This company offers a very poor service, allowing scammers to easily steal businesses without offering any kind of protection to business owners and to top off an already horribly poor service, they impose penalties on businesses that have been victims of scams by taking money from future transactions to supposedly cover future disputes, in short, pay money to the scammers. Lastly, I don't understand how you give THIS COMPANY an A+ rating when it has a large number of bad reviews.

Would give them zero stars. ***** company I have ever dealt with. Once they have your money do not expect anything from them. They sent me decals that are not the right size and never responded to any of the emails. Took me for almost 200 bucks! Scumbags!!!

Firstly, how exactly are you giving this company an A+ rating when they have 1/5 stars on your own website? I echo everything in the below comments. While I was able to get an agent on the phone and they have been responsive, they all tell me that they are slaves to their own tech and can't do anything about allowing me due process in a dispute. Apparantly there is no way to add evidence to a dispute when their system for disputes is faulty and doesnt allow for you to add evidence to it to begin with. I called amex and amex told me they have workarounds but when you call stripe they say sorry, we can't do anything about our faulty tech. There's really no point in having customer svc agents if they are just slaves to the tech themselves. As far as I'm concerned, STRIPE you owe me $5k. Maybe if all of us in these comments get together we can launch a class action suit.

This company is terrible when it comes to payouts. They already charge my customers a ridiculous amount for convenience fees, and then on top of that, take 5 days to pay out, causing me to have to pay to pay out early. It's ridiculous.

I am extremely disappointed with Stripe Capital. They are currently holding thousands of dollars from my business, and it is nearly impossible to reach anyone for assistance. The lack of customer service is unacceptablethere's no phone number to call, and their email responses are generic and ************ a small business owner, I rely on timely access to my funds to operate. Stripe's failure to provide a clear explanation or resolution has caused significant stress and financial strain. Transparency and communication are the bare minimum I expect from a financial service provider, and Stripe has failed miserably on both fronts. If you're considering using Stripe Capital, think twice. The frustration of not being able to speak to anyone when issues arise is simply not worth it. I would not recommend them to any business owner.

This company and its practices should be investigated and shut down. They dont protect their customers in any way. They didnt look at evidence in a fraudulent dispute case and their customer service people wont give their full names because theyre from *********** and *****. I lost $1000 because a customer used my services and then filed that his card was stolen so they refunded him the money and I lost the case that stripe never looked at. This company should be investigated and s*** down.

I am filing a formal complaint against Stripe LLC due to a series of issues I have encountered with their payment processing services. My experience with Stripe has been extremely unsatisfactory, and I believe their handling of my business's payment processing needs warrants public awareness and further investigation. Blocked Payments: Stripe has blocked payments from two of my customers without providing a clear explanation or adequate reason. This has caused significant disruption to my business operations, as I am unable to access the funds or provide the necessary support to my clients. The lack of transparency surrounding these blocks has greatly impacted my ability to conduct business efficiently. Unresponsive Customer Support: On multiple occasions, I have reached out to Stripes customer support team to resolve these issues. Unfortunately, I have been given no helpful information, and my concerns have not been addressed. The representatives I spoke with were unable to provide concrete solutions, and I was not given an option to escalate my case to a supervisor or manager. Lack of Accountability: Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, Stripe has failed to follow up or take responsibility for the payment blocks and the disruption to my business. The lack of communication and transparency has only worsened the situation, leading me to lose trust in their ability to manage my payments effectively. I receive no help with the issue Stripe is causing for my customers. I believe ******************** needs to improve its customer support and provide more effective channels for businesses to escalate issues to higher-level representatives.Based on my experience, I strongly caution other businesses from using Stripe as a payment processor. Their customer service and responsiveness are inadequate, and their actions have caused significant operational setbacks. I hope that Stripe will take this complaint seriously and work to resolve this matter promptly.

STAY AWAY FROM **************************!Used for maybe six invoices per year. You CANNOT update let alone delete your bank account once it's connected! That alone is hugely problematic because what if you have to open a new checking account for some reason? STRIPE keeps all your prior banking info!!! That MUST be illegal in some form or another!!!PayPal is ****, Stripe seems to be a data collector you can't escape, and there's another one based in ************ that I stopped using two years ago -- all the same! Data collectors and likely data sellers!!

My experience with Stripe has been deeply disappointing. They charged fees on a voided invoice, claiming it was due to a tax calculation made before voiding. Even worse, Stripe withdrew funds from my account for an unpaid invoice, citing policies buried in their complex service ************ a U.S.-based business, I was also charged sales tax on Stripe's service fees, which is highly unusual and was poorly explained. Their support team offered no resolution, simply pointing to legal agreements and reiterating that the charges were valid.Compared to competitors like ******* Stripes fee structure is predatory and unethical. Small businesses should avoid Stripe to prevent falling into the trap of hidden fees and unexpected charges. Transparency and fairness are critical, and Stripe fails on both counts.

This company has changed their policies and now ask for very personal information from the owner of a company. As a Incorporated business, we have provided our government with all the documentations necessary for them to legally separate the business from the owner. As such, we are given an Articles of Incorporation that shows our companies legality. Stripe is asking for those papers, as well as the owners SIN, Personal ID and Selfie. This smells like Identity Theft. When I explain this to the outsourced call center, they continuously read from a script and assure our private information is safe, but then protect themselves in their privacy policy so that they cannot be held legally responsible if someone's identity is stollen. When I explain that we WILL NOT be providing the owners PERSONAL INFORMATION, they state that they will withhold any payment that goes through after Dec 12th until that information is provided. This is now theft as that money is not theirs to keep. The 3.4% fee they deduct is legally theirs but the remainder of the funds is ours as payments for goods WE PROVIDED. This company should brush up on their Canadian Business Laws (and other country laws) before initiating such "policies" to their clients.
