additional storage, worked a payment plan, saved me a ton of money and got my things to me in perfect condition all the way from LV to **. I had to change my dates due to illness and they had no problem taking care of me. You guys are professional, kind and care. Thanks againSwift Shift Van Lines L.L.C.

5 starsMy wife and I moved closer to his new job, and most of our furniture was secondhand or assembled stuff we were honestly fine parting with. Still, the movers didn't treat anything like junk. They handled everything carefully and loaded the truck like they were working with brand-new pieces. That kind of consistency matters. They asked the right questions before touching anything and handled all the cases carefully. They clearly understood the importance of the items and gave them the respect they needed. 1 starIf I were you, I would think twice! This company outsourced to another mover, and now they don't want to take care of my damaged furniture or missing items. I have filled out various forms and found that all these moving companies claim it's not their responsibility. I even paid for insurance on my property, which they then charged me for. I have one star because it's the lowest I can go, but they don't deserve even that. They start you with a lower price, then keep adding to it, so by the time it was all said and done, I paid over 10K when it should have been only 6K. They are a bunch of crooks!The same thing goes for the other companies, including ******************************* LLC and *******************; they're all a bunch of crooks!Swift Shift Van Lines L.L.C.

We do apologize about your experience, our team is only able to provide the claims information and any paperwork you may need to file that claim, as our team did not physically transport your items. You do have to purchase extra insurance if you would like if not our carrier services have insurance included at 60 cents per pound per article up to $10k.Review fromCatherine M

1 starWe were scammed. An awful experience. We hired Swift shift and ****** was so nice and we felt comfortable to hand over $1835 deposit for our move from ******** to ********. They told us they would come on June 9-10 to pick up our stuff. A truck came on June 11 at 8:45pm after repeated calls and told us we did not pay enough since we only paid for 504 cubic feet and our apartment furniture would take up more space. They said Swift Shift always underestimates the amount of space and they wanted $7,000 instead of $3500 for the whole move. At 10:30pm we said no and the All Moving relocation company said furniture or boxes. We said we listed everything take everything and they said no. So they took 21 boxes and no furniture but our TV stand and bed. The next day we were supposed to be on the road instead we were putting things in storage to come back at a later time. The saga continued until July 30th after repeated calls. It was mess on delivery boxes broken, dishes broken, glasses broken, picture frames broken, wardrobe boxes with clothes on the bottom of the boxes not hanging. A true nightmare. We do apologize about your experience with our team. Our notes show that when the movers arrived there were more items to be moved, and a revision on price due to these extra services. The revision was refused so of course not all items can be moved, just what is on the contracted services for space. We have also spoken to the customers attorney as well and provided all information.
