I trusted Pinterest with my advertising needs. I cancelled my ads a day later because they weren't getting any traffic. Pinterest still charged me $50, and they have not replied to ANY of my support emails. This is frustrating.Initial Complaint

We are a business who was interested in advertising on Pinterest. We are very sad to see how horrible Pinterest's customer service is, how they are not taking advertisers seriously, and how they are not responding to BBBs or being professional in general. We raised an issue where our own personal views are adding into our analytics - this should not happen. We reached out to the team, and they assured us that analytics are reviewed daily and that self-analytics are removed. When that didn't seem to be the case, we reached out again, only to be told that personal analytics are included alongside the team not understanding how poor of a practice this is, not transferring us to a manager, and literally ignoring our concerns over the course of a few weeks and saying they will close our ticket.Pinterest, please clarify self-analytics, please let us know why your reps are not reading or understanding issues, and please tell us why we're getting multiple answers for the same issue. There is a severe training issue going on at Pinterest aside from their obvious issues with responding to customers, and it's sad to see such a great platform not maintained by those running it.Initial Complaint

Hello My account on Pinterest was abruptly cancelled because of violations that they did not specify. I appealed three times, they promised to review, and have not resounded to date, it has been over three months since the first request for review. I am a retail buyer, I often "pinned" information about items in other stores that I like as that is my business, I think the accusation is that I was using their platform to monetize those pins, I was not, there are other ways of doing that if I chose. I put a lot of time into those boards and to just be shut down like I am some sort of criminal with no clarification and to promised. review and for nothing to happen is horrible. I object to the sheer lack of customer service that apps like Pinterest have adopted, they make money from our content, from us and are rude not even to respond when their are problems. For all I know, my account *** have been hacked and I have no way of knowing what happened our how to rectify the situation. The third time I requested a review I got a message Oof! It looks like your message didnt go through. This usually happens if its been awhile since weve heard from you, or if your original question was closed. Sorry about that!To ask a new question, just fill out our support form: ****************************************** We'll get back to you as soon as we can! Thanks,The Pinterest support team Oof? really, thats their response? I have placed fourth request for review and got the same response as the other three times Hi there,Thanks for writing in. It looks like your Pinterest account is suspended. Our team of experts will review your account. We'll send you another email with the results of our review. Thanks,The Pinterest team No time frame and response to three request. There are directions on reviewing what the violations *** be, but they do not make sense with a suspended account.Wild goose chase they sent me onInitial Complaint

Pinterest suddenly deactivated my business account. Before I got suspended, I had 18M+ million viewers per month and my business relied on Pinterest. I did not spam the platform at all and always followed their community guidelines. They suddenly deactivated my account without providing any reason at all. This is incredibly frustrating and makes me not trust Pinterest as both a user and business owner.I've submitted multiple appeals and all they give me is a canned response saying that they have decided to not reactive my account. They provided no reason. I would like Pinterest to have a real human review my account.Initial Complaint

I received two violations for pictures of ***************************** as ******** from the ** show The Vikings. The violations by the algorithm stated they were adult content. The History Channel showcased this ** show. ******* is standing stoicly. She is dressed modestly and fully clothed. I find this to be biased against my heritage. Next, I received a violation for misinformation for a ******************** popart painting. It is a just a drawing of just a head of a blonde haired woman with pink lipstick. There are no words. These images are artistic, modest, and beautiful. Pinterest is unfairly punishing pins from normal users with their gustapo algorithm cop.Initial Complaint

Your Help Desk engineers and support team have got to be the worst crew I have ever worked with. Not only do you not have the option to respond to support tickets, but your team closes tickets out with absolutely resolution. I have been unable to upload images on Pinterest for a few months and finally contacted your team. This was my original message on June 4. I even created a Loom video to prove I couldn't upload images **************************************************************************************************** Then, I was asked to upload the two images from the Loom video to prove they couldn't be uploaded on my end. I did just that.***************************************************************************************************************************** Instead of the engineer or Help ************* responding, they closed the ticket and claimed they would respond when they had more info. And you can't respond AFTER that. I put in another ticket yesterday, and I got the same exact requests from **** and **. I pointed out that this was the same copy-and-paste lazy response and someone should respond to my earlier ticket. Then I got this response: "I checked the status of this issue and our engineers tried to reproduce this issue on our end, but everything appears to be working as expected. If we cannot reproduce the issue youre describing, were unable to have enough information fix the problem."My issue with that is if the "engineers" were unable to duplicate my issue, and I clearly proved in Loom that it's still happening, then someone from the FIRST ticket should've responded. And now you can't respond to the second ticket because you all close out tickets as soon as you reply. So you have to continuously put in tickets over and over and over again. This is absolutely ridiculous.I would like someone to tell me why I am banned from uploading images. I'm using the same laptop, same browser (Chrome), same website I've always used.Initial Complaint

I created a Pinterest account nearly 10 years ago, and primarily created private boards. I also primarily used the Pinterest app, where my account remained logged in. On June 10, I attempted to access my account and was told that for security purposes, Pinterest reset my password. I was told I had to reset my password using the forgot password link (again-- I knew the password. Pinterest had reset it and was not allowing me to log in). The issue is, I lost access to the email address that the account used on June 3 (an unrelated issue that I was also not warned of). In this situation, Pinterest's support page recommends creating a new account and saving the old pins to that-- something I cannot do as 90% of my pins were private. Using their "contact us" form, I emailed Pinterest on June 10. Note: the form includes the option to say that I cannot access the account email, and provide an alternate email address where they can contact me. However, I have not heard back (not even an automated "we have your message and will reply soon" message). I searched around and found several other instances of this exact issue going back years. In summation, Pinterest locked me out of my account (which is exceptionally frustrating for a company that forces you to have an account to use their site), and their customer service will not respond to inquiries.
