      Stay away from Safe Home Security if you don't want to get ripped off.
      My mother is sellng her home, and SHS will not let her out of her contract without paying an exorbitant lump sum to cancel the contract.
      These folks are serious gangsters. It is obvious that they have lobbyists in DC to bribe our "representatives" to allow them to collect payment when a person does not reside in the home any longer, and does not require SHS's services. Talk about Jedi mind trick?
      The only other option is for my mother to employ the SHS security system in her caregiver's home. The cargiver already has a security system, and does not need SHS's system, so my mother is stuck.
      SHS offered a two month discount to my mother if she provides SHS with the name of the buyer of my mother's home. I told the SHS Rep. that I would do no such thing, because I don't want the buyer of my mother's home to get ripped off by SHS. The audacity of them trying to use my mother as an agent for them. Give me a break...
      Isn't it ironic that the buyer of my mother's home would be charged a higher monthly fee than my mother is currently paying?
      I want a business that will allow me to continue to charge customers after they no longer need my firm's services. Talk about corrupt? Safe Home Security Systems is the poster child for corruption.
      Stay as far away from these thugs as you can.

      Elder ABUSE!!! This company has taken advantage of my elderly parents. They had no idea what they were signing. So now they are locked into a 5 year contract, Who does that? When we call to cancel and confront the issue they say they can't do anything about it since my parents signed. Elders don't deserve to be bullied by businesses or anyone. And to take advantage of them is awful. We will definitely contact our lawyer.

      We signed up on a month-to-month basis, not planning on staying at the residence more than another year or two. We kept the "service" for about a year and half, then my daughter got cancer. Times got hard and we needed to tighten up on unnecessary expenses. We called to cancel, in 2019 and were TOLD we were on a 5 year contract. We demanded proof of the signed contract. Of course, we knew there would be none. We pressed the issue and stopped making any payments. They directed us to put the cancellation in a letter, which we did. We thought it was resolved, when it suddenly appeared on my daughters credit report. By this time she was already moved from that residence. We wrote a "Cease and Desist" letter and we reported the fraud. It was removed from her credit report. This has continued for 5 years until about 2 months ago, after we filed fraud with California and Connecticut department of justice and consumer affairs, in addition to the BBB in both states. This company has already been indicted, prosecuted and fined for their multiple instances of fraud in their home state. California is next! :D

      The salesmen told me that after i pay $76 for one year, I would only paying $10 and they are still charging me $59.99 plus $10, every month. They are still charging me ever month... i have not used their junk fir 2 yrs and they still trying to charge me for a $952.49 (as we speak)...

      Rip off. No contract given to me. Sales person stated that I could cancel any time. I tried canceling in two months. Did not have any contact information. After six months, I got billing on credit card and called and tried canceling and they stated I could not cancel after six months. I have disconnected the system and they’re still charging me after I’ve had numerous notifications to cancel, it has been three years and I’m still being charged

      We bought a subscription to ***** ******** Home Security with our new build, and they turned around and sold that service to Safe Home Security. It was a scam from the beginning, and Safe Home Security would not let us out from the contract we never signed with them without paying the termination fee. They were horrible to deal with and took every opportunity to string the process out. As for the product itself, when a false alarm would be triggered they never called as most companies would do. Not worth a dime of your money or a minute of your patience.

      I want to cancel my service. I make a phone call for almost 1 hours for service cancelation. But the company always put me on hold. I remember probably 1 or 2 year ago, I call the company to ask cancelation, they told me that they can not cancel my service without application, they promise mail the application to me soon. However, I never receive the application. I feel that I make a big mistake have a business with this company, because it is not easy to get out. I really do not recommend everyone have business with them

      I no longer have service with this business. They could not repair my system and they broke it. This has been 3 to 5 years ago. Then I end up with a bill of $1200. This is wrong. I went with *** because SHS broke my system. Safe Home Security would not help and they damaged my security system.. Special Note. SHS damaged my system and I immediately went with *** which has preformed successfully! I need this removed from my credit report because I have maintained excellent credit and I need that protected. Thank You for your help.

      SafeHome rep stated that ****** was being bought out by them & they switched our ****** equipment to SafeHome. When we tried to cancel within 3 days, we were told that we could not cancel unless we paid out our full contract of $3,000+. We called within the 3 days and were denied, because we had checked with Brrinks to find out if this was true. They indicated that it was false information. Now we are back with ****** and are being double billed to include SafeHome fees.
