5 starsI needed help moving my music equipment from a rehearsal space into my basement, including speakers, amps, and a bunch of cables and gear. The team didnt just toss things around; they treated every piece like it mattered. Its rare to see that level of care, especially with heavy or awkward stuff. 1 starSwift ************************************************* ************** (SSVL)I sold my house and hired SSVL to move from ** to **, they were scheduled for 5/27/25 or 5/28/25, they give you a 2 day window in case of issues, when I finally got thru to them on the 27th after almost 2 hours to confirm which day they would be there they said they would need to check with the movers, they never got back to me, when I called them back multiple times they told me to call the movers direct, when I did they said their truck was broke and it would be done on the 28th, but on 5/28/25 at 3:30PM they told me they could not move me until the following week because their truck was still broke and that **** told them they checked with me and I said that was fine, NOONE ever checked with me about moving after 5/29, I closed on my house 5/29/25 and had to be completely out of house on 5/29/25. I gave them a $3042 deposit and they said it is non-refundable. I had to hire new movers on 5/28/25 at 5:30PM to get all my belongings out of a 4 bedroom home and put in storage. I called **** and the moving company 17 times between 5/27 and 5/28 to confirm the move, after I was told they couldn't move me until the following week I said I would need to get someone else they got a little nasty and said well you do what you have to do but there will be no refund. This is unacceptable, I paid with a credit card, disputed it but now the charges are back, $3042 deposit for a move that was scheduled, they did not keep their end of the contract and expect us to still pay them. This company needs to be shut down if this is how they do business. They are very nice when you first call but be careful after that because the price keeps going up and then they never show up for the scheduled move and still expect to be paid! They make you leave a star, I would give them a minus 1000 stars.Swift Shift Van Lines L.L.C.

5 starsI had to pack up my home office and bedroom into a rental across town, and most of my gear was electronics and monitors. They brought extra padding and asked exactly how I wanted things handled. My desktop setup made it in one piece, and they even helped reconnect some of the pieces when we arrived. 1 starI do not recommend this moving company. Their level of deception and unreliability is alarming. From the onset, **** *******, their agent who wrote me a quote promised to deliver my stuff within three days. He also assured me that Swift ************************************************* have actual trucks that do door to door move. **** told me that if I change my move date from 07/13 to 07/20th, I will be given a discount because they have a partially filled truck that will be leaving OR to ** on that day and so, it will be economical to just have that truck deliver my household items. I agreed and set my delivery date to 07/20. He was very believable and even told me he is a religious minister in training and so, can not be dishonest. Three days to my move, Swift Shift ***************** representative, ******* called to confirm my inventory. He was extremely rude and brash. He will not allow me to speak. I reported this issue to customer service and ***** **** asked me for an updated inventory, which I gave him. He promised to pass it unto customer service for an updated quote. I never received any updated quote. The following day, Movers called and informed me they will be coming for pickup at my home on 07/20, between 2 - 6 pm. On 07/20, no movers came. When I called to enquire, I was told the assigned movers could not make it because they ended up having more inventory than anticipated and so, another mover will be assigned to me the following day. A day wasted. If I had not called, no one would have informed me. On 07/21, movers came to my home 35 mins late. To my greatest suprise, they from Prince moving. My move has been subcontracted to them by Swift Shift. They spent the whole night repackaging and loading my stuff in their truck. Charged me $560 for repackaging and $1300 for additional van space. I paid $1650 in addition to the $1200 I have already paid to Swift Shift and left for NM with my family. We agreed my stuff will be delivered on 07/23. Its now 07/30 with no *** for my delivery.Swift Shift Van Lines L.L.C.

My couch and bed frame barely fit when I moved in, so I didnt think theyd come out easily. Somehow, the team figured it out without damaging the walls or ******* through it. 1 starWorst communication I ever experienced. They tell you a different story every time you call from when they will be there to pick your items up, how many packers theyre sending to when you can expect delivery. 1 starAvoid at all costs unethical, deceptive, and downright ********** experience with this company was appalling from start to finish. First, I was given a lowball estimate that seemed reasonableuntil moving day arrived. That quote was effectively doubled, even though I wasnt able to take my full original load. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, plain and ********* make matters worse, they do not clearly disclose that while they will disassemble furniture for transport, they will not reassemble it at the destination. This is a critical detail they conveniently fail to mention until it's too late to make other arrangements.And the worst partI was harassed by a quality control agent who actually said to me, Shut up and just pay the money. I have never encountered such disrespectful and aggressive behavior from a service provider in my life.This company operates like scam artists, preying on customers during an already stressful time. I was hesitant to trust anyone with them, but the company offered custom crating and actually built small wooden containers around the most fragile pieces. 5 starsI had to clear out my place quickly after a lease ended unexpectedly, and I didnt have time to pack properly. The crew came prepared with extra materials, helped wrap up what I couldnt finish, and didnt make me feel behind. They packed with care and somehow fit everything into the truck on the first try. I didnt expect a rushed move to go this smoothly, but they made it happen.
