      I am reaching out due to something that completely left me in shock. My brother in law was unable to log into his yahoo account, due to him getting a new phone number, so we had to look into Yahoo to see how to add his new phone number to gain access into his account. The only method was to pay phone support and agree to be charged ***** a month. What in the absolute world do we live in where you have to be charged monthly to get access into your email account? Gmail is free, and all other email services are free to have an email account. Never heard of such a scam in our life. He had to submit his government id and when submitted was told we would have to pay monthly to gain access back into our email account. This is a scam, and a service that needs to be shutdown immediately.

      ******************************************** and ****************************************** both was paid subscribes and showed my ID to get my email address account but now when I call and input the codes from recovery EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY DONT ANSWER AND PHONE CALL JUST HANGS UP

      Im filing a complaint against Yahoo (**********************) for deceptive and exploitative account recovery practices.After losing access to my Yahoo email (password disappeared from my iPhone), I tried to recover my account using *********************** official recovery tools. I was sent into a frustrating and unending loop: Id verify my phone, get a code, be sent to a recovery email, then redirected to a page saying I needed to call Premium Support or use a free site. The free site just returned me to the start. There was no real way to reset my password.Eventually, I was asked to submit sensitive personal documents including a government-issued ID and a selfie holding it just to recover my account. I was also directed to a page asking me to pay to get help. This is unacceptable, especially for a service as essential as email. Recovery should not require handing over private documents or paying money without any guarantee of help.Its unclear if this Premium Support is run by Yahoo or a third party. Either way, this creates a feeling of being extorted for access to my own account. Theres no accessible or transparent way to speak to a human or fix the issue without giving up money or privacy.I request that Yahoo/******* stop pressuring users into dead-end loops and paid recovery paths, and provide a free, honest, and secure way for users to recover their accounts.******* ******

      Scam website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ELIMINATE THIS AD, IT'S A FARCE!!! You get to the page and you can't click on anything, there's no cursor, and the only way to make it stop is to do the old school control alt delete combo. It was under the title "Have you claimed your 2025 food allowance" or "Have you claimed your 2025 healthy food allowance" and this is why I don't like having ads in my emails. I do not have a picture.

      I received an email from ************* postal around 7:30am on 7/24:2025 and no emails since ******* currently logged in the app but im unable to make a change,make premium payments,view spam and old emails received and sent,im unable to view my other emails attached to my account.I called ********************** customer support and was told to give it a few hours and try again accessing my email and logging in on other devices as well.I have work information and information that I need to access to log into other sites.i cant get passwords sent to my email for verification.I cant nothing but sit and wait not sure whats causing this or whats happening.I had to use my family to reach out to BBB cause my yahoo cant be access and other people on various sites I expressing the same concerns.some said its been happening since last night,but it started this morning for me I just need clarification cause I have important files and data I need to access.Please I just want to know if all will be well later ***** email is **************************************

      I was hacked and locked out of my yahoo account. I have been trying to reach out to yahoo for help with no resolution. I have had this account since 2003 and have so muh tied to it.       My Yahoo account has been inactivated or non-functional since 7/15/25. When I try to log into my account to see what the issue is it will not allow me to access the account without PAYING for customer service. There is no chat option or unpaid customer service offer. I am effectively logged out of an e-mail account I have had for years by the company forcing me to pay for issues I did not create. ************************************** ************ *********** is holding my communications hostage to force me to pay for a subscription for services I don't need. I need access to my e-mails including tickets and historical information. There are no other options being offered to help me reset passwords and gain access to my own data.

      I put in a complaint because yahoo was trying to make me pay to recover my account - I was able to recover my sccount on my own while on the phone about to pay for the recovery Now yahoo has closed or cancelled or locked me out of my account due to putting in a complaint against them and I am no longer able to log in despite having the correct username, password and 2 step verification in place. I have tried to log in via iPhone mail app which was working as of 7am and as of 10 am is no longer working nor will it let me sign in despite the correct information and I tried to sign in to the app despite using the correct password and multi factor authentificsiton it will not allow me to get in to see any emails. As you can see above I am trying to use a new email and port over all my accounts currently due to yahoo locking me out for absolutely zero reason - they have known Ive had access to my account because I was on the phone with customer support when I gained access and I put in my resolution for the previous compliant I was able to gain access on my own

      I have had a yahoo account for almost 20 years now, but both my main and recovery accounts are lo ked and they demand money for any kind of customer support. This is borderline criminal behavior, and I want to get into my account, rather than having it held for ******.
