As of 10-2-2025, I noticed that Nextdoor won't allow a new customer to recommend or fave my business or to give a review. They blocked my free business profile page, aswell me not having access to my neighbors activities. They said they offer free business promotions to allow a local business to build a local following through recommendations and reviews. Following the business model they set forward, I'm being punished, because of my neighbors referring me, despite me not paying for advertising thru them to gain referrals. I meet the standards they set forward for local neighborhood businesses, and they punish me by trying to force me to pay for advertising. Everytime I log on, it directs me to advertising. I don't think it's fair, when my neighbors want to recommend me to other neighbors. Why are they blocking my neighbors from me. It's not right.. ThanksBusiness Response

The webplatform nextdoor has contiune to harassing me and they are send me emails every day reminder that my account is suspended indefinitely I think iam being harassed by a nextdoor webplatform employees or someone who has close ties to the platform because they had knowledge about the terms and conditions of the webplatform better a then just an advantage member i have contacted law enforcement and the federal agencies and the *** cyber security department and as well of the state police in ** and the attorney General In CA there is No signs of This getting any better every one know that nextdoor is not above the law and they are discrimination and racism and cyberbullying and teasing and harassment me which is against the law this needs to be settled. Nextdoor suspends my account instantly when I post something. I tried getting in contact with Nextdoor and never received a response. Every time I try to post on Nextdoor my account gets suspended instantly I can only view, I can't post anything. Why?Business Response

This platform is bias, it definitely infringes in our constitutional right of free speech. You can talk about anything but politics or religion. I see people insulting others and nothing happens, I reported a man for harassment and nothing happened. I mentioned ***** ****** and got reported and my post gets automatically banned because I mentioned religion? Then on a comment I mention ***** ****** and get a prompt asking me to rethink my post and suggest a different message which was just what I had said but taking out the name of ***** ****** out of the post. They said it was offensive for others. But spreading misinformation about others seems to be ok with them and nor offensive.Business Response

I have been using a social media platform, Nextdoor, for years in our local neighborhood called *********. Recently, because of our local La Cresta politics, which have become very heated, it has bled through into this Nextdoor platform. ** allows local neighbors to become Leads. The Leads are allowed to vote on whether anyone's posts are removable based on ND guidelines. However, there is a highly subjective component to this. For ex: I posted a flyer which invited our entire ******************* to attend a Dinner Dance. Because the very biased Leads do not align with my local politics (our HOA is running an election this month for new board of directors which is at the core of this issue), they removed it, calling it Spam. Yet, for years, I've posted that same flyer to announce the annual dinner dance. No issues until this new group of divisive, biased leads. I have many more examples. Another egregious one is that a neighbor (on the other side of this political issue) who happens to be friends with the leads, posted something about his website. I decided to do the same to bring folks to my side. I made an almost identical post. They removed mine immediately. I reported his as spam and it was not removed. I have emailed ND MULTIPLE times trying to get them to look into this very biased practice and they refuse. I've tried their San Francisco office, but they will not offer support. The only support they offer is their online email support. I've emailed them at least 10 times over the past week trying to get resolution and they will not respond to my concerns. The neighbor has been suspended by Nextdoor Support for spam and other violations of the Nextdoor Guidelines many times over the calendar year. They are currently on a one month suspension because of it. When they are off suspension, they can reach out to Nextdoor again, but the reason they are suspended is for violating Nextdoor's Guidelines.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I have NOT been suspended many times. I'm on my first suspension in over a year and it is the 2nd time I've ever been suspended in all my time using ND. Early 2025 I was suspended, but when I appealed it, ** stated I should not have been suspended and they revoked it. For you to say that I have been suspended multiple times in a year is incredibly disingenuous. NOT TRUE. Next, the reason that i have been getting reported is the crux of my complaint. Your leads are biased. I have provided proof of this and you have REFUSED to reply. This is an example of violating ones first amendment rights. Censorship is blatant on **. Until you offer proof that I have not been preferentially excluded from posting on ND (including others in my camp who have experienced the same biased treatment), this is not resolved. ** leads have essentially all been replaced over the past year. The new leads are all biased and continue to censor us by reporting all of our posts as spam. ND told me via email that **** reports are subjective and often left to the leads to decide. I find that to be true because ND support will not get involved. Waiting for a reply.

Nextdoor deleted my legitimate negative reviews of a business, labeling them as shaming, even though they complied with guidelines and were fact-based. At the same time, I have seen other negative reviews far harsher than mine remain published. This selective enforcement suggests that my review was unfairly targeted rather than moderated under consistent standards.The result is a biased and misleading representation of businesses in the community. By removing some negative reviews while allowing others, Nextdoor creates the appearance of favoritism and undermines the reliability of its platform. I attempted to resolve this through ********* support channels but only received a generic response. This selective removal of reviews undermines trust and misleads community members who rely on the platform for honest feedback.Business Response

Nextdoor has ignored my requests to disable notifications multiple times. On approximately 2 May 2025 I received an email from Nextdoor, followed their link to disable all notifications. Today 9 September 2025 I received another local news email from ********. This is at least the 4th time that Ive disabled Nextdoor notifications in the past 2 yearsBusiness Response
