      I want to cancel my service. I make a phone call for almost 1 hours for service cancelation. But the company always put me on hold. I remember probably 1 or 2 year ago, I call the company to ask cancelation, they told me that they can not cancel my service without application, they promise mail the application to me soon. However, I never receive the application. I feel that I make a big mistake have a business with this company, because it is not easy to get out. I really do not recommend everyone have business with them

      I no longer have service with this business. They could not repair my system and they broke it. This has been 3 to 5 years ago. Then I end up with a bill of $1200. This is wrong. I went with *** because SHS broke my system. Safe Home Security would not help and they damaged my security system.. Special Note. SHS damaged my system and I immediately went with *** which has preformed successfully! I need this removed from my credit report because I have maintained excellent credit and I need that protected. Thank You for your help.

      SafeHome rep stated that ****** was being bought out by them & they switched our ****** equipment to SafeHome. When we tried to cancel within 3 days, we were told that we could not cancel unless we paid out our full contract of $3,000+. We called within the 3 days and were denied, because we had checked with Brrinks to find out if this was true. They indicated that it was false information. Now we are back with ****** and are being double billed to include SafeHome fees.

      Frustrating Horrible Service!!! Beware!
      I have pages and pages of attempts to resolve problems with my Safe Home Security account.
      With my 1st contact made by Safe Home the person told me he was calling for *** and told me I needed updates. What a mistake!!! That was a downright lie. I had been with *** for years with NO issues. This person wasn't from *** but from Safe Home. That happened the spring/summer of
      2023
      I’ve made every monthly payment and am being told I owe close to $300. I can prove through bank statements I’ve made every payment but they insist I owe the money- for what I have no idea.
      I was told months ago by Safe Home my device was defective. I have pages and pages of texts such as “carbon monoxide detector off then on then off. I have had the fire department to my home twice for FALSE alarms from Safe Home. I can prove this with numerous pages of texts I saved from “Safe Home.”
      I have attempted to contact numerous phone numbers for Safe Home and have filed complaints with their “complaint department AND Collections. As an example on Monday 3/18/24 I called numerous phone numbers for Safe Home. Being on hold for over 45 minutes is unacceptable. To top it off I did not receive ONE call back from ANY department. Even as of today 3/21/24 not one employee from Safe Home has called me back.
      I begged/pleaded for a return call.
      I got to the point today where I tried to contact the CEO with NO success. My only option from the Safe Homes site was LinkedIn and that did me absolutely nothing. I could not contact Dave Roman CEO.
      I will NOT use the defective device because I cannot afford to have the fire department at my home again. Hence I have no security system. How am I supposed to feel since my home is NOT protected? I can't because it isn't.
      From my experience I would tell anyone to avoid dealing with Safe Home.

      Never had any issues until I moved. At that point it’s all been downhill. The house I left still has my alarm and they aren’t even aware of it. I was told I had signed a 5 year contract so I could either pay the remaining balance of 3 years, or move it to my new home for another $199.00 fee. I said would do that, then they said I would need to sign a new 5 year contract, why would I want to do that. This company is not a company I would recommend to anyone let alone put myself having to have to deal with them for another 2 years.

      Absolutely awful customer service. I agreed to sign a 3yr contract and upgrade my system to 4g in return they would replace all of the batteries in my system for free. I have 35 zones so this is a big expense on my end.
      1 year later, i am still trying to get their end of the agreement completed. At this point they are saying 'there is nothing in our files'.
      I can't wait for this contract to end so I can go to another company.
      They are really the worst company I've ever dealt with.

      When I called to cancel our service, the customer svc rep said we couldn’t because they had automatically renewed the contract.
      I didn’t get a paper copy in the mail stating it was up for renewal. All emails went to spam because it was listed under ******** and not safe home. I still didn’t find a contract renewal. According to our records it was good until March 9 2024. So why did they renew that early? The rep was argumentative and basically said we are stuck with the service and closed out the account. I reported them to BBB.

      YOU WILL CANCEL the contract. A certified letter with return signature has been sent to your office:
      1125 Middle Street #201, Middletown, CT 06457, today – 02-26-24.
      Although the one-line cancellation states by tomorrow, midnight, we are both over 70-years of age and are given by law 5-days to cancel any contract. Another stipulation your salesperson failed to mention as well as the two-copies I was to receive not a one-liner.
      Having her attempt to read a contract on an ipad he was holding under her nose and pointing where to initial and sign in such small print, that even when I attempted to print it in larger print I was not able to no so. I could only enlarge the print on my laptop to read the hidden agenda.
      A five-year contract. Never mentioned to us. If this had been addressed, the conversation would have ceased immediately. We have a month-to-month contract with our current company. A company which he continually degraded. This is very poor business practice.
      A “tech” showed up shortly after he left to change out the equipment. This did not happen. He only removed the other company’s code and entered yours, put in a different battery, nothing wrong with the previous battery, and attempted to move the sensor in the master bedroom which came off, landed on the floor, and my dog found, now useless.
      Apparently your salesman, saw an older woman, 79-yrs old answer the door, I, 73, was holding my dog who did not like either of your people, had to be held on to. And she bought it hook, line and sinker!
      I Know You Have To Cancel The Contract. You have to retrieve your battery immediately or it is forfeited. As it is now I have to have my old company walk me through resetting my alarm system. The one and only thing I want to receive from you is a cancelation notice. (period)

      Just called with a simple request to cancel our contract that expires in April. I am a senior and I was brutally harassed by their representative !! It didn't matter the reasons for our cancellation (dog..finances)the woman talked over me refusing to listen to anything I said. She just kept at it, arguing and arguing on why she wouldn't cancel our account. I finally just had to hang up, I was so upset and shaking!
      This awful person called back and then tried to text me!
      0 stars!!!
