    The two movers were very nice and moved fast! To say it was it was a two man job. They moved very fast and carefully and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in my apartment with no broken pieces.

    When I was contacted by this moving company, I was told one price. By the end of the transaction the price went way up. From $3500 to almost $16,000. They lied to me. I was not told they were a broker. I was not told that the price would go up depending on how much stuff I was moving. I was told that the original price included the truck, the people to load the truck, and the gas for the truck. I was charged for the gas in the final bill. If I could *** them I would.

    The customer had more items to be moved and she was charged accordingly for that per the contract.

    Same review details as all the others - they are BROKERS not a moving company. Horrible experience, details dont even matter. At the end of the day I did this to save money and time/effort. Not only did that not happen, but Ive double my expenses because I still have to fly across the country, rent a moving truck, AND move the rest of my stuff. I did everything I could to avoid this type of disaster. Not to mention the company they hired contacted me at 12:30am the day of the move to confirm my details (which were incorrect) and it wasnt until then that I realized Id been working with a broker. The only review online I could find of the OTHER company said they never showed up with his stuff. The only reason theyre getting the extra star is because the first agent who signed me up for all this was very nice. She wasnt trained great, and this whole thing played out poorly, but she was nice. I hope she takes her skills elsewhere.

    Per the contract the price is subject to change based on the services required for the customers move. The customer paid for the space on the contract accordingly. She was aware we are a broker based on contracts and website.

    It was an absolute nightmare. We got two half-assed item surveys, both of which severely under quoted us to get us to sign, and when the movers showed up they wouldn't take most of our things without charging us an additional 5k. Also, the person who initially quoted us "no longer worked there" as soon as we started having problems. STAY AWAY; worst moving experience of my life from this brokering company.

    Deceptive practices. We went through our inventory and asked for the quote for a full 26 ft. truck (we had moved a year previously with another company and knew what space we needed). They quoted us for a 1/2 truck (I didn't know the volume specifications for a full truck?!?), which I only discovered after requesting more information about what company would actually be moving us. Shame on me for not double-checking. Shame on Swift Shift for the "bait and switch." They are literally either holding people hostage or stealing deposits. BTW, many of their "positive" reviews that they send and that you find on other sites seem to be duplicates and bot-generated.

    The most deceitful company! Very rude! They will lie to you during the initial call and charge you half of the cost, and then you will be at their mercy because you don't want to let go of your deposit. My experience was very horrible. The first meeting seemed great, so I looked forward to the quality review, which was one week to pick up. Oh my God, It was the worst call I have ever had and hope to have. I requested that the next day, I speak to the manager. ******, I believe She was not any better. No apologies very condescending and rude. For your sanity, stay away.

    The customer added items to her inventory list and did not want to pay accordingly for the services per the contract signed... Customer has not reached out to us since 07/02 to address any further complaints or let us know what she is doing moving forward..

    Disastrous Move!! They lied from day 1. Said they would deliver our goods on June 20th at 6 pm. They picked up our items on June 17th. Charged us $1000 more than quoted even though we had less items than the original quote. Immediately took our possessions to storage. Called repeatedly after they missed the June 20th date to find out when they would deliver. Answer from them 5 to 14 days later and that they had up to 30 days. Unprofessional, unethical liars!! Finally delivered our items on July 2nd! at least two items broken, one antique. Now we will have to deal with them for insurance claims. Moved many times in the military. Worst Move Ever!! Don't use them, they are simply awful!! With zero customer service!!! I would give them negative 10 stars!!
