      I was a survivor of a crime in *******, and they robbed my belongings at the beach which they included my phone and wallet. The phone had automatically saved my email which I had for almost 15 years. The email is very important to me due to all the personal information that it holds, I've contacted yahoo directly on three different occasions and offered to send them any proof of identity requested as long as they help me obtain access to my email. They don't seem to help nor care because they do not provide me with any solutions. I don't understand why? I am starting to believe that it is due to me being a minority. I feel offended and discriminated towards.

      Stay Away. Don't ever be fooled by working with this company. Terrible service, frequent problems with web hosting, customer service personnel is extremely unprofessional, very long wait times over the phone. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

      All of a sudden I have to have a phone number to get in my Yahoo account. ONLY option is message to a phone number that I had 25 years ago and don't remember!!! No other option exist..nowhere to click on "my number has changed" or anything like that..Help chat says They cannot help with this issue. MUST pay for service that is free for 30 days but they now have your credit card information forever to do with what they want!!!!!! Even if you cancle right away they still have your account information. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.They should offer to unlock your account so you can make changes in phone number. I have switched to gmail but want to get my contacts so IU can tell everyone of the switch.

      After years of having my email accounts, I cannot access them without paying customer service. Thank the Great Holy GOD that I still had the main one opened on my phone. It tells me to verify using another yahoo email, but when I go to access that yahoo account, it's the same thing. I can not access them because yahoo will not allow me to access any of them to verify the others. I have been using the same ip address for years so there is no reason for this nonsense. First they attempted to force people unto the app, but the app sucked and was buggy. Now they are holding your info hostage for pay. Since I still have access on my phone. I will move any starred emails and pictures over to another email account and be done with yahoo??????

      Yahoo owns **** I have 2 ******* and 1 *** account shut down for over 2-5 weeks. It looks like **** plus emails are unanswered. My bills, friends, family, associates, medical financial, etc. unable to reach me. I have been a customer since ****, now I cannot get a professional customer service person to help me get back on line.Either they want to charge me, must have a credit card (questionable), need from and back of my drivers license (questionable)? Since when are we to be interrogated by customer service people to resolve a problem?When I provide the 3 emails in question; they say I do not have a two step verification? My phone number and 1/3 emails are used. So when they BLOCKED MY INCOMING EMAILS, there is no way for me to meet the 2-step verification process. So they say well we have a premium service.Who can I talk to to resolve a simple password and get back online and pay my bills and converse with Family and FRIENDS. Since this is an ******** Company, I didnt realize until I talked to CS in ***************, *******, and ****************** that I wouldnt be able to solve a simple problem, Now I am being held hostage and forced to pay a ******, to use my personal emailsSomeone from YAHOO, please reply.

      I have been trying to gain access to my account for days now and every time I send a code to my phone the messages are coming out clear. Ive called technical support they send me a code and boom it shows but now Im trying to do it on my own and still nothing. This is a scam they want people to pay for a monthly service so theyre changing our passwords and sending clear messages so that well need them for access. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. DO NOT USE YAHOO!!

      mechanical services-We had **** the technician help us on a Saturday morning with our wall thermostat. We had a relative who has dementia try to reset thermostat because she was cold in the middle of the night and we couldn't get the thermostat to work in the morning. **** was very patient with ** as we worked through changing the schedule that was put in the thermostat as well as reprogramming our thermostat. We can't thank him enough!

      I'm confident that I will never gain access to my account because I refuse to pay them.They know the changed my password in an effort to scam me for money. Just like many other people.

      Echoing everyone elses similar complaints, I just moved back from ***** and therefore no longer have the number I created my account with. The worst part is, I still have access to the account in my old phones mail app, but not where I can change the stupid account info and recovery number. So I cant add this account to my new phone. I will not be calling and paying for a service just to get into my account, that is a shady business practice that I will not support. Thankfully, I can just phase this email out and will be making a new account with google.*In short, do not make yahoo accounts.

      I was in ******** for 6 months, forgot my password and tried to remember by putting in the password that I thought was right, no good. Finally called their "help" line and got the worst "help" ever. I told the person 3 times that I do not have a cell phone and she kept demanding cell phone connected stuff. I finally asked to speak to her supervisor, she claimed he was in a meeting and would call me back. He did not. RUDE! I told her that I could get to my e-mail via my Nook, ( it had my password in its memory) all she had to do is send me an e-mail with my password. She refused to help in any way; wanted money even though she was refusing to help and had been told 3 times that I did not have a cell phone. I tried to get help again today and they wanted even more money with no real help.
