The company disabled my business profile due to saying I needed to do verification, which I did when I first signed up by submitting my business license and everything was fine. now as of last night or yesterday afternoon, rather they have disabled my page to where I cannot communicate with potential customers this is costing potential money. I tried to speak to them. I sent emails. I uploaded my document to the link they provided me, and it was not accepted.I have a legitimate business license from the city of ******* and the state of ******** just like all the other businesses that are up there Im not sure the reason for this. I have reached out several times no response.This is very unprofessional. As a review team member of ********, I spoke up to defend a post flagged because the poster was needing help. Since that post, my account was suspended permanently stating the name is not my legal name on my account. Per ND guidelines, I used my real name to register, then a different display name, which does not break guidelines. The email states I can change my name, but when I try, everything is blocked access. My appeals are ignored.Business Response

I had requested Nextdoor through the Better Business Bureau to remove the ** generated headlines from all my posts. It seems that Nextdoor did do that, however, now it puts a ** headline saying. ** headlines removed from this post.. see the screenshot. I cannot see this, but some of my neighbors can see this. This is just as bad as the ** generated headlines. Can they remove that they have removed the headlines from my posts.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: that is unacceptable. Many of my neighbors on Nextdoor agree with me that the ** headlines are intrusive. Making the headlines for my post out of my sight, but not my neighbors sight? That is really insulting. If an option isnt made for each individual to turn the ** headlines off soon, I will just leave Nextdoor.

today, admin has indefinitely suspended my neighborhood account, which they state is only done for horrible offenses. the account was only one day old, and the only actions i have posted was to say i am (1) a state licensed HVAC tech, fixed a church friends heat, (2) spoke highly of local police who i am friends, and (3) spoke encouragement to a neighbor. what of these actions was so bad for them to defame me in my own neighborhood? where i say hi to neighbors walking pets, and see these people in our grocery store. they need to cease and desist their defamation in my neighborhood. and they should provide me with a reason for their action. as this complaint proceeds, i would like to enter on your file my 2 sept 2025 open letter to our Office of the Chief of Police. and enter my letter to our State Representative, and a 25 august 2025 letter from my employer to me showing my charachter in my community. their admin's action against my good name is defamatory. i wish for them to cease and desist their action, and to provide me an acceptable reason for their action. against a local account which was one day old, and barely any activity.Customer Answer

***** from Nextdoor app has reached out to me and explained security concerns, which i understand, and i reciprocated with explaining my responsibilities for my security and identity. i hope she understands.
she asked me to send my government ID unsecured, to an unknown terminal on their end, with no mention of its Chain of Custody or disposition. i declined to do that and gave reasons why.
I would like to upload to your file these publicly avaiable documents, which can be verified by people at their contact.

I can paste the business's 15 nov 2025 demand here, which i rejected for security, control and privacy conerns. they have not responded to my 15, 16, or 19 nov 2025 emails. I have several concerns which have not been responded to. and I have informed The State who are the issuers of the document they are demanding.
the ball is still in their court. they can negotiate here in public, respond to email, or reach out to the State.

In trying to use this companys website for local area information, I have been harassed by their Leads and Reviewers many times. These individuals seem to gang up on neighbors who dont align with their local political candidates and views. All the while these same individuals promote their local politics and candidates along with their aligned local politic supporting neighbors by allowing same post in favor of their candidates. As well mine and others have been suspended many times because of our local political views. These actions are very Orwellian and should stop.Business Response

Nextdoor.com is a website that is suppose to bring communities together, I stumbled onto it updating my business hours through ******. The very first thing I noticed was the email contact was my competitors email address. I found they also had my address wrong and a link to a website that has never been a part of my company and says it can not be found. They are sending people to the wrong address, providing a website link that goes nowhere, and direct email contact is my competitor. As they have been providing this misinformation for probably years I have no way to know just how much they have cost my business. The potential harm is to great to even assess, and if it is happening to me I'm sure it is happening to others. I refuse to create an account with their services to correct their mistakes, especially with the class action lawsuits against them about the sharing of peoples data. Hi, people frequently ask for help on this app, and the user **** *** S., intentionally tried to get someone in trouble for attempting to help someone in need. A single mother was struggling with her gas bill so her and her kid would not be in the cold, but this person tries to say the post wasnt allowed. I am not good at taking screenshots, but you can still see in the attached screenshot, the words of **** *** trying to get someone in trouble. This is a good neighborhood, but people like this have ruined the app and upset neighbors. The report option does nothing against these people despite there being a report option for unkind neighbors. Many neighbors have complained about being banned unfairly, and this person right here is a prime example of someone who needs to be removed from the app. If this post cant be made, then neither can past posts. Like for example, when a person in distress needed help to pay a vet for a cats procedure when the leg needed to be amputated. This was a kind act showing how caring the community can be. They came together, paid for the cats leg, saving the cat. The neighbors combined paid over 1000 to ensure the cats safety. **** *** is a direct reason why there is hate in the world, and why people complain about unfair bans on the app. We need **** *** removed and held accountable so she understands exactly what she has done. With snap possibly causing money issues for people, it makes it even more necessary for those who are capable of helping, to help those in need. I for one has struggled, and i intend to help anyone i can who is struggling. People have helped me, so it makes me want to return the favor. Nextdoor has begun using AI generated titles/headlines on the top of all my posts, without my permission. Often the titles are incorrect, but most importantly, I find it an invasion of my posts, which are mostly my nature photographs. The titles/headlines make my posts appear to be like advertisements. I also find it insulting. If I want a title at the top of my post, I am quite capable of creating one myself. ******** is taking ownership of my posts, which are creative in nature. I added a screenshot of one of their titles, which greatly diminishes my write-up about my photo.Currently, there is no option to disable this feature.Business Response

We have a professional troll who likes to harass others and check on their professional licenses etc. and blast that all over Nextdoor. I recently responded to this post with steps that the victims of his abuse could take if he continued. Shortly thereafter, my account was suspended for failing to use my real name. My real name is being used as a display name on Nextdoorhow anyone would be able to determine otherwise given this is my legal name has yet to be explained to me. As such I find that the issuance of a violation/suspension has gone beyond the authority of moderators and I have nothing to prove to them unless they can show me how they came to the conclusion that I am not using my real name on the site. As such my account should be reinstated immediately and the moderators told not bother me with such asinine and juvenile antics again.Business Response
