A neighbor posted our address on Nextdoor and we would like the post removed. It is causing ** problems with other neighbors. Nextdoor removed the post then put it back up. We have reached out to their support email many times but just get a computerized response. Nothing happens. There is no other way to communicate with them.Business Response

Since Sept., Oct., Nov. ********************************************************************************************************************************** to reset. I chose a new password and they wouldnt accept it. They said my email was already taken. Of COURSE IT IS: BECAUSE ITS MINE! I use no other email address. They emailed me a reset and said my email address was already taken? No Duh. I tried numerous times to get support from their help tab but I was continually told the address was taken and could get no farther. For months I and many others in our town have been victims of slander, harassment, and libelous claims by a group called "Farragut Citizens for Responsible Growth and Development" or *****. This group is led by ************************* and ***************************. They repeatedly use their blog and their posts/comments on Nextdoor to harass and slander those who don't support their political views, including our town's elected officials. They stalk our female Vice-Mayor and harass her online any time she posts. They spread lies about their opponents such as claiming our Mayor had a felony arrest in a state he never was in. One member of this group even attempted to assault the Mayor with his car (police report was filed). They will also contact their opponents employers offline and try to get them disciplined at work for their political views. ND sees no problem with any of this.They are repeatedly allowed to carry on with these actions because local leads will not censor their posts. When someone presents facts debunking their lies, local leads will censor the facts. Local lead ******************************* has a personal vendetta against me and frequently gets my comments deleted because I disagree with *****.When you enail ND support expressing concerns and providing proof of the abusive behaviors, ND staff ignores it and will take no action against those engaging in hateful behavior. They are allowed to continue.On 11/22/22 I reported more abuse from ************************* to ND support. My account on ND was suspended on ND by ND staff after reporting this abuse. Their claim was that I slandered the ***** blog with a meme. ************************* and *************************** are free to continue their abusive behavior and ******************************* is still a lead with a bias against me. I was previously a ND lead and only lost my lead status because I moved to a new town. I have never had a problem with ND moderation until ****, *******, and ******* began targeting me.Business Response

The member's suspension is over and they can already log back in. But the member tried publicly shaming another person, which is against the Nextdoor Guidelines. Nextdoor can't verify whether something is true or false. We can only police based on Nextdoor Guidelines. This company has created a system of email subscriptions that requires you to constantly unsubscribe based on the type of email they send to people.example :promotion recommendation etc.there doesnt appear to be a simple way to unsubscribe from all types of the emails they send via they emails they send.the unsubscribe button on the emails you receive only allow you to unsubscribe from the type they sent instead of an unsubscribe from all option.this has been an extreme annoyance to my inbox.Business Response

I informed above mentioned company that a woman, who is running a group called, Girlfriends on Staten ****** ************** All Ages using fake names such as, *******************, **********,******************* and ****************, at least four fake names. (ND policy says that you are not allowed to use fake names)However, ** began to be very concerned when the above individual started to incessantly contact me to post a picture. I immediately contacted her that I was on vacation (out of the country) and was more than happy to do so when I got to the US. She never responded. (I pleaded with her to please do not delete my account.). After sooo many attempts to contact her and and never receiving a response, I found out she deleted my account (Now I had texted her soo many times for several day and started to think why is she ignoring me). I finally heard from her and asked why did you delete my. She started to verbally abuse me and became very argumentative. She started to spread lies and not addressing my concern. I then told her to please dont text me anymore but she continued to so. I then blocked her bc she was upsetting me. I informed NEXTDOOR that I was being bullied and harassed. I also advised them that this woman is using fake names and that this is a safety issue. Also, it goes against NDs policies. As I was part of the group, I did not feel safe nor comfortable when she refuses to give us her name or any other information about herself. To me this is a grave and serious concern, if ND is allowing her to get away with this. However, ND has been harassing me, sending me many upsetting messages, putting the blame on me and accusing me of harassing this woman, which is not true and false. Also ND has disabled my account for several days and I cannot get recommendations for doctors today. ND has poorly handled this matter and caused me many problems. The member is confused about having her account suspended. It was suspended for a reason other than not putting her profile photo up. The woman she's reporting can't have her account suspended. Only Nextdoor Support can suspend an account.
We've worked with the woman she's reporting and everything is okay on that end. And while it's understandable why someone who has a dating group wants everyone to show a photo, it's not mandatory and no one's account is going to get suspended because of that.

Their member has given at least five FAKE NAMES. It is against ***************** policy which clearly states you must use your real names or else your account with ** will be disabled. This woman is running a social group called, GIRLFRIENDS ON STATEN ISLAND WOMENS GROUP ALL AGES. SHE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE HER GROUP ** IF ANYTHING HAPPENS, ** WILL BE RESPONSIBLE.

