      they are trying to make me pay $12.99 for a subscription to access customer service to get back into my account that I no longer have the number too so I am not able to reset my password or get a verification code to.

      I was prompted to re-enter my password for my email address as I got logged out (I logged in per usual) I was then prompted to verify my identity with the 6 digit code sent to my recovery email. Signed into that email address then was also prompted to put in the 6 digit code. The two emails are each other's recovery email therefore I cant access either one to verify and am being sent in a circle. I have called customer service several times for over a month. I have even scanned my ID to verify and still havent received help. They also say they can only help you if you pay for a subscription. This is an error on behalf of them and their system. I know my sign in information and should have access to my account upon entering my password.

      I can no longer access my yahoo email address with the correct email. It keeps saying error. The website will not let me change or recover my password without paying. Its making me pay to use their customer service. Its a scam.

      Hello,I have been a loyal Yahoo customer for over 15 years and am very frustrated because Im currently locked out of my email account:Email: ***************************************** I recently changed my phone and no longer have access to the old phone numbers listed on my Yahoo account:************ ************ My new phone number is:225-461-246X Ive tried all of Yahoos online recovery tools, but since I no longer have the old numbers or access to the old recovery email (an old college email that no longer exists), Im completely stuck. When I try to reset my password, the only options offered are codes sent to those old phone numbers or the old email address, which I cannot use anymore.I use my Yahoo email for personal matters, important documents, and account logins for other services, so losing access is causing me significant stress and problems.I am requesting:Assistance updating my recovery phone number on my account Help regaining access to my Yahoo email I have been a loyal user for many years and would deeply appreciate help resolving this matter.Thank you for your time and assistance.

      I've been locked out of Yahoo Email for over 7 months now. I've called Yahoo Support then they forced me to pay for premium help to continue recovering my account. After paying $12.99 for Yahoo Plus Secure Pro they told me that they are unable to help me with my problem and rudely hanged up on me. I've called Yahoo Support 4 times which ended in the same result with no progress but disrespectful behavior. 4/30/2025 $12.99 Yahoo Plus Secure Pro Card/******* The business has not tried to resolve the problem. The ad was mentioned in the support call to continue getting help.

      I cannot access my email through yahoo mail, despite having my password. It keeps telling me "Try a device you've signed in with before." I have only ever signed in my yahoo mail on my home computer and have had yahoo mail on my iPhone for years, which I never have to log into. Ever since it wouldn't let me log in on my home computer, yahoo has also stopped my mail from updating on my phone. I realized this went I tried to send a message and it wouldn't send or update my inbox. I tried logging in on my iPhone and now it's doing the samething as my computer. They both accept that I'm using the correct password and want me to verify with alternate email or phone number, which has never been set up with the account. And when I can't it says try a device you've signed in with before. I have had this email for more than 15 years and know my password. Yahoo now wants me to pay money to recover my account. I feel like I feel as if this is a scam by yahoo to gain money from its customers. All I want is to check my email, it's the only email I use and is extremely frustrating. My email is *********************************** perhaps I should notify the local and prime time news stations. The attached screenshot shows what happens AFTER I log on *********************************** with the correct password.

      I have two Yahoo accounts that I don't have access to anymore because of the infinite verification loop with both Yahoo accounts requiring verification from each other. Both account are more than 10 years old. This happened on June 27, 2025.I've tried all options already with ******************************* and Yahoo Support.First, I can't get through auto voice mail support to get an Yahoo agent. After providing the 6 pin number, it can't go to the next step because the account is not verified.Then I got a number from Yahoo ************* to call ***************). Got through to a Yahoo agent and provided the driver's license ID to verify for both ********************** accounts except the agent claimed that they're unable to verify again to regain access. Agent told me to try calling again another time with no other options on verification.Requesting help from BBB on the resolution to this issue.

      I have been locked out of my email. I know the right ******************** its then asking for a 2 step verification through a recovery email thats been deleted havent had in years or a phone # that I also havent had in years. Ive called yahoo MANY times regarding the situation they then send me a link to scan my I.D for a biometric verification and its failed every single time. Its so not fair how their system is failing me. I can provide all documentation to show Im the rightful owner of the account. I have so many important documents in that email. A good amount of money in that email. If you guys can be gracious enough to please mediate the retrieval of my account, Ive had this email for many years already & it would financially hurt me to lose the account and lose important documents that I have. The reason I lost the account because I damaged my phone and when I received the new phone through my phone insurance it made me re-login then all this mess happened.

      my email got kicked out of on my phone app and I couldnt get back in because I forgot the password and I had a new phone number so the one on file wouldnt be of any help and that the email on file to retrieve from was an old college email that no long exists And also that I tried calling yahoo multiple times and kept getting robots and the one time I got a real person I sent them my id and info and they still said I didnt have access.

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my ongoing inability to recover my ************************* email account, which I have used for approximately 20 years. I recently reached out to customer service for assistance and provided detailed information that only I, as the legitimate account owner, would know. I also complied with the required verification steps, including submitting a photo of my ID and a selfie. Despite my efforts to explain the specific issues that might be causing the verification process to failand despite providing additional information that should have been sufficient for validationI was informed that none of this was adequate to confirm my identity. The customer service representative explained that Yahoo has a single, inflexible process related to my specific instance for account recovery and that my case could not be escalated, regardless of the circumstances.This situation is highly disruptive. I rely on this email address for critical communications, and I am currently missing important messages that are being sent to this account. The inability to access my account is also affecting my access to other services and accounts that are linked to this email address.I urge Yahoo to reconsider its policies and provide customers with alternative methods for account recovery, especially in cases where the current process is demonstrably insufficient. As a long-term user, I find it unacceptable that there is no recourse or escalation path for legitimate users who are unable to regain access to their accounts.Please treat this as a formal complaint and respond with a solution or further options for resolving this issue.
