I am giving Yahoo a 1 star because you cant give no stars. I have had my yahoo acct. since I was in school. ******* husband had our accts connected and because I had to get a new PC and he lost his pass **** when we went to log into our accts we were automatically locked out of the email due to not recognizing the new PC. We called several times to try and get the password ***** & to unlock the acct but was told each time we would have to pay for a subscription of *****. I have always been told Yahoo would never charge to retrieve your pass *** I guess false advertising now doesn't matter.

Yahoo sports has a Rivals Nittany Nation website that has an annual subscription. for about 14 years the annual subscription was auto-renewed one or two days before it expired. about 3 years ago they started auto-renewing 2 or more months in advance cutting short the annual subscription by two month by early withdraw of funds. They have a policy that you can cancel the subscription 2 days before it expires. My original dat of subscription was December 20, ****. This year they attempted to auto-renew me on 9/28,2023 instead of 12/18/2022 using an old credit card number that was hacked and replaced. After a few attempts the credit card company allowed the charge to go through. Sine my subscription should not expire until 12/19/2022 i called to cancel and receive a refund for the premature extension and payment on auto renewal. I was denied stating that it was past the time to cancel and the abruptly end the chat session. (no Live person can be found at yahoo) I made several attempts at correcting the issue and I was put off by several people at their Rivals business. I am presently unemployed and certainly could use my money but the truth is that I can afford to be screwed. This is now a principle thing for me. I am still in last year's subscription, they have no authority to shorten a prepaid ANNUAL subscription and they have no right to prematurely debit my account without permission. I want people to know about their fraudulent practices. Please let me know if there are other organization where I can lodge a complaint. Thank you for your help.

There has been an issue with their app password ********* that's been going on for several months and has not yet figured out the problem. People pay money for services with this company and can't use the features. *** they do is give you the run around.

They didn't reach out for a solution. It was a blanket apology for the poor job they are doing. This problem should have been fixed a long time ago. They are hurting for money so they are subjecting their users to ads by making them use the browser or making them pay a premium to remove the ads. These people are a joke. One day, if that it would take me to fix the issue. They could at least disable it until it is fixed. Again I do not except the apology for a **** poor job. Thanks

Very discouraged. Need a lawyer who might specialize in this situation.
My aol account that I've had about 23 years was hacked into. All off my recovery options were changed and then changed again to where they have the recovery/reset info going back to that same account.
Aol customer service will not help me because I can not verify the criminals new information that he/she has used to replace my correct info. I have asked that they go back a few days before my accounts were stolen to verify the changes that were made. They refused to help me. Personal information that I have shared through my email address for business, taxes, family deaths have all been shared via this account. I have had this account for more than 23 years. It is linked to the majority of my accounts including a business account. All accounts have been compromised. I contacted AOL the first day that this happened. They refused to help me. Therefore, all of my personal information, including that of my family members have lay open and available to a criminal for over a week now. I'm not happy. I'm working in another state, have had to change important accounts and my phone number. Everything was linked to this aol account. I'm very stressed. I need help legally. AOL leaves old account holders defenseless. Please help me with this. (stolen accounts)

I gave this one star because it was not an option for no stars. Yahoo mail is suppose to be a free service. I got locked out of my account and tried to reset my password *** it wouldn't let me online so I had to call customer service. I spent over 39 min on the phone authenticating my account. *** questions were answered correctly and they refused to un block my account and let me reset my password **** out paying them *****. What a scam. Horrible customer service. I asked to speak to a manager and was denied access to one. I said I don't want to pay ***** just to reset my password **** I was advised it was a monthly billed fee not just one time. I was forced to pay the fee to get in my account and now that I got the information I needed from my email I will be deleting the account. This is the worst company and a huge money scam.