Nextdoor has made it impossible to unsubscribe from their email communications, despite my repeated attempts to opt out using unsubscribe links and update email settings. It has now been over a year since I deleted my app and account on NextDoor; however, they continue to find new ways to attempt to email me with seemingly no end in sight. The resolution I want is for NextDoor to update their opt out policies to enable a global opt out from communications, and to actually adhere to individuals wish to cease receipt of communications from their company.Business Response

My account was suspended and I asked politely for them to provide the posts considered uncivil.They have failed to do so and continue sending me a form letter claiming they are working to resolve the issue. I requested a supervisor contact me and he stated that ******* provided the posts. She did not. If she had, I would not continue asking for them. I am rejecting this response because: Initially "Jac" submitted a post to me that he claimed was uncivil, when I proved it was not, he thenprovided two other posts he claimed to be uncivil. He neglected to mention that he altered both of them removing the laughing emojis
that indicated I was joking. When I asked "Jac" why he omitted the emojis, he refused to answer. I also asked him whether joking
violated the rules of ND since it is not stated as prohibited. He never answered those two questions and ignored me. Here is all our
correspondence which establishes that I have been courteous and patient and he continues to disrespect me by not answering
2 simple questions. As you know, when you alter a message or take a sentence out of context, you distort the intent of the
writer. Please see if "Jac" will answer those two questions for you since he considers me not worthy of an answer. I find it
difficult to believe he is a Supervisor since you can see from our communications, that he has made one false allegation after
another. On Nextdoor, we are required to use our real name and address, yet "jac" hasn't provided his full name. This shows
his disrespect for members.

The agent correctly advised this member. Nothing was edited and the emoticons are there, but it's possible the member's email account doesn't allow for emoticons to be displayed.
Also, posting discriminatory remarks and asking for someone's birth certificate is a violation of Nextdoor's Guidelines. Adding emoticons doesn't change the discrimination. This member is also one of the most muted neighbors on Nextdoor's platform, which tells us that his neighbors don't usually want to hear from him.

I am rejecting this response because: I am forwarding to you all the email communications I have had with Nextdoor Support whichestablish that they have made one false allegation after another. The reasion I contacted you initially is they ignored my request
to know the reason for my suspension. I am not the only person who has been subjected to their mistreatment and I won't
be the last. When they finally responded, I proved the post they characterized as "uncivil" was not uncivil and did not
violate their rules in any way. Nextdoor Support then substituted two other posts claiming they were "uncivil." They
conveniently omitted the emojis ?????? at the end of each post which indicated I was joking. When I pointed that
out and explained what the joke was about, they refused to answer why they omitted the emoticons and was joking
permitted on Nextdoor. The only way I get answers to my questions is to contact the BBB to ask the questions.
Their claim that my email server does not support emoticons is false as I utilize Yahoo. The real issue was I was joking
to another member. Support then admitted well it wasn't uncivil but it was "discrimination', another false allegation.
I followed up to ask how is it discrimination for an elderly white woman born in *** to be joking with an elderly white man
born in ***? They neglected to answer that one. They keep referring to me as "he" even though I have advised them
several times that I am a woman. My nickname is ***, short for ******. Their latest accusation is that I am the most
"****** person" on Nextdoor. That is probably true because a Lead named *************************** advised everyone to mute me
which I reported to Nextdoor. The reason he suggested that is because he is an election denier, anti vaxxer, Insurrection
denier and Qanon Conspiracy Theory promoter who does not like being refuted with facts. Although Nextdoor claims
to prohibit false information about the elections, they do nothing to stop it. When you report a post for claiming the 2020
election was stolen, rigged, illegitimate, Nextdoor does not remove the post. I realize that Nextdoor is not going to
change their decision about suspending me until Dec 12, but I am stating for the record that I have never discriminated
against anyone in my life and I am truly offended by their continual false allegations. The reason I filed this complaint
was to document the way they do business.

Unethical email practices, dozens of emails received daily that all must be unsubscribed from individually. I have never encountered a website that does this, and for it to send spam level amounts of emails is gross.Business Response

I had a recent post approx 2 weeks ago & just rec'd an e-mail from ************** a volunteer indicating I had used profanity-AH in my comment. Note: other posters have used WTH, A$$hole, wthf, f'them etc during the past few years. I did a screen shot of my response to him & of his replies & posted on the site. Several others commented on how power hungry this volunteer was & needed to flex his muscles since he had nothing else to do with his time. Someone else advised me to excalate it. Others used the above words. One other volunteer commented siding with ***** shortly after my account was suspended. Why was I singled out? Racially motivated? Competition? If anyone review all of their replies it is obvious that it was ***** & ****, volunteers who initiated it (we're going to put her in her place) since I would not accept what they told me. It's like a kid being in a time out because I have more power than you. I do not belong to any other social media only joined at the requests of several neighbors.
