Pinterest was my favorite social media platform so far until I got multiple emails for not following Community Guidelines. All the pins I was saving are all about recipes, books, and most of it fashion references. And it's been deleted. I always make sure that My pins have been recovered. Its sick that my pins are deleted one by one for no valid reason. And now my whole account was suspended without any warning or email. Besides I am not even sharing any of my pins with the public. All my boards are private. And the frustrating thing was that I send a message to the help center about the way my account got deactivated and all I got it multiple annoying emails that says my account will be reviewed. These messages have been repeated. I am not happy at all with Pinterest's new system. not fair at all to delete people's pins just because your pots cant recognize between pins that violate guidelines and the normal decent pins. Let's start from the beginning. I was an artist/illustrator that uses Pinterest like many others for art references, ideas and such. I have many boards such as Vehicles(cars, bikes), Realism/Semi-realism boards, Landscape(Organized by platform such as ArtStation, *************** etc), food picture references, anatomy, and many more. If I were to total them all, there is about 20k to 30k pins saved total. One day I was suspended without any prior warning.After I've read their ******* which is @Pinterest, apparently there is something wrong with their server, and because of that, they advised everyone to send them an appeal on their help center for everyone that got their Pinterest account falsely suspended. I did exactly that. But I got no response.After a while, I found out that they have a ******* account for their help center, which is @AskPinterest, I contacted them there through their DM, but got no answer. Because of that I decided to DM them every 3-4 days just in case maybe they haven't read my DM.But instead of responding back to me, they instead outright blocked me. I haven't done anything wrong, my appeal on their site and my DM through their ******* were all very polite. And because of that here I am filing a complaint to Pinterest through BBB. I hope that you guys can help me here! I utilize Pinterest for many personal things, cooking, home building and decor, inspiration, etc. I strongly use it for homeschooling my preschoolers and soon to be kindergartener. I recently had to re login to my account and found out it had been deactivated. I received zero email warning or notice of the deactivation or account suspension. To my knowledge, Ive done nothing wrong. Ive never uploaded anything and violated copyright. I have submitted numerous help appeals for reinstating my account and have received zero response from Pinterest. I get an initial automated reply, see attachment, but never any further response. My account was suspended because of an error in entering my age. I have been a Pinterest user for many years, but when asked to enter my birthday I entered the wrong year and my account was deactivated. I am well over 13. I have gone to the website, help center, and ******** asking for how to reinstate my account and have not received any response. I have not been able to speak with a real person or received even a confirmation email to say that my request was received. I am rejecting this response because: Asking people to send personal documents like their license information or birth certificates through email is exceptionally bad policy. This is not a safe way to confirm a person's age. Pinterest has given me no assurance of how they plan to keep my license or birth certifcate confidential. This is not fair. I'm disappointed this is the only way to resolved a locked account where a birthday was accidentally put in wrong.

my pinterest account got wrongfully suspended, i have sent over 10 appeals asking for a review and summary on why my account has gotten suspended. i have gotten no response over the past two weeks, i have emailed them before about my account being limited and boards being deleted to the public eye and a month later, they sent me a review back with my account being suspended. i have never gotten a complaint about my account from other accounts, pinterest, or the team itself.Business Response

I have a lot of details I would like to share but since I am limited on Characters.I was sent an email from Pinterest that said they would give me $100 to try their ads. I just had to meet with a rep to go over it all. I signed up and met with K. (I cannot give personally identifiable info on her) There were some issues with this but she agreed to give me the $100 ad credit. I had to add my Credit Card to their system as there is no other way to run ads without it (or so she said). I asked to make sure I would not get charged since I was laid off a few months back and I could not afford any charges for this. She assured me that I would not be charged. We went through it all and I asked again. She again assured me and showed me where the credit was supposed to be. It was not there. She said let's set up another meeting and she would get this fixed by her manager. After a week or so I reached out and she said that her manager approved and that we can set another meeting to finish setting it up. We did the meeting on 5/10 and the same issue had no promotional code on the account. She assured me it was put on the account (on the back end where I could not see it but she could). I verified 3 times on the call that my card would not be charged. My card was then charged on 5/17 for $54.21. I went back and forth with her till I got a call today. She told me that there was an issue on their end that she was working to get the $100 applied to the account but the $54.21 was not able to be refunded. I asked for the money to be refunded again, but she said she couldn't do it. I asked for her manager and they were in a meeting and she would have to have them call me back. I said I would wait till she was out, at which time K hung up on me. No call back has been made from K or her manager. I emailed Kagain and called her direct line and got no response from her. I need this money. $54.21 is not much for a company that big but for me it's huge. They made the mistake not me.Business Response

Want fake/impersonating Pinterest account removed and taken down permanently. Contacted Pinterest customer service about account, account is still up on their website. I want to delete and close my Pinterest account. I went to reactivate it to close it and it will not let me so I went to the help center to fill out a form. The form went through and then I got an email to confirm if it is me, when I did that, the e-mail said it did not go through!"Oof! It looks like your message didnt go through. I used pinterest last week and saw comments put under a picture that read "Tonys safe spot." Then I got an email from Pinterest that showed pictures of things that I searched for like beaches and Pilippine women. One picture showed a picture of a minor with a life jacket on. The picture was modest though the comments at the top were perverted. The comments stated check out my Friday night routine. I was not interested in any minors business.
