      I signed with Safe Home Security in 2019. In 2022 I called and told them that since I was 77 years old I didn’t feel safe climbing ladders to get to my alarms to change batteries. They told me for an additional monthly charge approximately of $10.00 @ month they would come out and do it for me Sounded great so I agreed. I just signed with another security company and I sent a letter in for a final bill on March 13th , I never got the bill. I called many times for it. .Finally on April 6th when I called some man told me they had sent me an email concerning the bill. I went out and looked there wasn’t one. I called back and talked to another woman about not receiving the email and she said no email but it was sent thru the regular mail. She asked if I would want another copy sent thru email, I agreed, Thank God. That is when I found out about the extension of my contract for another 5 years when I thought it was just for the additional service. It is now April 27th and I NEVER received the final payment thru the US Mail. I feel that I was tricked into that extension at the time when I agreed to additional cost for the extra service. They now want $3,041.53 which of course the other alarm system doesn’t want to pay off since we all thought it would run about $1,000.00 when my original contract would have run out. I feel I was tricked. The new company, ****** is giving me a carbon monoxide detector and a medical alert pendant for almost the same price. All I want is for Safe Home back the final payment to the original date I signed. I can’t afford the $3,000 by myself and if I cancel ****** to stay with Safe Home, I won’t have the extras I am getting with ****** and Safe Home will extend again my contract and be “rewarded” for deceptive practices. Something needs to be done about this company,
      I also agree with the other comments in the reviews that I read about this company.

      This is a fraudulent company. They create new contracts without your knowledge. Forge signatures. And report erroneous information to credit companies when you refuse to sign a 5 year contract with them and request cancellation. My equipment has not worked for 11 months. They advised they will not fix it unless I sign a new 5 year contract. I asked for a copy of my last contract and they stated it has disappeared from their system.

      My contract was sold to them and after months of weekly attempts to reach someone to service my equipment I finally had all my equipment removed . Not only will they not return calls to service their customers they ignore my request to disconnect my service. Worst company ever!!

      This company is HORRIBLE to deal with on ALL levels!!! We have been customers since 2006 definitely a BAD decision. Initially, things worked well and we received attention to any concerns. I don’t know who is running the company now, but there management style and customer service is HORRENDOUS. We have not had an operational system since December when our inside panel “was fried” per the technicians description. NO action was taken to help with this for weeks. Then I was LIED to by a customer service person about updating my contract and having the panel replaced. The equipment arrived AFTER I had been lied to that it was already sent (which is wasn’t and we’re were BILLED). Finally it arrives, cannot be installed because additional parts are needed and will cost additionally!!!! I was willing to pay the remaining amount of the contract at the ORIGINAL monthly rate just to get their equipment OUT OF MY HOUSE. NO response from ANYONE after I was lied to again about getting reimbursed for months that the system didn’t work and the returned, unusable equipment. If this is how business is being conducted these days, it is more than a sad commentary on the state of affairs of the business community. If this is representative of just this company, they should be SHUT DOWN1

      They committed fraud against my elderly mother for 3 years. They made a fraudulent contract with only her bank routing number and her birthdate. Everything else on the document was wrong. They took $59.99 a month for 3 years. I didn’t find out until she passed and froze her account. There is none of their equipment in her house. They charged her for a service they never provided. They need to be shut down. They still send bills to the house after I filed a police report. The police said it’s a civil case that I can’t prove. This company needs to be shut down!!!

      This complaint is not with the corporate but rather their local representative. I have contacted the corporate hoping to have my recently signed contract voided because the representative used deceptive business practices.
      He, the rep., told me that *** had sold my account to Safe Home because they were too big to handle the maintenance on all their accounts. It sounded reasonable.
      A short time later I had issues with the alarm; the salesman answered a text as did the installer - however they did not follow up with their promise to take care of my immediate issues.
      When I contacted the corporate they were unaware of these tactics but since I signed the contract they just promise to look into the issues. As yet there has been no follow up.

      I've had this service for about 7 years now. It started out fairly innocent, with a door-to-door salesman offering their services. My partner and child were with me at the time, and since my career requires me to be away from home, I felt I was doing the "right thing" in keeping my family safe and with peace of mind. Upon the day I filled out the contract, I requested a copy of it along with a yard sign. He left soon afterwards, but never received either one.
      A few years went by when disaster struck. My life partner had called me while I was out of state at work informing me that she could not get the alarm system to work. I was able to use my mobile app to turn the system on, but then the app malfunctioned and I was unable to turn the system off. My family was TRAPPED INSIDE MY OWN HOUSE!! I had frantically called the company to help with my emergency. They asked for my "password", which I was able to provide except for a couple numbers at the end of it which I did not remember to say. The password was close, but it wasn't complete enough for them to proved help to my trapped family. I explained that I was indeed the home owner and will need to resort to purposely triggering the alarm and getting the police involved as I had no other way to rescue them. I will say that the lady on the phone did offer to talk to my partner as she was in front of the system and can provide support. The whole ordeal has traumatized my family, and ultimately led to too much strain in my relationship and they are out of my life now.
      It is cruelly ironic that a service I felt I was doing my job as a father would ultimately destroy my family, and to this day I am still stuck and can't get out of. The system has been "dead" for the last 3 years now and it doesn't even work! They required me or someone 18+ to be home for a tech to come out and fix it, but I have been out of the state for over 2 years so nothing could be done.
      They ruined my life, and still continue to do so.

      They do bad business! They bought our account from ************. WEHAVE NEVER SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH THEM!
      When we told them that we didn't want to use it. They told us we would be able to cancel, as we have never signed a contract with them, then we got a bill. When we told them we never wanted the service as it has never worked...now we are in collection and when we stated we would pay it they said sorry you can't pay it, you can't contact us, we will have to wait until we are contacted by a different collection person.
      It is coming across as a billing scam, as they are making time go by so that they can log that you haven't paid. Toll Brothers screwed us royally by selling our account to these crooks! It is a con game!
      Next stop I guess is going to the Attorney General just like others have.

      This is a predatory company who seeks out elderly persons. They convinced my 85-yr-old uncle to sign a 5 year contract, and when he was placed in long term care 2 years later they refused to cancel the remainder of the balance of the contract. He has since passed away. There is no cause to present a long term contract to someone who has already lived past their life expectancy, other than to scam and take advantage of them. I hope states or the feds sue them into non-existence at some point.
