    Stripe is 100 percent a scam, they should be shut down.After conveniently successfully processing almost 70 thousand dollars from our client, they then flagged our business, after this it was impossible to refund the funds to our client nor access them ourselves.Nobody has answered any request for the funds to returned to the client and they continue to avoid responding to anything else.I understand if we fall under a category of business they do not work with, however taking funds from an innocent client and then essentially stealing the money is insane.We will be pressing legal charges.

    Stripe is a very clever scam. They pull this off by first and foremost allowing payments to be received for a number of months and then finding a reason to stop payments the moment your business starts to gain momentum. Ive read review after review and I first hand am a victim myself. I was told my payments were paused because I no longer had a website. After explaining to them my business, my product, and verifying other information I received a email stating I would be exempt from the website requirement. My customers come through word of mouth because we do great work. Furthermore, after a few days my payouts were paused again for the same issue, and the same request were made which I then shared with them I had already provided. They apologized and stated they would remove the website requirement as a whole to prevent red flagging. Fast forward to my very next payment made they charged my client $1,300 dollars to process the transaction! And guess what? They held my money for again the website! Haha cant make this up. So I explained everything, they apologized and said my funds would be available on March 11th. On March 11th they emailed saying once again payments were paused, but this time because of a payment descriptor, which is how I want my business info to show on my clients card. So easy enough, I go in and modify what WAS ALREADY IN PLACE, and low and behold it continues to state its incorrect, and wont let me proceed. Not to mention because they never actually removed the website requirement I was forced to put in my business partners URL just to progress past the page. So I ask them to just process a refund and sure enough they did provide that with my client. Days later, stripe removed $500 dollars out of my actual business checking account without my permission and no reason as to why. NOTE: I did not owe anything, my account had a zero balance. I assume its a charge for the refund. But they had every *****! Because I never received anything!

    Reading the most recent reviews I'm starting to think something suspicious is going on and Stripe needs to be investigated. They are literally stealing money and I smell a class action law suit coming. They withheld payment from my customer when I had been receiving payment from them for over a year. Then they suspended my account and DID NOT refund the money or allow me withdraw. I've emailed multiple times even left a voicemail and guess what? I got a phone call that rang ONCE and hung up. I'm guessing it's so the *** can show they actually called me. Literally did not even have enough time to pick up the call. Called back and what a surprise it does not take inbound calls. This is the most ridiculous and unprofessional company ever

    Our Stripe account was hacked and the fraudsters were able to change our login and profile credentials thus rendering access to support unattainable! We've sent numerous emails in the last 24hrs to no avail. A company that does not have telephone support is ridiculous! The fraudster(s) were able to set up some kind of billable service at $600 monthly premiums that I have no way to cancel! HELP IS NEEDED!!

    Very unfortunate the way you guys are holding your customers money. We work very hard to provide services that will help others and after using you guys for 5 years you decide to hold over 10 grand for 3 months. Now I understand why most people tell me to stay away from stripe as a payment processor. Over 100k transactions and dispute under 2% up until recently and now you hold our money. We already pay you guys a nice fee. Disappointed in how I am being treated. Hope new management steps in to fix these issues. No way to treat your customers.

    If you can, DO NOT USE STRIPE UNLESS IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO ADHERE TO COMMON BUSINESS PRACTICES - THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!:To Stripe Customer Support/Executive Leadership,I am writing this email as a deeply frustrated and disappointed account holder regarding the abysmal customer service and lack of timely resolution for a critical issue on my account. As a financial platform entrusted with managing transactions, Stripe has an obligation to provide competent, efficient, and responsive support especially when dealing with potential fraudulent activity. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite.Despite my multiple attempts to resolve financial unauthorized transactions ***, your team has demonstrated a lack of urgency, transparency, and professionalism. It is unacceptable that it takes an act of congress to contact anyone to bring a resolution to my issue!!! And when I do, a time and day was scheduled and confirmed, and I waited by the phone for over an hour and still didnt receive a call. The call finally came in AFTER 1:00PM EST and I had already departed the facility where I was previously employed.Your failure to address this matter in a timely and effective manner has caused undue stress, financial hardship, and a significant loss of trust in your platform. A financial services company that cannot provide basic customer support or demonstrate accountability should not be in business!!!!!I demand an immediate and satisfactory resolution to this issue, as well as a clear response detailing the steps you will take to prevent this from happening to other customers. Failure to address this matter will leave me no choice but to share my experience across all social media platforms, review websites such as ****** and Reddit, and escalate this matter to regulatory bodies if necessary. I will be sharing this with the Better Business Bureau as well.

    I just started my business and I have been trying to running manual payments through stripe and its been nothing short of a nightmare. Every single one has been getting denied by stripe for no apparent reason and this is letting me look very unprofessional to my customers. On top of that there is nobody in there support I can communicate with even when I email them they take 2 days to respond and not acceptable at all the phone is just an answering machine. I am fed up

    They took thousands of dollars out of my bank acct today, some they paid out a month ago, after the froze my acct last week. How is it legal for them to take money from your bank account for funds they agreed to process? I will likely contact a lawyer over this one, this is ridiculous.

    This company should be closed and or sued. I do not know why banks allow this company to process payments. Stripe will hold you money for upwards of half a month saying that it is part of their policy and practices. As a small business this is detrimental on a small business processing payments from their customers. ******************** is holding thousands of my businesses payments because of their policy to take up to 7-14 days to verify your bank. It does not take that long to verify payments and that's just to get a yes or no from the bank about the validation of funds. Then there is still the processing time for it to be sent to your bank account. This is HORRIBLE service and a bit of a scam to me. The banks won't stop payment and Stripe won't stop payment. It is a complete scam and bad business and will make your business and customer provided service a NIGHTMARE. Do not use this find any other way and if anyone every does a lawsuit please contact me as this business should be shut down.

    Small business owners and anyone else who uses third party payment systems, STEER CLEAR of Stripe. I usually don’t make posts/reviews of companies for poor performance because things happen, but I am a half step away from being IRATE. They will keep the money you have received from clients, ask you to submit the same information 4+ times, not verify the information they continue to ask for, pass you around from support person to support person, try to placate you by continuing to say they are conducting a review of your account and they will be in touch as soon as possible, yet ask you for THE SAME INFORMATION YOU KEEP SUBMITTING, while continuing to push your release of funds for over 3 WEEKS+. This is absolute insanity. I am warning everyone to take your business elsewhere! You deserve every dollar you make.
