      I received an error saying to re-enter my password. Its been a while since I have updated my info. When trying to reset my password it required my previous phone numbers info and that it was going to send the password to that phone which I no longer have access to. I tried calling a live agent and even attempting to pay for the live agent but it kept disconnecting me. I dont know how else to resolve this. Please help!

      On 9/16/25, my identity was compromised, including my telephone number and yahoo email address. The individuals began utilizing both the change passwords and pins. I attempted to lock my email, which I was able to do. In order to get yahoo support to access my email, I had to pay for their "premium customer service" support, which I did and was charged for. At that point, I spoke with no less than 3 reps who told me that they could not assist me, and they sent me an email with a link to a chat that they stated was their "senior" support and they could only assist over chat. Because I was already cautious due to my identity being stolen, I did not click the chat link until 9/19. I began a chat and informed them of the concern, and they stated I would need to submit the front and back of driver's license in the chat. I asked for a secure link or another method, as again I shared with them my identity had been stolen and they are asking me to send my ID over an unsecured chat. They told me that was the only way I could regain access to account. I will eventually request a refund, but as of now my complaint is, that I have, on record to their customer service department and chat told them my identity was compromised, and they are not willing to address my concern of lack of security of their process, and I cannot get into the email to see what additional fraudulent activity has taken place over the past week (outside of what I see on my credit reports and credit cards). And there is no human that I can speak with that can assist me.

      I have had my email account for as long as I remember. Everything was fine until I was suddenly logged out for no reason on my phone 9/17/2025. I can easily prove the account is mine. I have tried contacting customer support but I somehow fail the verification. In addition to this, I do not recall ever making security questions and answers. Im am hoping I can get help in logging into my account using my phone.

      I have had yahoo mail over 15 years and I cant access my account anymore. I havent used the password in years and I only have verification through my cell number. I do not have access to the email that was used years ago. I cant believe that Yahoo will only let you update the password and reset information via a paid phone call. All of my accounts are attached to this email.

      I Ive had my yahoo account for over 20 years and suddenly on September 7, 2025. My emails stopped working and gave me an error message that I had to re-enter my password which I did and got another error message that said something went wrong try again later I called Yahoo numerous times and followed all directions, including trying to verify my account which they kept saying that their system wasnt able to verify. I explained to them the importance of my account as I use it to communicate with my doctor, which is very important at this time. My email account is also used for all my communication with various bills that I have as well as many other things. I need to get my email account back to working but yahoo is definitely not helping me at all and I am so frustrated especially because for over 20 years it has worked with no problem and I find it very unprofessional and inconvenient for yahoo to basically hold my account hostage , and not give me a resolution to an extremely important issue They also keep telling me the account is locked and to a 24 hours and try again which I have done numerous times, and even waited 48 hours but still keep getting the same error message. They also told me to try signing in on their website instead of using my normal way of going into my email and that did not work also. I need to get this resolved but obviously calling them is not going to do anything. Also, the email that I listed in this complaint is the email that is not working so I couldnt even receive an email if you tried to answer me via email. I listed my email that is not working, so yahoo has the email that needs to be unlocked and working immediately.

      aol will not give me my email back, contacted them 3 or 4 times about this they want money to fix proplem , my self and my computer tect heard him say is was at there end. Ihave been with aol for app 30 plus years and over night they took my password If you need my computer tect info it is . she is with me on this proplem A2Zcumputer **** ******* ************ . thank you ***** my email is [but it dont work] *************************************

      On Thursday morning my email quit automatically signing me in and told me to refresh my browser. I did so, and my email started looping around and wouldn't let me in. The recovery cell phone number listed on my account was cancelled several months ago and all I have is a home phone number that doesn't accept texts. I tried to get back in to my email and was blocked for 24 hours. Saturday after more unsuccessful login attempts I unsuccessfully attempted to set up another Yahoo account, and finally called Yahoo customer care. Because I don't own a cell phone they couldn't (wouldn't) help me get into my account. They wanted me to text them a copy of my drivers license to get back in, but, since I don't have a cell phone that isn't possible. I offered them the cell phone belonging to a relative in ************** (I am in *******) where they could send a code, but that wasn't acceptable to them. They didn't offer any alternatives that I could do. I offered to fax my drivers license to them but they said that was unacceptable. I offered lots of alternative identifying information, but they refused to help. I have had this account since 2002, and desperately needed it Saturday to contact friends about another friend's death, but we are out of luck. I am 73, have no cell reception where I live and no use for a cell phone, and find that this discriminates against we older people who are not as tech savy and can't afford all the latest tech gadgets.
