Zero stars, very hateful towards the freedom of speech, unless it suits their agenda. They bite, big times should be banned from, having this kind of control what speech is allowed.

I recently had to get a new phone number and the email you have on record is no longer in use. It was a school account. I graduated and no longer have that recovery email. I CALLED YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO GET MY ACCOUNT RECOVERED. Unfortunately, your company wasted 20 minutes of my time. Due to the fact that I was verified and sent my driver's license then be told I need to spend money on premium services. This is horrible service

I have been locked out of TWO of my accounts because I setup two factor authentication and had to abruptly change my telephone number. Now they want me TO PAY in order to speak to their customer service. What trash... I've never seen this tactic before. Yahoo, your company is sinking bad and you should just call it quits if you need to charge your users for customer support.

Yahoo.com has become a media site for ******. No use in calling the ***** Prime number provided. You will get the run around from half speaking English staff who's sitting there looking at your password after you've given your most intimate details about your account. 1st recovery info 2nd recovery info. Only to be told that you've used up your free recovery offer and it will be $12.99 to access your "no longer" free email account. So,"****" played his role well, but he thought I was going to give him (this stranger) my credit card information after sitting here giving him the first part of my personal information on a recorded line to give him my credit card numbers on the same recorded phoneline?? So, I'm ousted for not paying up the ****** Yahoo.com is holding customers' FREE email accounts for $12.99 subscription. Never forget your password, it will cost you!

Yahoo censored me because I said college admissions should be based on merit instead of any other factors. So they banned me for providing any other comments as they said my statement was in violation of their guidelines. What???

My complaint is the same. How can the belief that college admissions should be based on merit be an opinion that is outrageous or one that inspires violence? Just recently was a post on Yahoo that said an extremely talented young man that had two published books, a top GPA score, and several awards but yet denied admission to the top Ivy League Colleges. This I disagree with. Since when is expressing an opinion against the 1st amendment to the Constitution? Only in a tightly controlled dictatorship would this be considered illegal or censored. Is this what Yahoo stands for? Whoever sits in judgment must be morons with absolutely no idea the meaning of the 1st amendment or the intention of why it is a founding concept and principle of *****************! This fundamental and a basic civic right of ******** citizens. I dont know how better to explain this simple, basic right!

I had previously filed a complaint under #********. Today I requested the BBB close that complaint because I disagreed with Yahoo's poor customer service. And I wanted to post a review based on their response. Every time I attempt to log into my account. I see a pop up ad that reads ," A faster, more personalized inbox" to use Yahoo Mail App or Chrome to continue. I don't understand why Yahoo would recommend the "Mail App". If your mobile phone is lost or stolen. Anyone can easily access private information in your yahoo email account with one click of the button. And they are encouraging Yahoo customers to use this unprotected feature via the pop up ad despite the negative consequences. Yahoo's response to me was to update my mobile phone browser. My mobile phone device does this "automatically" each day. When I updated the browser myself the ad continues to pop up. It is becoming very annoying each time I attempt to access my account without experiencing these difficulties. With Yahoo failing to provided a adequate resolution to resolve the software issue on their end. Yahoo has ***** complaints with the BBB. I see why they are not a member of the Better Business Bureau. Because they lack integrity on handling customer service issues with efficiency.

Yahoo has received the users feedback and will look into the issue they are reporting. Yes, Yahoo does have a pop up to educate users about our mobile experience as some users find it safer and easier to access their Yahoo Mail. Yahoo featured aren't for everyone and it is the users choice if they opt out of the option or not. Each users experience *** vary depending on how they are accessing their account and the issue they *** be experiencing at the time. In this case, we will take the feedback and look into the pop up feature to ensure it is working as intended.

Yahoo did not let me send a response to a man who insulted me on a comment I wrote. I was writing to support ***********************. This man called me poorly educated which I have a Bachelors Degree so I called him a liberal piece of trash. There is no difference vs what he said to me. When you call someone poorly educated it is the same context as calling someone trash. This is a violation of free speech which is a constitutional right. They let liberal's say whatever they want about ***** or his supporters without censorship. This is why people have such violent rhetoric on both sides from one another. They push the narrative that conservatives are wrong and evil but all the crimes from their side the liberal side are ok. To me yahoo is trash just like the man they did not censor in a round about way was calling me.

So for the last FOUR YEARS (thats 4) I have not been able to post in the comments section. They will not give me a reason, and when approached on ******** the tweet was blocked (4 attempts). This is one of my first email accounts (so that should give you an idea of its importance to me) I have got.All i want to know is, WHY I have been banned from posting in the comments for this long?I do *not* post racist, insensitive, abusive or any type of phobic comments, ever.Normally i throw some slanderous billboard up (because I'm rich with nothing to do?), and driving out to their office to talk to someone from this country, will be taken as an aggression (laughable), so i thought i would reach out to you through the BBB.The only thing left to do, to get your attention, is a ******* documentary (save me on billboard costs) on how terrible this company turned once sold, how many CEOs this train wreck has lost, etc.. its endless.I digress.. lashing out helps no one but myself.. spend a freakin moment, and help the customers who need it. Don't be a machine.. just communicate, thats all.

I have been really disappointed with Yahoo. I have been using them for years and they were great but the last 2 months have been horrible. I was locked out of my e-mail and the password, which was saved on my computer and written down in a file, wasn't working. I finally contacted the Better Business Bureau about my issue getting into my e-mail account and within a couple of days I got a call from a tech and he took care of the problem and I was able to sign in. I was very thankful. I would suggest to anyone don't even try to figure anything out with Yahoo since you can't get anyone on the phone, unless you pay, just call the BBB with your issues and they will take care of it quickly. I am changing my server to a company who is user friendly and needed to get into my account to transfer my files over. Yahoo I am sorry you chose not to continue your old business practices because you used to be really good. God bless.

I knew it was just a matter of time, and now it's official: we have no more control of the Yahoo homepage! As of 3 or so weeks ago, Yahoo has removed the 3 dots which were the "show less publishers" feature on the newsfeed...now all of the publishers I previously chose NOT to be there are all back, and I cannot block them! I have contacted Yahoo so-called "customer service" and flat out asked them: did they remove that feature? All 3 reps told me to go to the website "help.yahoo.com" for the answers to any questions I had...I told them 3 times that the reason I was calling was because the answer to THIS issue was not on there (and for the record, not at all suprisingly, if you ****** the question, you won't get an answer there, either!)...they literally had nothing to say! Now I am forced to have to put up with all their blatant biased garbage...and after having this email for years, just getting a new one isn't an option! Congrats, Yahoo... just when I thought you couldn't sink any lower...

Thank you for your feedback on the Yahoo newsfeed. We really appreciate getting comments and we have forwarded bringing back the "show less publishers" feature to the appropriate team.
