    Allowing illegal businesses to offer services to members. Allows unlicensed contractors to promote and offer home services they legally cannot offer. Breaking ***** State law and CSBL laws. When reported I got harassed by members and then removes from site for what they called harassment. When there ws no harassment from me. I also got several threatening direct massages from members. The site Allows members to illegally advertise and promote services.

    I'm filing a complaint because my comment about my harassments experience was removed for disrespect because people who are not categized as minorities are uncomfortable when faced with the obscurities that come with racism because they do not understand. In fact, me as the VICTIM, should not be subjected to slews of online hate, argumentative conversations, and such forth. It would be understandable if I had called our the individual by name, but I was curious enough to not do that. I'm absolutely going to go to the news if my comment is not restored and I am I have already been contacted by the ***** to file formal complaints on any party that is associated with the support of racist bigotry.

    I have been a Nextdoor member for over two years with no incident. Never reported., never harassed., stalkedetc. Until March 2023, have been targeted by a lead. This was confirmed by another lead who advised me that targeting me has repeatedly requested her to repeat the report me Im various instances. I started getting reported after I had different views/different perspective from the lead at that time i was being degradied, my ability to be a pet owner was questioned and the lead, and the other member were judging me, without any knowledge of me, After she repeatedly commented to me without my having time to respond, I was told that I needed to respond via private messages. i did message ****** E and asked her not to be biased. At this time, I did not know she was a lead on Nextdoor. Around this timeframe, there was also another post about a man who was abusing a dog and allowing it to kill a rabbit, then posted it on ********* Author of the post as well as many other Nextdoor members were in the process of trying to save this dog when the post was taken down as the lead said it was against Nextdoor guidelines. Again, I direct messaged ****** and asked why it was against guidelines. She got upset at me and ever since then I have been repeatedly harassed, followed, reported in a biased manner, repeatedly, disabled repeatedly. My reporting of her went ignored. I found out recently from another lead that ****** had asked her to report me repeatedly and she had. After she noticed that she targeted people,, myself, as well as a couple other people, she stopped, reporting as ****** had asked her to repeatedly She apologized for her part of harassing me per ******* request, at the time of her, apologizing to me. ****** was harassing her via text messages, email forms other than on Nextdoor. App. The lead did report ****** however, theres nothing being done about the harassment. She was advised they were or couldnt do anything to reprimand because she was wasnt being harassed on Nextdoor app. Nextdoor has allowed this lead to harass, demean, bully and Im biased manner against Nextdoor guidelines. I do enjoy the Nextdoor App. I just wish I could enjoy it without being harassed and bullied by as Nextdoor lead

    I am rejecting this response because as I have already contacted support on numerous occasions about the harassment/bullying of the lead but they continue to allow it. The public should be aware of the bullying, harassment that continues with some of the leads/moderators which is against Nextdoor guidelines yet they continue to allow it.  Now it appears they want to hide it behind closed doors, stating for these complaints to be handled through their next-door support.  No, it needs to be public knowledge as they are doing nothing to correct this problem which continues to be repeated over and over again as you can see by the multiple complaints which references the same problem with no resolve.

    I have been a member for two years with no incident. Never reported., never harassed., stalkedetc. Until March 2022, I was being someone who repeated these recent comments to me, as well as somebody else degrading me, my ability to be a pet owner, judging me without any knowledge of me, then I couldnt respond I needed to direct messagei did direct message ****** E and asked her not to be biased. She told me that my cousin that was killed b was justifiably killed at that point, I did abuse the guidelines I told her to b word. For That i am disabled from Nextdoor. Although they did not tell me, nor have told me, despite my request to know why I was disabled, I am assuming that is the reason because theres nothing else I could think of that was done wrong against Nextdoor guidelines. *******, I know i was wrong however, I feel that Nextdoor is allowing me to be harassed repeatedly, verbally/emotionally abused. Despite my repeated reports, I am being reprimanded although I am the one thats being harassed as well as being verbally and emotionally abused. I am being bullied on the Nextdoor App. There are other instances which would be too long for this complaint. I would like to be as concise into the point as possible. I have been, I am suffering depression, anxiety, and do not know what to do. I feel everything I tried to do to protect myself on Nextdoor App has been and is-being ignored

    Nextdoor is engaging unfair trade practices. Specifically, Nextdoor and its reviewers are selectively targeting members like myself based on political opinions. Nextdoor has reviewers who work in local government and quash dissenting opinions and dissenters.Nextdoor needs to immediately reinstate my account or I'm filing suit.

    My complaint is straightforward. I receive an abundance of emails every day 10 I can probe it. To unsubscribe I have to verify and wait for a postcard to put in and I still am not clear if I will not get another email Also this is very alarming and I feel dangerous.. the amount of publishing what nypd is doing ? what the neighbors are doing ? And overall complaints is dangerous and I think bordering on illegal. Please note I will be looking into the local and federal jurisdiction on this . When you have neighbors asking about police activity in a public sight it allows the criminals can upper hand

    After using the Nextdoor website successfully with no complaints for over 6 years, this year I was suddenly informed my account was permanently suspended-- because of not using my "real name". My privacy and getting hacked are important, and even for making sales transactions, the address would only be given by PM in the case of a serious buyer making an appointment. Although I object to having a searchable name used in my neighborhood, I did wish to continue with the Nextdoor community. Nextdoor gave no warning or reason for suspension after many years, other than the "real name" guideline, never a problem before There seems to be no way to reinstate a "permanent suspension." Either they are now using overzealous network administrators, or the programming isn't robust enough to correct errors. This privacy problem is a huge red flag.

    I am rejecting this response because: In a small neighborhood, an unusual name and initial can be a target for unwarranted actions.There is no way to report or counteract such activity, and it opens the door wide for scam artists, political extremists or prejudiced acting out.
      As long as NextDoor knows the identity and location of the avatar, there should be no problem in using a "stage name" which can be recognized and followed by neighbors.

    NextDoor has repeatedly demonstrated outright bias and harassment by their designated censors - sometimes called local leads. They routinely persecute people based on ethnicity and religious grounds, and even more blatantly on ideological grounds from people defending themselves. ND "permanently suspended my account by *A* (emphasis added) staffer because of a discussion that centered about having a COMMUNITY display of support for a minority receiving much harassment and overt targeting on NextDoor and in the area. That made it a VERY relevant issue, as in a nearby community this harassment has resulted in at least one death and people being terrorized for their race and ethnicity. Community support against that rampant harassment is extremely important.This claim was false, first of all. The ENTIRE THREAD and the VERY ORIGIN OF THE CONVERSATION was most definitely about the community and a proposed gathering to show support for community members who were being victimized by the overt racism on display in our community. The original poster and a number of people were attacked and harassed by people who were against any display of community support against the harassment of Jews.Curiously, ND did NOT censor or kill the accounts of people IN THE SAME EXACT DISCUSSION of people who were in favor of the harassment in our community.However, ND did NOT suspend or kill the accounts others IN THE SAME EXACT CONVERSATION who were arguing in favor of terrorist actions and in favor of the death and persecution of Jews. ND has a pronounced and well-known bias, and this is just another example. They routinely discriminate against points of view by deleting posts and carrying out vindictive suspensions and dubious claims of TOS violations - the latter happened to me just a week before where my account was suspended and then an email from an appeal admitted it was a "mistake." A rather convenient one and deleted posts from the admitted mistake were not restored.
