      THIS COMPANY PREYS ON THE ELDERLY . ZERO STARS My father is deceased. 4/09/21. (age 83) He was is seriously poor health when a solicitor signed this security agreement with him. Safe Home Security preys on the elderly. We had issues from the start: not cancelling prior security company, faulty equipment, and installation. My mother is in poor health (85 ) and has sold this home .Safe Home Security does not allow cancellation of the contract, the 66 month (!) contract has to be bought out at $1315.31 by the surviving spouse or transferred to a new home owner. This taking advantage of the elderly. This company sends 'salespeople ' to the elderly's home and binds them into a contract that is not understood. My parent’s neighborhood is an elderly demographic. I have provided a death certificate as requested to SHS. Obviously, the security system service no longer needed. A buy out of the contract is unfair to the surviving spouse; elderly, in poor health and widowed on a fixed income.

      I can see why they are not accredited by the BBB.
      For three months I have struggled to get an answer to the question of how much I still owe on my contract with Safe Home Security.
      Now they tell me my contract cannot be paid off, which has not been the case in many earlier phone conversations.
      Specifically Griselle Marin has been a road block. I have received a number from another employee of Safe Home and Griselle told me today that that individual must have been from another department and was not authorized to give me that information.
      I would NOT recommend doing business with Safe Home Security.

      worst company for home alarm service. i have had this service for over 5 years the cost keeps increasing with no discount to long time customers, my current problem i have is that the alarm needs upgrade i currently have warranty on the alarm yet this upgrade on alarm does not cover under the warranty! I was told that the upgrade on alarm will increase to $3 more to my current payment which is $55 i clearly told them i couldn’t afford another increase on the monthly payment they then offered to not increase my monthly payment and do the upgrade but would have to sign up for a longer contract i said i wasn’t interested in extending contract! meanwhile i been with non working alarm since the ugrade was needed over 8 months and yet company is billing me monthly for an alarm that is not working! have i passed due amount off over $800! i refuse to pay for an alarm that is not working. i have a contract that ends in September 2024

      WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! SCAMMERS!! SCAMMERS!!
      These people are scammers!!! They are stating that my 83 year old mom signed a contract with them. They will not provide a contract because there is not one. I am in contact with a Lawyer to sue this company. From what I have heard they have a multi million dollar Law Suite against them. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and making sure they can not take advantage of another elderly person. I am requesting if you want me to forward your names to my Lawyer please let me know so that we can put these scammers out of business. If you look at their reviews the are ripping off the Elderly!!!

      This is the worse alarm company I have ever dealt with. They have been sending bills to my deceased husband for the last 3 months. I have contacted them too many times to count. Each time I get a different person who doesn’t know what is going on. I was told that everything was in order and service would be switched to my name back in April. Now they have turned the bill over to collections because my deceased husband has not paid. I am beyond frustrated with Safe Home Security. I just want out, but they want me to pay over $1700 to cancel the contract. This company is a joke. Stay away from them at all cost.

      I have been dealing with technical issues since March 2023 and have been told many times that they would schedule a technician to come out to service the system. The technician was supposed to be here 7/31/23 at 7 pm but no show and no call explaining why. So I called the company and they said the technician in the area quite. But no one called me to reschedule. I have been told many times that they would credit my account but never have received any credits. If you don't live in the area of this company don't sign with them, heck even if you live in the area don't sign with them. My system is completely down and has been for weeks and no technician to fix it and they won't let me out off the so called contact. I have keeping my end of the deal. So who hasn't?

      No stars. The most toxic company ever. I have never signed a contract with them. They called me and told me that my contract had ended with T*** ********. I told them I did not want their service. I only had a three year contract with Toll Brothers so my contract had already ended almost two years already. All of a sudden I get a call that I owe SHS almost $500 for not paying them for a year. I told them that I never signed a contract but they keep telling me that they bought my contract. Their customer service was so rude, angry and insulting me. So I told him that I would not pay. Then I get a notice that they will notify the credit bureau so I paid the bill. I called them and told them to fix the alarm if I'm paying for it. They said they cannot fix it because **** ******** hard wired the house and SHS only uses wireless. The technician says he will send a wireless repair parts. SHS then calls me to tell me that they forgot to tell me it would cost $89.00 for the Technician's service after the fact. I told them I'm not paying $89.00 for nothing. They told me the only way to cancel is to pay out the contract. The contract I never signed. They say the contract renews automatically every year unless I cancel in writing and that they do not cancel contracts verbally. I see hundreds of people with the same problem.

      They came in and did Tortious interference on us. We were under contract with **** Home solutions and the guy was a fast talker. I was told by Teri Ne**** that ****** did that to them with us. She has been nicely pressuring us to stay with them. I told her that they did the tortious interference and she just said okay well you still have to pay us the $2971.00. I'm filing with the attorney General also. We're senior citizens on social security and we are tired of being railroaded by these people. She has called several times a day for a while. We got with them on 6-11-21 in which we were still under contract with **** **** solutions. It didn't matter to her, only that ****** came in and connected a lot better equipment. I've been paying both of these companies and my husband has been paying ******. When the young man came day before yesterday he said that's wrong and talked to his supervisor who said that there's no way we should have 3 companies! After talking with him, I was able to cancel with Wise, but Teri at Safe Home has different ideas for them. This is ridiculous how they treat people.

      Unprofessional. I did not originally hire this company for security, I used instead a locally owned company. They were bought out and in the beginning all was well. After I signed a renewal contract their customer service in regards to service on the system changed from good to non-existent. We would have issues with equipment, set up service appointments, set aside our time to be available, and the more often than not 30 mins to an hour before our appointment times we would be notified that for some reason or another the tech could not make it and we would have to reschedule. We would reschedule only to have exactly the same thing happen again. In the beginning it was my wife handling these issues as I only have 1 day a week off work and she was disabled and home all the time.
      After my wife passed away in May I have been home taking care of business, nearly 6 weeks as of today. I have called to set up work appointments with the same results. I finally called the company to find out how to cancel service. They said they required a cancellation letter to 'review'. I asked for, and received, the payoff amount on the existing contract. I sent the letter by e-mail July 12, 2023 and received a receipt acknowledgement the same day. On July 13th I sent them a payment for the full amount owed on the contract. I also stopped autopayment to their business at my bank. They want to process my letter 30 days that's fine, I have removed or disabled all their equipment except the main panel, as that will trigger an alarm. At the end of 30 days I will inform the local authoritites to ignore any notifications from this company and remove the panel. I was told they would not want the equipment back, but I will box it up and send it to them anyway.
      I will give them 1 star because they are very polite and professional on the phone. I see they have already been sued and a judgement filed by the attorney general in *********** for exactly these same business practices. Buyer Beware.
