I attempted to join this website and received a msg. stating that I already have an account and that my address has been banned. I have never had an account with this website and this has been my home for over 25 years. It was only leased for approx 1.5 years during my absence. I have attempted to resolve this with the company since February 24th to no avail. They continue to ignore my request to delete anything connected to my name and/or address as it's clear that someone has used my identification to open such an account without my permission. Per their request, I provided two forms of government-issued identification and a link to the county property appraiser's website to confirm that this/has been my home address. I simply want this account deleted and for Nextdoor to provide me with the documentation they used in allowing someone else to establish an account using my name and address. After several attempts, they continue to ignore my legal requests. If you can assist in this matter it will prevent me from having to file a lawsuit. I am trying to resolve this in an amicable, just, and fair manner. If Nextdoor is allowing someone else to KNOWINGLY use my identification and home address it is criminal. This platform has persisted in suspending accounts due to an extreme bias to anyone that is not liberal. They have liberal reviewers and they and their group on this platform flag comments and mass report anyone's comments that disagree with their views. The vague guidelines are used to remove anyone or anything that doesn't go along with their ideology. This is the fourth time my account has been suspended for undo cause. I have attached the comment they claim is discrimination, the second time they have suspended me under that "guideline" . The first time was because I used the word "thug". They were forced to end my suspension once they couldn't prove this was discrimination. They have let a certain group run the site. Two of their reviewers are part of this group. They go after anyone that doesn't let them shout them down or allow themselves or others to be berated. One reviewer even posts a laughing emoji on everyone else's comments or posts she doesn't agree with. Several people have reported this behavior but nothing is done. This is clearly biased on her part. People are flagged and suspended constantly for doing nothing but expressing their opinions, opinions that do not break any guidelines. A lead on this site has even been targeted for just trying to explain to these people that their behavior is rude and condescending. They just attack her for it. If Nextdoor just wants this site to be an echo chamber of left wing beliefs they should just put that out there. Instead they claim to be inclusive of everyone. They are anything but inclusive if you are a conservative. ******** continues, flagging continues, and suspensions continue for any of us that comment against this ideology. I have permanently deleted my Nextdoor account for safety reasons. A young girl, age 17, posted a Gofundme account, for funding for a lawyer and vet costs related to the poisoning of her cat. This is an active animal cruelty case, and this young girl and her family have been advised not to give out certain information, including the vets name who confirmed the poisoning, to avoid interference with the investigation. Because this young girl wouldnt disclose this information, several people started to harass her, and accuse her of scamming. I attempted to defend this young girl, by stating over and over on those harassing comments the fact that she is obeying the advise of the authorities, and that the vet is considered an expert witness in an animal cruelty case, and their name rarely is released until an arrest has been made. As a result of my defending her, and countering their comments with the facts, I have now been accused of getting some of the money from this scam, and all of this harassment has provoked anger in other people. Nextdoor shows a map within one city block of where you live, so any of these angry people could track either the young girl or myself to our residence. That is a major security risk. I had no choice but to delete my account. Deactivating your account limits what people can see, but people can still comment on your posts, so deactivating wouldnt do anything to stop the rumors from spreading, and even more people becoming angry. NextdoorThey are just trying to make me go away without any recourse for a 30-day Ban for something others do daily. I feel it's a discriminatory act and many on Nextdoor have complained, and ND has been in multiple Civil Lawsuits for these very same acts. Once again, I'm seeking to make this public viA BBB website. The information I submitted is TRUE and FACTUAL. They are more CONCERNED about protecting CHILD SEXUAL PREDATORS and ****** in our community then keeping US the community at large safe from these type people who will never be CURED of this sickness. I'm an Ex-Victim of this nastiness and I see NextDoor as a place I can Disseminate this information to others who may NOT know they have a Sexual Offender/ Predator in their midst. I'm prepared to let the ********** know that Nextdoor protects CHILD PREDATORS by not allowing anyone to post about them as in their Rules it's considered PUBLIC SHAMING, which is a blanket rule to restrict FREE SPEECH. You can't just choose cus someone don't like t to suspend someone from doing so. **'s get no special treatment because of what they did to get that TITLE. Nextdoor have been deleting my comments when I give general information about law enforcement. The one post was in the neighborhood news paper and there are 3 reviewers that need to be taken off Nextdoor. I have been suspended for 30 days because of continued abusive reporting by 3 reviewers.
