    I recently discovered a pinterest account using my name and a unique profile picture thats been a ******** profile picture for a while and in my photos for over 13 years in my ******** account. I haven't googled myself in a very long time so i have no idea how long this pinterest account existed. I contacted pinterest and was given a partial email I didn't recognize. Asking questions about the account to try to understand how and when this happened to understand my risk i kept getting told by the pinterest person that they could only help someone whose email matched the one on the account and couldn't reveal personal information. I kept repeating that i didnt care about the fake account owners personal information and that isnt what i am asking for. I said I could prove the info was stolen from my ******** account and was told if my email isn't on the account I can't be helped. So yeah how is that going to work. I found out there is an impersonation choice in the help center, perhaps a separate group of competent people. but was never offered to be connected to them. After giving up with this person who is either poorly trained or intentionally playing I tried to upload my proof (which they require) to the impersonation group, but I am now blocked for trying to protect my identity. So yeah pinterest really doesn't care about fake accounts and potential scams in spite of what they say. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

    This is the second time in less than 2 months I've had to complain to Pinterest. I started a business account with them. They had promotion for 60 dollar credit if you spend 10 dollars on ads. I filled out the info and only authorized 10 dollars. The payment didn't seem to go through. I gave it time thinking maybe it needed to process. A couple days later I check and my account is deactivated. I speak with their team. My identity needed verification before my ad could processed but why the he** would my account need to be deactivated for that to be done? Stupid. They reactivated my account but it looks duplicated and it only processed 5 dollars for the ad campaign and the 60 dollar coupon mysteriously vanished from the duplicate account and is still on the other one. I sent them a ticket BEFORE CHRISTMAS about this issue and nobody has responded back and now there is an additional 30 dollars charge which I did not authorize. I will report Pinterest for THEFT. Apply the **** coupon and remove the charge because ** had no business duplicating my account to begin with and this all seems like a shady scam to s**** people out of their money. If you have a business, DO NOT take a chance with Pinterest. They could ruin your life with their garbage customer service and their complete disregard for people's money and time. Stay away.

    I ordered 2 lamps on Pinterest for for $39.99 (plus shipping) each several months ago. I never received the lamps and I cannot get a response from ANYONE about it. If this is how they operate they shouldnt be in business I ordered the attached wolf lamp and a shark lamp as well in a single transaction.

    My daughter, who is 16 years old, set up a business account with Pinterest without our knowledge She connected it to her teen checking account and was promptly billed $93 for what they called advertising on the platform. She noticed the charge and removed her billing information from her account. She was then charged a week later another $54 for the same type of advertising. This was after receiving an email, from Pinterest, saying her account had been disabled and closed after the $93 charge. She should not have been able to open a business account or sign any legal documentation saying she was liable due to her age. This is most likely happening across America with teenagers, thinking they can get rich fast opening a business account on Pinterest. There is no phone number to contact Pinterest. There is only web portal to complain, which takes 1 to 3 business days to get back. This in my opinion needs to go to a lawyer to start a class action lawsuit. There has to be thousands of kids that are taking advantage of with the system most of them probably not even able to read the terms and conditions that they agreed to. Thank you.

    Pinterest charged my MINOR (*********************) aged Son almost $300 for a "free trial" period. He was 17 and not authorized for signing contracts for ANY COMMERCE, PERIOD. I have notified Pinterest via US Mail and email (this organization try's really hard to avoid being contacted! No phone number to reach a customer service to assist and most emails are dead ends. As a 36 year owner of businesses I find Pinterest conduct to be very deceptive and predatory to minors who do not understand what they are signing up for and the word "free" is also unconscionable behavior. I demand all of my sons money reimbursed - all $289. If I need to file a civil lawsuit, we can add attorney fees, expenses and my lost professional time income, plus cause of action damages.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    They still have not refunded my Minor Child's money. It is a simple solution for an unjust theft of my sons money. They have until next week before I get my very successful FDCPA attorney on this case. I am tired of greedy, selfish operations like Pinterest who take unauthorized money out of unsavy consumers accounts and they act as if they are reputable. I will get the money back plus legal fees, expenses and a bill for my time. In the meantime I will be on a mission to warn others of this unfair company.

    I had a pintrest account a long time ago that I no longer have access to - I'm unsure what the email address was that I joined with and no longer have access to it or my phone number at the time. My photo is showing on the account and the account name is my full name (@**********). I can provide government ID to show I am the person photo'ed and my name matches. I request that the account be deleted (my photo is showing on search engines linking to the account, and I do not want this any more).

    Hello,I have recently opened a new business pinterest account, days ago, to be exact. I have explained numerous times to the pinterest legal team and customer support team via email, that I don't understand the reason(s) why my account is currently suspended. I have asked for assistance from the management team to get more clarification and to clear up any issues, as this is a new account. Pinterest has not reached out to help me and rectify this matter. I have asked to speak with Management so that this can be rectified as soon as possible.So far, all of my email requests for assistance, have gone ignored with automated message replies or replies from a staff member that my account cannot be reactivated because of spam concerns, according to Pinterest. I'm a customer that has rights and so far, I'm not being treated fairly. I have a learning disability and I need further assistance with understanding and getting guidance to fix whatever issue it is so that I can operate according to the proper standards of Pinterest. I have reported my disability to Pinterest and have received the same automated reply and then a reply from Pinterest support team that states that cannot reactivate my account because of Spam issues. Furthermore, I have investing monies towards my Pinterest platform as well. I also would like to make mention that I'm an Affiliate Marketer with Amazon and this practice is allowed on both platforms. This company needs a more reasonable resolution team, for the consumer, business owner, and customers alike. They should have more respect for their customer/clients' accounts and come up with a better resolution than just "deactivating" or "suspending" customers' accounts without their consent or even giving them the opportunity to rectify the matter to get back up and running again. This makes no sense. The pinterest "Appeals" process is a joke. I received an email stating that my appeal was being reviewed, only to receive an email in less than 5 minutes stating that the review team cannot reactivate my account. I have investing monies for this platform as well. Very dogmatic treatment and no consideration or common courtesy or customer service at all. Please assist. Thank You,***********************

    I recently purchased an item on pinterest. The item did not come although they tracking information said delivered. I contacted the company and they said they could resend the product or offer a refund. I chose to try once more but yet again recieved no product. I contacted *** and they could not find any such tracking information or product as i was told existed. I have now tried to contact pinterest again and they are not responding to my emails. I see this advertisement still running with positive reviews but yet have attempted to contact through the review platform and am still being ignored. At this point it's clear no product will come so i would like a refund.

    I am locked out of my account and have requested that Pinterest confirm they have the updated phone number but they are refusing to check their own records. They are forwarding me to ***** who says the phone number on their end was correctly updated and advised me to request that Pinterest confirm they have the updated phone number in their system. ***** said, the phone number in Authy has already been updated correctly, which means there's a synchronization issue on Pinterest side that can only be resolved by them. However, I have asked Pinterest twice and they will not do anything except tell me to contact *****.

    Yesterday on 9/23/23 I received an email stating that my Pinterest account (@novagyrl) was suspended for spam, even though I never have committed spam, and never would do that. I followed the instructions and appealed within 48 hours, but within 2 hours I received another email stating that my appeal was denied for no reason. I have since then sent two other appeals but keep getting denied for no reason. My account is used to save pins and upload ones of my graphic work, and truly believe this is some sort of error that theyre not taking into account. I desperately just want my account back.
