      DO NOT SIGN the contract before googling and researching on BBB.org...and then don't sign it. Our experience did not make us feel secure...especially with my wallet.
      We started receiving notices that we could upgrade to 5G from 3G. We were comfortable with 3G, speed was not a problem. More notices came and we knew from past experience, that any change in the service/"contract" would result in a 2 to 5 year extension, so we just ignored the suggestions to upgrade. Finally we received notice that 3G was going away and we should call to get our system upgraded. Our system has not worked since January 2023. That's six months now.
      3G quit working. We called customer support in February and spoke to someone. We were informed that the price would go up due to the needed upgrade. We told them we didn't want to pay more and they weren't keeping the contract. They told us the price could stay the same and they would extend the contract for 2 more years. We asked to talk to a Manager...nearly 6 months and no call-back. They couldn't support their system, but continued to take our money each month.
      They kept telling us it was happening because we declined their upgrade. We tried explaining that they were not providing service according to the terms of their contract. We asked them where it said in the contract that their rates could go up. She asked us to show where it didn't say they wouldn't. Really??? I read to them the promise we received from them when we received our contract. It states: "We promise your monitoring will not change for the primary term of your monitoring agreement."
      Received another letter, called customer support, they repeated their mantra saying we declined their offer for an upgrade, we said they violated the contract because of lack of ability to support their product. They consistently used the word FREE with the "if" attached to a 2 year extension.
      Result: Bought out the last 14 months of contract at 90%. Free at last.

      I have been with SHS for over twenty years and they were great until a few years ago. Now I can never get through to customer service no matter how many times I try and leave messages.No one responds.

      I am currently with Safe Home Security and I give them a flat zero 0 for a score. No good score period from me, but I had to leave a star so I posted 1. They have horrible service. They promise you service and you get nothing. They still be trying to get a tech support to come out to my home to fix a sensor issue. I honestly don't believe nor trust them period. I would like to let others know to NEVER sign a contract with this company. They are frauds!!! Poor service. Go with *** they have much better service.

      Is this even a legitimate business? I’ve had more issues than anyone could ever imagine! Against my better judgment I switched from ****** over to this company with three months left on my contract. So I’m not even actually in contract with these people yet but they refused to let me out so that I can continue on with ******. The issue is I moved to a new home and told the sales person I was going to ask if it would be an issue to move over and he said absolutely not. So six weeks later I still have no alarm system in my new home and I’m paying on an alarm system that sits in a vacant house right now! I have tried numerous times and waste many hours and days on the phone trying to remedy the situation and have still gotten no results! Only for them to tell me that they want to remove the old system that ****** installed three years ago that I’ve already completely paid for and bring it to my home and still have not even scheduled to do that! This company is horrible! Worst Customer Service I’ve ever experienced! I have sent numerous emails and made so many phone calls, trying to get this situation handled and still have not yet! Do not switch to this company! Their service does not even turn one star!

      I wish I would have delayed but I am on top now in hopes it not too late. Received a text via my cell saying....and from a number verified; we see that you have had your alarm system since ???? and qualify for an upgrade from 2G/3G to 5G at no ADDITIONAL COST to ensure that your system continues to communicate effectively and receive a FREE DOORBELL CAMERA.
      The salesman came out and told me he was from Safe Home Security and *** was who monitor the system and that would change. After the fact I started looking up the company and not until today checked BBB and see that they had a suit in court for contract terms and unlawful charging and contract so in a since is this Fraud, Spam or what????
      This is very concerning. We live in the world of everyone is paperless and you get 1000's of emails and most times you don't have an opportunity to check all and they hit spam. I searched emails today. Yes, ADT sent an email and had this been sent to me in paperform I would not be writing this. Safe Home Security

      Worst company ever! Our alarm hasn't worked in almost 2 years. We are always calling to set up an appointment, but the tech never shows. They continue to take out our monthly payment after they told us they would stop the payment. I would never, ever use this company.

      Wish I could give a zero! Out of the blue, this company has started to harass me, calling and sending me invoices for $1600 saying I "owe" them AND they even keep charging me $23.95 a month for monitoring services that I don't have! I have tried speaking to them, emailing them, but they continue with the harassments. I don't know who these people are, but this needs to stop!

      This company has literally just signed my elderly mother to a 3 year contract for security services. She has now had a major stroke and has vacated the home to live in assisted care. Not only has SHS refused to cancel her account, they have disregarded my calls and emails, closing every complaint and escalation without even speaking to me. It seems that she will be made to pay for the security service for the next 3 years despite the fact that another family has purchased the home and has their own service. Literally, unscrupulous behaviours from this company. Zero customer service. Do not use this company's services, they care only about money - not about their customers. Zero stars.

      This company took over from a prior security company and they have been a disaster from the start. Their customer service is atrocious and their management don't even care "They responded to me that they weren't equipped to handle all of the customer service calls after the takeover and asked me "What are we supposed to do ???""
      That is NOT my problem....if they cannot service the customer, they shouldn't CHARGE the customer.
      When I told them I wanted to cancel my service due to their lack of customer service, they told me "go ahead, you signed a contract". What a bunch of *&^%%.
      They autocharge my AMEX and never get back to me
      I am contesting the charges with **** now.
      Any advice would be appreciated.
