I would give negative stars to this company just because of the overall decency they dont carry with their users. I wanted to say that my parents have been a loving user of ********************** email for a very long time and used to be the only source they would trust to use an email with until my dad recently randomly got signed out of his account. He has no recovery email and the phone number linked to his account is his old phone number. We tried multiple options that all end with us coming back and paying for help. He is old and doesnt know how to work a lot of the technology on his phone and it makes it worse that there is no way to contact yahoo unless its under a paid option just to talk to somebody. Yahoo is the worst when it comes to things like this and it just makes these things worse when youre in a pickle and all they can do is basically nothing without milking you for money. Other apps like Gmail will gladly help you get back and recover your account as far as I know and they are definitely better than yahoo thats a fact. All I know is that yahoo has been no help and its going to take ages to unlink his yahoo email to everything that it is associated with ??.

Cannot get my password fixed or changed because my phone numbers and old verification email are no longer active. This yahoo account is my oldest account and I need it at least to move over to a newer email. When I call for help I get hung up on and or requested payments to fix several times do not recommend at all. I at least want temporary access to gather contacts and emails and historical emails from my sons old schools. This has messed up my entire I phone as it was the primary for Apple ID.

AOL is running ads for **************, a China-based jewelry company that falsely advertises jewelry and the jewelry looks nothing like the photos. I even received the wrong product and they laugh at you when you try to return it. AOL is responsible for supporting false advertisment.

I have had my Yahoo Email (*******) for over 20 years and have been satisfied up until now. Today when using my correct username and password (so nothing should of been a problem) they are asking to verify my account. The email I have to verify is another Yahoo Email account but I couldn't verify because that 2nd Yahoo Email account is also asking to verify itself to my first Yahoo Email account. So I am in some crazy, frustrating and irritating loop I can't escape from. To make matters worse Yahoo doesn't offer free human chat or phone customer service. They want to charge me a $12.99/month subscription to even talk about this "problem" which THEY created wanting to verify an account after the proper username and password was used. This sounds like extortion to me! I should not have to pay to access my email account when nothing is wrong with the username or password. This experience has really shattered my opinion of Yahoo. I wish I could give zero stars. After reading about many other people with the exact same situation or very similar situations, I do wonder how much longer Yahoo will remain a relevant company going forward. Treating consumers of your product this way is not the way to keep people using their service. All I want (and many other people) is for Yahoo to provide FREE customer support when their is a problem...and especially in this case when the problem was created by Yahoo in the first place...and then solve the problem!

What a disappointing app with constant new issues. I've had this app working for some time. Made up my own list of my stocks and I was able to fund it to keep track daily. All of a sudden most of my funding disappeared. I've tried everything from resetting my phone, deleting all my cookies cache and data then resetting my phone again and uploading the app one more time. Same thing it will not allow me to fund my stocks anymore. So I decided to start a whole new account under an older email address I have. First things they say is we sent a passcode to your email address which never showed up. Then I changed it to my phone number which they answered I have several accounts to that phone number would I like to separate the accounts and delete the old one so of course I tried that. They sent a six digit code to my phone number this time but when I put in the six digit code it wouldn't accept it to the point where I said too many trials come back later. This app is so full of problems and you don't seem to care to fix it because everywhere you research about disappearing stocks and erasing your funds you end up finding a bunch of complaints about this app with people having the same problems. If you really want to see how bad they are try getting in touch with them through a chat, email or phone number but you'll never get in touch with anyone. That should be the Golden rule before using any app. Try getting in touch with customer service before using an app especially when you have to pay with auto renewal. It's too bad they had something good going but they don't seem to care to fix any of the problems and it's a giant waste of time especially when you're doing stock trading daily. Time to move on from this useless app since they don't care why should I.

Have had yahoo for 20 years. I am having the same issues as others. My phone number changed. Can not get into my emails now. Need help but can not get help unless I pay for the help. I am a veteran and all my VA emails go through my yahoo email account. Now I can not access my email for that correspondence. To me it seems to have turned into a trap. Something goes wrong with your account so you have to pay to get the help. Is yahoo sabotaging email accounts so you have to give them money for help? Don't know but seems that way.

Extremely disappointed with Yahoo Mails support team. When I became a victim of an email bomb scam and reached out for assistance, I received no help. For a company whose core service revolves around email, the lack of guidance or responsiveness was incredibly unprofessional. I was left to navigate the situation entirely on my own. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Yahoo's ability to support its users during critical issues. Also, the audacity to charge $12.99 and to offer 0 support. Do not use Yahoo or subscribe to Yahoo Plus.

******** customer service. Could not get in contact with anyone about my password reset. Went through the automated message and it states it cant retrieve my account. This is ridiculous. So fed up that not only do we have to pay a fee for said customer service but I cant even get through because it states they cant access my account. Horrible service.

My computer was infected by McAfee/****** and my technician removed their material. My ******** and ************************** accounts then could not be accessed. After trying a few times to get back ********, they restored my account. However ********************** (now owned by Yahoo) could not be restored. I have been trying for five days to retrieve my AOL email which contains valuable information, and have been provided with nonfunctional methods of accessing my account. I have spent over an hour on the phone with them (her) and they keep telling me to follow procedures which do not function. They finally hung up on me. The communication was with a lady in the *********** who refused to give me a workable method of getting my verification.
