    Nextdoor allows its reviewers to single out and bully anyone that has views that are different than those that are liberal. They censor my posts but yet reviewers can insult me. After I reported a reviewer my account was immediately suspended. Here reviewer is calling me a joke insulting ***************** for a republican candidate. Nextdoor needs to suspend reviewers and reinstate my account

    The neighbor should report any violations they see. Just because someone else violates the guidelines toward them, doesn't make it okay to also violate. Report them and move on. Also, all actions are anonymous, so even if the neighbor doesn't see an action happening, the other neighbor may also have been suspended.

    This business keeps sending me emails and I've asked them to stop but they refuse to do so. The unsubsribe link they put in their emails is invalid and this is on purpose and does not allow someone to unsubscribe. I consider this harrassment because they won't stop sending me unwanted emails.

    Not only have I reported moderators for there biased reviewing of my content we have tried and tired to get in contact with an actual employee from next door. After carefully reviewing my posts on next door I find no "bullying or disrespect in place." This is unfair to people who are running for election in our municipal elections. Also recruiting leads who try and BULLY people who do not know the ins and outs of next door and not privy to the inside information should not be a representation of next door. Its sad and frustrating and if several people in this community are saying its unfair then next door needs to step in. I do not want to be contacted by a local lead I want contacted directly from next door. Lead- ********** from ********** Review Team- ********************* stem.We do not know who is on the review board who might be biased to his campaign for reelection. This is not UNBIASED this completely biased as your lead publicly embarrassed me. Put my post back and do not mess with my account period.

    Nextdoor has been contacted numerous times regarding being harassed by one of their "review team" members by this person repeatedly "reporting" any and all posts made by me. The reviewer's name is *************************** and she has even, in a message on ********* stated that she was going to do everything she can to get me banned from ND. I would like ND to take her harassment seriously and at least remove her from the review team so that I can block her so that she can no longer see anything I post. Further, I am not the only one she has been harassing in this way,

    Nextdoor is an online community specific to named communities. In our community of *************** the moderators, at the prompting of the *** board members, are banning people critical of proposed *** amendments under the guise of be respectful to people. The *** is not a people and has no feelings to get hurt.This is flat out interference with important *** election which can have an irreversible impact on the lives of community members. The particular amendments the *** is trying to pass are unusally onerous and now more than every, residents in *************** need to be able to communicate their dissatisfaction and counter the falsehoods presented by the ***.One proposed rule in particular should shock anyone reading this, the *** *** board wants the power to arbitrarily modify the bylaws and deed restriction without a vote!I was literally banned for saying Vote no to the *** amendments," and every single post critical of the HO's amdendments was removed.And in response to Nextdoor's corporate approved prepared lies, I was actually polite and very informative in my posts.

    I am rejecting this response because Nextdoor.com is lying.

    My recent comments were all civil and targeted towards voting no on proposed *** *************************** member admitted to me he went around the community moderators who voted unanimously that my posts were NOT uncivil.

    The board member ADMITTED he contacted someone higher up than the local moderators.

    My supposedly "uncivil" posts were:

    1.  Information concerning adverse consequences of the proposed *** amendments.

    2.  A flyer urging people to VOTE NO to the amendments.

    3.  "The megalomaniacs on the board want absolute control over the community."

    4. " The *** board is lying to you."

    5.  "If these rules pass, we will have no choice but to dissolve the ***"

    6.  "Make sure you turn on your ring doorbells so you can record the *** board members lying so I can subpoena them in court."

    Nextdoor.com is clearly interfering with local *** elections in violation of both Section 230 and State laws.  Will Nextdoor.com compensate our community homeowners when property values plummet as our *** gets turned into the association attorney's and management company's personal piggy banks?  A 25% in average sale price due to insane *** changes equals $25,000,000 in lost equity.  

     

    As for my previous "uncivil comments."  Yes I have been banned like 30 times.  Mostly for saying things like:

    1.  "I like ***********************."

    2.  "Voting for ***************** will ruin this country"

    I even got banned several times for responding to someone who PHYSICALLY THREATENED me.  

    Then there was the dog that nearly attacked my daughter, sorry but if you cannot control your dog and it acts aggressively to my child, your dog is going down.  Ok, fine I wasn't nice about that one.  Is there any nice way to express such a concept?  

    And a few off color responses to a very specific troll, those were deliberate because I was gonna get banned anyway from the trolls brigading the report button. 

    Now I also want a hand written apology from the Nextdoor.com CEO apologizing for his company lying to me and the BBB.

    Maybe there is a reason Nextdoor.com stock price is $1.75 and soon to be delisted.

    I emailed you my first Nextdoor complaint: ************************************ date:Oct 19, 2023, 11:22?AM subject:Nextdoor.com complaint No reply or anything from the BBB.Today Oct 22nd, in addition to Nextdoor's lack of transparency, they seem to have turned an insane bot loose on some of us.It apparently reports/deletes our replies. The details are only displayed on their website (which few people use), but NOT their phone app, so for most people, that would mean content is being removed SECRETLY even more than before.There is an obvious double standard here - I am not allowed to apparently disagree about anything, no matter how polite, and can't even help someone understand how Mute and Block functions work on Nextdoor, because person I was replying to, didn't understand.The new SECRET Nextdoor bot is flagging everything as "disrespectful", to include my example.I think I am being targeted because I post negative experiences about our police: their systematic discrimination policies.Other people are allowed to call me expletives in abbreviated format, but I can't use abbreviated expletive format to growl at spellcheck's insane quirks.Nextdoor's double standards and targeting of certain people they do not like needs ti stop.

    I have requested Nextdoor to delete my account and personal information, since I do not want to be affiliated with any organization that practices capricious censorship, but they refuse stating my account was suspended for Community Guidelines on 10/16/2023. Reference: Case # ********: In-App Deletion Request.In a ************ post reply that I made was a reference to ******* ************************************ relating to violence committed in the ******* Loop while he was running for office. I paraphrased Mayor ******** commentary on violence by youths in my reply post to a ******* northern suburb post, which the ************ administrators (local lead) labeled as racist. Many of the Nextdoor posts on the northern suburb violence committed by the youths are disparaging remarks of the youths. My Nextdoor reply post to the violence simply stated that in *******, violence by youths are referred to as victims, meaning, dont demonize the youths. The ******* Mayor is the only mayor that has labeled youths as victims.Mayor ******** remark is quoted as follows:In no way do I condone the destructive activity we saw in the Loop and lakefront this weekend. It is unacceptable and has no place in our city. However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities. Most news agencies reported the violent youths as victims of their environment, in accordance to the Mayors comments. The Mayors remark is not racist, and neither is my reference to his remark racist!I want Nextdoor to DELETE my account and personal data! (Case # ********: In-App Deletion Request) Their censorship by lone individuals in a capricious ill informed manner is unacceptable

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    As requested, the Nextdoor App administrator has replied to me that my Nextdoor account (and I assume my personal data) has been deleted, and claim that I won't receive any further contact from Nextdoor.

    However, I encourage the BBB to continue with follow-up on other complaints of capricious censorship and extremist social positioning committed by Nextdoor.
