My account was suspended indefinitely and the reason stated was [duplicate account]. I'm concerned because I know if a duplicate account exists, I didn't create it and am quite concerned about my personal information. Approximately one year ago, a roofing company was attached to my profile. I reached out to Nextdoor for assistance. I explained that I have never owned a roofing company and have no idea how or why it was attached to my account. There was also an account for [******** *******] and given my name first name and married are uniquely spelled, the account was obviously not mine and I reported it to Nextdoor staff.I have attempted to contact Nextdoor several times, but haven't received a response. The issue was resolved, but I was unable to find out the details. It is a bit troubling because I never created a second account, just as I never added a roofing company to my profile.

Nextdoor is allowing moderators with zero qualifications other than they were first to arbitrarily remove comments they don't agree with and suspend people without recourse. There is no rhyme or reason other than control freaks and DEI champions ruthlessly controlling conversations and comments. I read this is quite common across " neighborhoods" and not just my own. On Feb 16th 2025 I requested Nextdoor.com to delete my personal data and my account. They decided not to do so because my account had a suspension. I want my personal data deleted from their system.Business Response

I never signed up for any emails from this business and somehow they even know my first, last name, and my address. I do not live at this address as this is my parent's home whom i will be returning to after I complete military duty but the fact that they have my address and tried to sign me up is concerning as ther are accessing my PII. I have researched this issue online and have found that this business sign people up in order to bloat their numbers on active users.Business Response

I live in a rural area with great fears about bird flu. I just heard that other people trying to suggest shoe covers and hand sanitizer after touching birds got DELETED for making suggestions because Nextdoor decided it was political?!!?! POLITICAL?!?!? NEXT DOOR DECIDED THIS!Basic hygiene when getting a chicken is political?!!!?! Shame on you. So Ill happily post this everywhere literally everywhere as this is not only not political but gross negligence. Further - when you try to contact someone at Nextdoor via the app, it sends you in circles WITH ZERO contact form. Hence Im here. In violation of their published procedures Nextdoor.com moderators have disparately refused to respond to my complaint about a 30 Jan 2025 post by Nextdoor.com Lead for the ***************************** (***** ****** ******* I immediately flagged the post using the Nextdoor.com APP and then followed up multiple times by email. **************** begins with:"***** ****** ***** Clifts Cove Blvd 30 Jan ***** seeing all the *** business Views of *** ******** posts on Nextdoor, the Board members feel obliged to offer a short explanation of one of his efforts as an example. The Board have asked me to provide this explanation. My apologies for sending this post but feel it may shed some light on ******** motivations." In contrast (for context only), the Nextdoor.com moderators (in conjunction with ***** ****** *****, who is the lead for the Nextdoor.com "*****************" group or neighborhood, hides or removes my posts within minutes of being posted. ******** website has completely wrong information about my business posted on their website. I have been a sole proprietorship llc for the past 23 years. I work alone. Their algorithm has confused me with another (not even local) jewelry shop whose owner, ****, has very poor customer feedback and bad reviews. They have identified him as the shop owner of MY STORE. They have also posted incorrect business hours for my shop.I would like them to remove me from their web postings but see no way to make that happen.
